I am posting this to find out how you are all doing. The faction seems a little quiet and I was wondering why. Is it that everyone is busy with the up and coming holidays and Christmas? or are we all bored...

Well Grand Master I think it is time for a long and languid Dominion. Something that those around can post and have fun but take it easy.

I think the season is making things generally quiet BUT I love the idea of a Faction based Festive social thread bash - it doesn't all have to be war and battle and action, does it?

BUT then another dominion or invasion or strike will be so good to get into for 2015.

We could of course, combine the two. Dominion Festive party on whatever planet and all get roaring drunk!

We don't have anyone in range we'd want to invade and dominions we were able to really do because we plotted them with a current story and made it very fun. A party for 100+ posts can be difficult and we'd need something more for it. That is why I used treasure hunts and the hammers.

Hmmm.

How about an expedition, rather than a dominion? A trek to find some relic or ruins, or maybe a downed Silver Jedi craft or something?

(We can always have a Festive bash just in the SJ forums, can't we? OR make it a little sinister mid-way to get posts up, like a 'Die Hard' scenario or something..?)

[member="Connor Harrison"] I like the idea of a die hard scenario... though if the silver jedi are Bruce willis it will be really hard if there is a lot of them. Or could be really boring if only one is Bruce Willis and the others are held by NPC's. Maybe a Die Hard Vengeance scenario would be better with all involved.

'DHWAV' is a good idea, that's a cracking film and story and has good potential....a sense of threat, an unknown enemy and testing relationships and ranks when the rules are thrown out the window... good one.

Finals. One has me hiding under blankets hoping a natural catastrophe to finish it. The other is 8-10 pages of polished fiction which I've been working furiously on and it takes up a lot my daily word count allotment.

No Dominions don't have to be about battles and action all the time, I have seen them done in many ways. Just thought it could be used to kill to two birds with one stone as it were. CIS did one that was a beach party so yeah..
