Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to post. I've been part of a play by post community for about ten years now, with a Start Trek theme, but my first love has always been Starwars.

I've served as a department head on the ship and feel I should fit in here nicely. I live in South Africa, so English is actually my third language, so every now and then, please forgive me if I make up a new word!

Baie dankie. I am struggling to figure out the character part of things. I have created a character, how do I edit his picture, and change to type with him?

First of all, you have to change to the character. All you have to do is click this drop-down bar in the top left of your screen;

And then select your character in the drop-down. You should now be in control of that character account. Anything you post now will be under that subaccount.
To change your picture, just do the same as you did for your Writer account. That is, go on your character's page and click this button;
