- Powerpack option - Provides an abundance of ammo.
- High fire rate - This weapon is used to lay down blankets of deadly blaster fire, accuracy be damned.
- Weight - even without the powerpack, wielding this item can prove to be exhausting after a short period of time.
- Recoil - Due to its heavy rate of fire, this weapon's recoil and accuracy suffers the longer the burst.
- Ammo waster - The weapon can easily run out of ammo quickly. Due to its high rate of fire and the psychological effect of not pausing to reload (for powerpack users), the operator can quickly forget what it means to reload in combat. Thereby wasting their ammo very quickly.
Used by the Czelosmertian army and special forces, the Grinkov heavy blaster repeater was favored by men who wanted to get up close and personal and lay down enormous amounts of suppressive fire in a short amount of time. The Grinkov did what it was good for, keeping enemies heads down and making them think twice about getting back up to shoot. But, if a group of enemies were caught out in the open with this weapons system within range, they wasn't much hope for them.
