- Glistaweb is a shimmering, glowing fabric due to the charge generating field that it possess. It is also known to be capable of deflecting blaster fire, very much like the Voondun crab armour of the Vong.
- Shell spider silk is known to provide some form of protection against sharp objects like vibroblades, however in this case the protection is only minute and barely stop anything short of a blade.
A dress specially tailored for Greta, it was designed to be used in non-combat situations where the need for armour was not a requirement. Its main purpose was to be a piece of clothing that she could always count on for a more comfortable option. The materials were all handpicked by her for specific reasons. Glistaweb and Shell spider silks had protective qualities, affording her some very basic form of protection. The Dramassian shimmersilk was used for comfort and the Cyrene silk added to give it a glamorous yet elegant appearance. The Glistaweb and the shell spider silk was then interwoven together with the finest black Cyrene silk that she could find, giving the dress a ravishing shade of obsidian black. The innermost layer was where the Dramassian shimmersilk was used, its extremely soft and smooth properties put to good use for comfort's sake.
Mainly for cosmetic purposes, the clothing was not intended to withstand or take any prolonged damage of any sort, violent or otherwise. In several areas of the dress, layers and stripes of orange-gold coloured silk could be seen adorning the clothing in highlights. Elaborate patterns were also carefully printed on the exterior surface of the material, enhancing its appearance as well as making it look classier.
