- Armament: The Grierson has no weapons to speak of making it unable to defend itself.
The Grierson-class is the next step for Primo Victorian’s medical fleet, this cruiser would not only act as a mobile hospital. It would also serve as a mobile rescue base, where first responders and rescue personnel can deploy wherever needed as quickly as possible. The unique hollow center in the cruiser serves to allow vessels easy access to various hangars, emergency ambulatory, patient transport, and rapid response.
The ship has nothing in the way of armament but does carry with it six combat squadrons so that it can defend itself if caught in the middle of an active warzone. It’s high defensive rating gives the Grierson a greater chance to handle any hits it might endure in the aforementioned active warzone. Equipped with a Sublight Acceleration Motor, the Greirson is able to quickly get out of active warzones. Power from the ship’s maneuverability is moved to the ship’s speed giving it a high rating versus its average rating.
Overall the medical cruiser’s performance will determine whether or not the shipwright will push for a higher production level. The hope is that the ships could be moved into service with non-profit organizations and medical-oriented services for various nations.
