The tranquil gardens of New Cov were bathed in soft, dappled sunlight as the midday rays filtered through the lush canopy overhead. The gentle rustling of leaves and the distant chirping of native birds created a serene backdrop, perfect for the day's purpose. Valery sat cross-legged on a smooth stone in the middle of a small clearing, her eyes closed and posture relaxed as she meditated. The subtle pulse of the Force flowed around her, connecting her with the vibrant life all around.

It was a peaceful setting, but today, her mind was anything but still.

Valery had summoned both of her Padawans — one familiar, the other still new to her guidance. Anneliese had been under her wing for some time, her growth and progress a source of pride for the Jedi Master. But Azurine, Valery's newest student, was still finding her place, learning to navigate the responsibilities and expectations of becoming a Jedi after a long time in stasis.

Opening her eyes, Valery glanced toward the garden path, sensing their approach. A soft smile touched her lips as she rose to her feet, her hands smoothing down the fabric of her jumpsuit. There was a sense of anticipation thrumming in the air — today would mark an important step for all of them.

"I wonder how they'll get along," she murmured to herself, her gaze thoughtful as she turned to face the entrance of the Gardens. She had high hopes that the two would complement each other, each bringing their own strengths and perspectives to the partnership.

But already, Valery knew they'd be quite a handful as well.

"Hyperspace drop in three." Azurine muttered to herself, flipping switches and running a couple of scans on the cockpit screens of the smaller generic fighter craft she'd taken to get to the planet from Coruscant. She certainly didn't want to have someone ferry her to a different system when she could easily, and with pleasure, fly there herself. She had permission this time to use one of the temple ships, at least until she could manage to get the credits for one of her own, she'd made sure of that.

Once she'd dropped into the outer atmosphere of the planet, she was definitely a little bit in awe. She clearly had yet to experience so much of the galaxy, even more so given how much had changed over the course of 900 years that she was still trying hard to navigate and piece together. There were so many planets she hadn't yet seen. New Cov was one of them. It was beautiful, even from above.

If only Rees were here to see it. she thought, her mind wandering to her droid that still laid broken in the quarters she'd been given at the temple. Another relic from a bygone era, like her right arm and her lightsaber. Or myself ...

With the coordinates to the Jedi Enclave already entered into the Nav System computer and clearance for her entry already given, she piloted her way to the proper landing pad and exited the craft rather nimbly. She certainly didn't look like a jedi if one judged by her outfit in this moment, more like a smuggler or an outlaw of some type, but it was comfortable for long flights and she had never actually been one to follow dress expectations. As surprised as she was to get this summons from Valery when she'd expected to be met with on Coruscant itself, it made sense in the long run. She just hoped this wasn't about the pit fighting, or 'borrowing' one of the fighters ... or- she shook her head, trying to clear it of all of the different things she'd managed to get into since being ripped out of stasis.

Taking a quick deep breath and brushing some loose strands of her barely shoulder length, obsidian hued hair behind her ear, Azzie made her way through the grounds and to the gardens, which were honestly even more beautiful up close. Beautiful and almost calming. Her gaze, piercing as the violet shifting shades within an aurora nebula, eventually landed on the Grandmaster. She already knew she was late according to the position of the sun above them, making her expression scrunch up in exasperation with herself. What a great start to this meeting.

New-divider-Anneliese.png

It had been sometime since she last got to just sit down and just have time with her Master Valery Noble… and like all things, time had a way of shaping and molding people despite the length of their absence — but like a child longing for their parent, she too longed to be in her presence… the safety and comfort it aforded her. So much had happened since their last meeting, her brow creased slightly, how much would she know, what would be said, what would be asked?

But today was a summoning for another reason — today, she would get to meet, unbeknownst to her, her sister in the force, a sister Padawan in arms, and friend she would cherish for her rest of her entire lifetime.

Valery was busy, always moving, always helping others, she had to be, she had a title that carried great weight for their Order… and just like her Master, Anneliese did her best to be out and about whether it was training, classes, personal or missions given to her by the Council or Val. This was the weight she carried as her Apprentice, the shadow that loomed over — and she would strive to always make her Master proud, to always do her best to represent the teachings she passed down to her.

As she stood on a path outside near the Gardens, she stared off into the sky — the bright rays of sun lighting her strands of unruly hair on fire as she smiled up towards the sky… a soft smile adorning her lips as the wind kissed her face.

Her mind dwelled on Roman Vossari Roman Vossari — a warm and fuzzy feeling swelling in the pit of her stomach , wondering what he was up too, and when she’d get to see him again, her soft gaze falling to the symbol on her hand as she went to crossing her arms, hugging herself — maybe they’d visit his parents again and try to continue building that bridge of acceptance with his Father. Maybe… just maybe.

Then… her mind loomed on the brewing threat of war that was Tython. There was so much going on — too much.

Taking a deep breath and clearing her thoughts, she turned on her heel as she headed towards the Gardens.

It was time.

It didn’t take long before she could feel Val long before she saw her. As Anneliese approached her Master, who stood on a smooth stone, she smiled brightly at her — the warm and loving twinkle in her eyes she gave every time she saw her. Coming up in front of her she bowed respectfully and reverently — her voice choking into the tranquil settings with an equally welcoming tone.

“Master — I’ve missed you. It’s good to see you — have you been well?”

Valery turned as the two young women approached from opposite directions, her warm smile brightening at the sight of each of them. Despite the differences in their pace and demeanor, there was something in the way they carried themselves that spoke to the strength and promise she had sensed in both of them.

"Azurine, Anneliese," she greeted, her voice gentle and welcoming. "It's so good to see you both."

Her gaze shifted to Anneliese first, catching the bright twinkle in her eyes. "I've missed you, too," she replied, briefly squeezing her shoulder. "I've been well, but busy as always. And you?" she asked, her tone softening with concern. "I hope you've been finding the time to rest and focus on yourself."

Before Anneliese could respond, Valery's attention shifted to Azurine, and her smile turned just a touch more playful. "And you made it all the way here on your own," she noted, her eyes glancing over Azurine's outfit with a hint of amusement. "You know, if you keep showing up looking like a smuggler, I'll have to send you on supply runs," she teased.

She chuckled softly, then gestured to the open space around them. "I wanted to bring you both here because I believe there's a lot you can learn from each other. You both have different strengths, experiences, and perspectives — and together, I know you'll help one another grow." She took a step back, folding her arms loosely as she watched them both.

"Today isn't about training or missions. It's about understanding one another. So take a moment, talk, and get to know each other."

Azurine found herself stopped at the edge of the walkway, glancing around at the flora the guarden held for a moment, partly lost in thought and partly because she didn't necessarily want to interrupt. She watched as the young other young woman with striking copper colored hair bowed, and confusion flashed through the violet of her eyes. Was she supposed to bow? She'd never done that with Kynn.

She felt as the presence attached to her, the ghost that was still bound to her soul, seemed to laugh playfully at her cluelessness, the soft sound carried to her ears on the wind. She let out an exasperated sigh, trying to ignore it the best she could.

"You know, if you keep showing up looking like a smuggler, I'll have to send you on supply runs,"

Valery's voice directed at her, pulled her quickly from her thoughts and the pain that had flashed across her face the moment before. She cracked a grin, tugging at the edge of the jacket she was wearing, and shrugged. "Give me a time and place, I'd have it there faster than you can say poodoo," she joked, approaching from her spot in the walkway and giving a small bow, "Doubting my flight skills will get you nowhere, Master Noble."

Azzie then turned her attention to the other girl there with them, curiosity blazed through her amethyst eyes, equally mixed with worry and uncertainty. She took a moment to observe, her strong aura sense giving her a quick understanding of the strength and emotions the other was feeling as well.

Her metallic right hand, which now looked way less ancient than it had when she'd been awoken, rose to rub the back of her head nervously. She quickly regretted the action, though, when the metal clipped across the base of one of her many horns and pulled the skin more forcefully than she would've liked, causing her to yank her hand back. Clearly, she wasn't yet used to the newer layout of the metal prosthetic that encompassed the entirety of that arm from just below the shoulder and onward.

The silence stretched seemed a little bit too long for her liking, her impatience and strong-willed nature getting the better of her.

"Azurine Varek," she said, her Iridonian accent making the name seem less rough than it typically came out, and reached out said right hand to offer, "Call me Azzie."

Anneliese flashed a mischievous little grin at Valery when she asked her if she’d found time to rest and take care of herself. “Oh you know — trying to stay out of trouble — staying busy, that’s for certain.”

Such a loaded statement.

Anneliese listened to Val as her eyes glanced over at the newcomer, her tone familiar with her, Annie’s eyes hinting at the surprise that now overtook her as Azzie called Val her Master. That’s what this was about.

Seems Val had been busy.

As the short silence settled in, Azzie’s voice broke free as she introduced herself. Turning to face her slightly she extended her hand outwards. “Hi Azzie — I’m Anneliese, but you can call me Annie.” Her voice warm and inviting. “So… I guess maybe I’ll just go first?”

Clearing her throat slightly she began to speak — trying her best to stay concise and as to the point as she could as not to talk too long. “I’ve been with the order now for quite sometime now, and I’ve been with Master Noble pretty much the whole time. Before that I lived and trained at the Sliver Rest. I’m almost seventeen, and I like to spend copious amounts of time in Nature.”

Tapping her chin slightly she thought what else to add until she snapped her fingers slightly. “I’m Gurlanin — the last of my clan… and I can phase into a wolf… that tends to catch most people off guard so, just putting it out there.”

Stepping slightly closer to Azzie she leaned into her. “I also think your markings are absolutely beautiful, just like I think we’re going to be best friends.” A warm giggle escaping her lips as a smile once again spread across her face.

Azurine stared in a bit of a wide-eyed wonder when Anneliese grabbed her hand rather quickly and enthusiastically. She had to consciously be careful about the grip she used with this hand, given she had no feeling with the metal alloy, and she didn't quite have a handel on the ins and outs of the grip strength. She had grown used to the one she had before over the few months before her being stuck in stasis, but this one she wasn't yet accustomed to. She just hoped she didn't squeeze too hard.

Annie's aura was quite a sight from her point of view, matching her own in a bright, hot intensity, as if they mirrored each other, the girls emotions a wild mix of excitement and wonder.

Azzie didn't get much of a chance to say anything before the redhead started talking, rather quickly. It was a bit startling for only a second as she got used to the way she was so eager, and for a moment, she was reminded of herself years ago. Back before her entire life had been spun on its head and left her still reeling in the fallout.

Before you dwell on it too much, yes, you were exactly like her. You still are, really.

Kynn's voice echoed in her mind, the gust of wind that followed feeling as if a light squeeze was on her shoulder before it vanished again. She bit her lip and tried not to think about it, giving a quick smile to try to act like nothing was wrong.

Azzie was caught even more off guard the moment her tattoos were mentioned. Her smile faultered, and a quick defiance flashed through her face, expecting the exact opposite of the compliment she had received, until it was squashed by the shock. Her expression softened to confusion, her biological hand that was covered in a single black glove rising to brush across the tattooing on her own cheeks chin, trailing across the small scar that nicked at the bottom of her lip as well.

"Beautiful?" Her voice came out as more of a whisper than she'd expected. Before she could stop herself, she moved forward and wrapped Annie in a hug.

"They're traditional to the Iridonian people, actually. They represent the line of my family clan, the path of the warrior, and the personal call to action I took years ago." she explained, hoping she didn't sound rambly, "I am proud to display them, even if I'm the last of my clan."

Kynn's right ... I am exactly like her.

She pulled away, hoping she hadn't overstepped any boundaries. Though her violet eyes sparkled with a fire of joy she hadn't felt in a while, she found herself wondering what to say about herself that wouldn't be out of place. "I uh ... we didn't have an order where-" she paused before deciding to correct herself, "when I came from. It's ... a long story, really."

She took a moment to center herself, her curiosity winning her over and giving her a distraction other than trying to figure out how to explain how she'd gotten here, "Phaseing? I don't think I understand? Like moving through objects or shapeshifting? If you don't mind me asking, anyway."

As Azzie pulled Annie into a hug, which caught her completely by surprise, a smile which lit up the area beamed from her face… until she uttered the words “last of my clan”. Those words resonated deep with her — sorrow and empathy for her swelling within… they were alike — orphans, alone and without family.

She tightened her embrace on her. She would be family to Azzie. She would be a sister.

As Azzie pulled back and stumbled on her words, explaining her story was a long one, she simply grinned playfully at her. “I’ll tell you mine if you tell yours Azzie.” The sincerity in her voice as her emerald gaze locked with her vibrant violet eyes.

Tilting her head sideways with fascination as Azzie tried to mentally grasp with the term “phasing” she giggled playfully, like a child with a secret. Gesturing to her body she spoke. “My species come from a planet named Qiilura. Phasing is this, primal — transformation into my native form. Phasing can come with complications… mainly modesty when I phase back… as my clothing is typically torn to shreds, which is why I always pack spares. It can be done voluntarily, or if I become emotionally triggered but I’m working on that part. I’d be more than happy at some point to show you.”

Valery watched with a soft smile as Azurine and Anneliese began to connect. She could sense the bond already forming between them — a bond rooted in shared experiences, mutual respect, and a willingness to understand each other's unique journeys. Valery had expected them to find common ground, but the warmth radiating from them as they spoke felt special. It reminded her of how important these relationships were for Jedi, who often faced so much alone.

When Anneliese's embrace tightened and she spoke about being the last of her own clan, Valery's heart ached for both of them. There was a strength that came from enduring loss, but it could also leave scars that never fully healed. That pain, however, was often what made Jedi like Azurine and Anneliese resilient and capable of forming such deep connections.

As the conversation shifted to Anneliese's unique ability to phase, Valery held back, listening with genuine interest. It was clear that Azurine was curious, and Anneliese's explanation brought a playful smile to Valery's lips. Watching the two interact, she could see that they both had an openness and energy that would allow them to grow together — a spark that could become a source of support and strength for them both.

When a natural pause settled between them, Valery finally stepped forward again. "It's truly amazing to see the two of you connecting like this. You have so much to offer each other," she said, her tone warm and encouraging. "I'm so proud of both of you for being open and willing to share. Don't ever forget that you can lean on each other and on me whenever you need to."

"We're a team, the three of us."

Azurine listened intently, almost hanging onto Anneliese's every word about the details of this ability of hers from her people. She'd never heard of anything like it before, but she'd only interacted with certain parts of the galaxy after all. "That's so cool! What does that mean then, native form? Is this not it? How does it connect to your people to the world?"

In spouting off questions in a near rapid fire, she almost forgot that she really hadn't said much about the aspect of her life that might throw people off guard if not brought up quickly. She knew she was going to have to just rip the bandaid off now.

"Well, I guess I can start with the fact that technically, I'm 920 years old if you count the nine centuries that I was in stasis. Closer to 921."

That was one way to begin this story, and Azzie looked for any sign in Anneliese's expression that might tell her she needed to stop there or show any major discomfort.

"I don't know how much you know about that time, but where I came from, the Jedi Order had been wiped out by the first Empire. The few that remained were in hiding and being actively killed. My planet was forcefully occupied, my clan murdered. I eventually became a member of a group that would go on to form a cell of the Rebel Alliance," she explained as carefully as she could, though for her the memory of those days felt like yesterday when in fact it had been 900 years. There were so many details, so many things she glossed over in her summary, but to give everything could take a while. She also didn't know how ready she was to spill such details without being asked about them. Her hands shook a little bit, but she did her best to hide it behind a playful smile.

Even now, this was still a little bit rough on her. The grief was still fresh, like a festering wound that needed to be cleaned out every so often before it could truly begin to heal.

Then Valery spoke up again, and she turned her attention to their master, a grateful smile plastered onto her face. The two of them just made the load of overwhelm that came with how changed the galaxy was and how much she had lost a tad bit lighter.

"Thank you, Master," she spoke softly and turned to wrap both of them into a group hug, chuckling to herself while she did so.

It can get easier, it will.

Yeah, I really hope so ...

Nine hundred years… old?

Her emerald eyes beamed with curiosity as she stared and looked Azzie over.

Damn — she was the best looking nine hundred year old she’d ever seen.

Impresssive.

Valerys voice chimed in however and broke up the conversation between the young ladies — her reassuring words only furthering to create and cultivate the importance this bond would have and bring to both of them, to them all. Then… she gave her normal but perfectly delivered mom speech, Annie’s stomach churning with hidden guilt.

“I'm so proud of both of you for being open and willing to share. Don't ever forget that you can lean on each other and on me whenever you need to. We're a team, the three of us."

A team… a family — and family didn’t hide things from one another.

Her form shrank slightly as she got quiet… taking a few steps back, her hand moving up and rubbing the side of her arm in a partial embrace. Her emerald eyes looked towards the ground as her demeanor shifted and became isolated, like a child hiding from something she’d done wrong.

Her heart hammered in her chest, her cheeks burned red.

Taking a deep breath she looked up and at Val as her mouth began to move on its own, vomiting the words that had built up inside of her.

“I lied on my mission report after I came back from my personal trip. I went to my home planet with Roman. I… woke something.”

She turned around as she lifted her shirt up and revealed the branded bleeding crescent moon mark on her back, her voice shaky and uneven. Continuing to regal the events that had befallen her, she explained of her encounter with this entity, how it had feasted — preyed on her bloodline, of the foretelling of one that would defeat it… and how it was now after her.

“Then I stumbled on some guy that says he knows you and I may have trained with him some because he said he could help me… but I didn’t do anything bad, but I felt like I was lying.”

As if she hadn’t already dumped enough wood in the fire she was building, she then poured gasoline onto it. The bombshell came out as she held her left hand up.

“I love somebody — and he proposed to me… I said yes.” Well — a promise ring… but still a proposal none the less.

Silence as her breathing stopped.

Cora her mind thought — you’d better have been right about Val not being overly mad… but maybe her delivery of how she’d revealed this could have been done just a little bit better.

Valery blinked in surprise as Anneliese's confession tumbled out. The weight of her words, especially about awakening something dangerous and hiding the truth, hit harder than Valery had anticipated. But even more unexpected was the revelation about Roman and the proposal.

For a moment, Valery remained silent, her expression shifting between concern, shock, and something softer. But when Anneliese lifted her shirt, revealing the mark on her back, Valery's brow furrowed deeply.

She stepped closer, her hand resting gently on Anneliese's shoulder. "Annie..." she began, her voice steady but carrying a gentle undertone of concern. "I wish you had told me about this sooner. I'm not upset, but this... this is serious."

Valery's gaze briefly flickered to the mark before she sighed softly. "Whatever you awakened, we need to deal with it — together. You should never feel like you have to face something like this alone...." Valery trailed off, her mind already processing how they might approach this new danger.

Her voice softened as she continued, "As for your relationship with Roman... I'm happy for you. Love is not something to be hidden or ashamed of, but it's important to remember your path as a Jedi. Balance is key. I didn't meet my husband until I was much older, and things have happened that could have caused problems. You're younger and less experienced, so it's important that you don't keep these things a secret, so others can always help you."

Valery's expression brightened slightly as she added, "So, I'm not mad, Annie. But from now on, I need you to trust me, okay? You don't have to carry these burdens alone."

Her gaze then shifted between Azurine and Anneliese, a small smile tugging at her lips. "We're all in this together, remember?"

She could feel heat emanating from her cheeks as the three of them stood in silence. Val -- someone she'd trusted with her life, and now embarrassment setting in as she looked at Azzie, with a hurt and broken gaze, she must of thought the worst of her now.

Some first meeting.

As Val stepped closer and put her hand on her, she felt her own heart relax, the tension that had been all over her body now relaxing as tears welled up in her eyes. She'd been so proud when Roman asked her what he did, but the looming shadow of what had transpired loomed over everything and caused only pause and hesitation to set in... and now listening to Val comfort her, and give far more grace than she deserved, her hand came up and latched onto Val's as her emerald eyes teared up.

A small whimper and nod escaping her lips as she rested her cheek onto both of their hands.

"I know I should have told you... god, I'm so stupid... but I knew you were busy and I thought I would just be a burden...." A sigh of frustration escaping her lips as she kept her gaze fixed with Val. "I didn't mean to disappoint you."

As Val transistioned the conversation to Roman and her, her heart fluttered in response to her support and acceptance of what had happened -- it brought her joy unending. It felt as if somehow she'd received the seal of approval from a Mother. "It started slow... and then things happened and it all fell perfectly into place. He supports me, in the good and the bad. He is kind, thoughtful, strong -- he is the part of me that makes me whole... in my heart, i know that I know... does that make sense?"

However, the words of the entirety of the conversation that hit her the hardest, where what she said last.

"I need you to trust me."

She felt mortified, she felt she'd crossed some line and somehow her actions had caused Val pain, pain from assuming Annie didn't fully, inexplicably trust her. Her voice cracked slightly as she looked at Val. "I - I do trust you." The words coming out soft as he held her head down, her eyes looking over at Azzie. "I'm sorry, I made this into something about me and that was selfish..." Looking over, her cheeks red and her eyes filled with dejection, she spoke. "I'm sorry Azzie."

Azurine stood there in silence, watching as what had been so lighthearted seemed to spiral before her eyes. She took a small step backward, glancing between the two, until her eyes were drawn instantly to the branded moon on Annie's back, and her eyes went wide. What the heck could have caused that? And why? She opened her mouth to ask, her curiosity almost getting the better of her, until the redhead continued her long list of confessions, and she quickly closed it again. She didn't necessarily know what to do, her expression flashing with concern as well as confusion and a bit of awkwardness. Part of her felt as though she was intruding on a moment that should have been private, like she was eavesdropping a conversation that was not hers to be part of.

Then she spoke about love ... proposal even, and she raised an eyebrow in confusion. From what she could tell, Annie couldn't be more than 16 or 17 years old. Proposal felt like a bit ... much? She wasn't going to say anything about that, though. Even then, it struck her heart more than she would have wanted. She couldn't help but think how lucky she was to have found someone. Her gaze faultered and dropped to the ground.

She was pulled from her thoughts when Valery finally addressed everything that had been said. Valery was right, though, and she'd said it before she herself had the chance to do so. They were a team. "Hey, you don't have to take on whatever it is on your own. You'll always have me to back you up, you hear?" she said with a grin and a quick wink. She had no idea what the situation was, but it didn't matter. They were in this together now, whatever the weather may bring. She'd always wanted a little sister after all.

She was caught completely off guard when Anneliese turned her attention to her and started ... apologizing? "You don't need to apologize. I would have heard about this eventually, so now is as good a time as any." she said, flashing a grin, quickly turning it around to make a joke, "I better be on your list of bridesmaid choices someday, though."

Azzie sighed quickly to herself and rubbed the back of her neck nervously. She had hoped to save this for a different time, as in she had planned to wait until there was a moment alone, but at this point, she didn't want Annie to feel like she was alone in this situation. "Well, if we're being open ... I was planning to tell you when I saw you anyway, but uh ... I might have borrowed one of the fighters from the Coruscant temple. Nothing happened, I promise. I just took it around the upper atmosphere a bit, brought it right back, and I only did it to help Katherine ... but it was definitely kind of stupid, and I'm sorry."

Valery's expression softened as she listened to Anneliese's tearful words and watched the emotions unfold between both her and Azurine. The vulnerability in the air was palpable, and Valery's heart ached for Anneliese, feeling the weight of her guilt and the relief from the confessions she was finally releasing. When Anneliese latched onto Valery's hand, her grip tightened, offering silent reassurance.

"Annie, you could never disappoint me. I know you were trying to protect everyone, but you no longer have to carry that burden. We'll handle this, together."

Her voice was tender, but there was no mistaking the strength and determination behind her words. She gave a comforting smile and looked at Azurine when she spoke up, appreciating her bridesmaid joke. The mood seemed to lighten briefly, and Valery chuckled softly, shaking her head at the idea of Anneliese's future wedding.

"Azurine's right, we're a team, and we're here for you, no matter what comes next."

But as the topic shifted to Azurine's confession about borrowing the fighter, Valery's eyebrows arched in surprise. A flicker of amusement crossed her face, but she also narrowed her eyes slightly in mock disapproval.

"Well," Valery said, her voice teasing but with a slight edge of seriousness. "I hope you're not planning on making that a habit, especially if it was without permission. You're lucky you didn't get into trouble."

She sighed playfully, then let her tone soften again as she addressed both young women. "But it's alright. We all make mistakes. What matters is that we trust each other and face the consequences together." She offered a warm smile and pulled Anneliese into a gentle hug before reaching out to squeeze Azurine's shoulder.

"We'll figure everything out, one step at a time."

Meeting

New-divider-Anneliese.png

As a few solitary tears moved down her cheeks -- Anneliese couldn't help but to laugh at Azzies commentary on being a bridesmaid. Moving over slightly, she found herself pulling her into a hug as she squeezed onto her.

Between her and Val -- she'd definitely found her tribe. Strength when she felt her own failed.

This was what family meant to be.

Hearing Azzie then spill her confession about what she'd done, only made another warm giggle escape her lips as the two young ladies stood next to each other -- did Val have her hands full between the two, but Annie knew, there was nobody else she'd rather be under than her.

She was so fething proud to state who her Master was.

As Val spoke on what would come next, Annie took a deep breath, noting that maybe the meeting had taken a hard turn to start with, but she was curious as to what else needed to be spoken of -- with Tython looming in front of them and a variety of things still left unexplored, she looked over at Val.

"Master, was there anything else you'd wanted to mention before I accidentally the spotlight?"
