Intent: To create the next line of Combat Gloves for the board
Development Thread: If needed
Manufacturer: Justice Munitions
Model: Grip-Ex Combat Gloves
Affiliation: Open Market
Modularity: moderate; aesthetics may be customized to user’s preference, a wrist slot exists on each glove
Production: Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Durasteel, electromagnetic coils, sensor parts
Description:
Strengths:
++What a grip: the electromagnetic coils on the palm make losing an object these gloves are holding pretty difficult to drop and harder for a Force-user to pull from your fingers. While the target market are blasters and vibro-blades, this also could include speeders, tools, ships, and so on.
++Increased accuracy: While these will certainly not make you a marksman or a savant bladesman magically, users to report a higher efficiency in using their weapons—and a higher rate of satisfaction on the damage dealt.
++Armor Add-on: For sets of armor that have modularity, if the owner desires, they could easily work these into their armor.
++Cooless: That’s a strength right? Cause I think they look pretty boss.

Weaknesses:
--Doesn’t work on wood: Grip-Ex Combat gloves have a claim to magnetic material. Wood-handled weapons, other organic matter (such as beings, bricks, or player characters unless they are wearing metal armor) are immune to the effects of this piece of equipment.
--No damage reduction: While these gloves can withstand the off-handed glancing knife blow, a blaster’s grazing shot, or the like, they are not going to reduce damage to the character’s hands. These gloves just do as they are marketed; electromagnetic coils that increase a character’s grip on metallic objects.

Features:
--Environmentally sealed.
--Electromagnetic coils along the palm and fingers to grip metallic objects
--Sensors to detect the movement of the hand and control the electromagnetic coils
--Wrist mount holds an object that is up to .75 kg or less in weight. (Default left: electromagnetic grapple hook right: dart launcher. A few of the options include vibro knuckles, shock batons, hold out blasters, holoprojectors, or commlink units)

James Justice wanted to make a set of gauntlets that were unlike any other. He noticed a distinct lack in all-purpose, general use combat gloves. In addition, he was convinced that clumsiness was a real problem in this modern world. To combat butter fingers on the battle field, he commissioned the Grip-Ex combat gloves. The sensor mesh along the interior of the glove keeps close tabs on the movement’s of the player hands and nervous system to activate and deactivate the Grip-Ex Glove’s electromagnetic coils. The added benefit is an increased difficulty in Force Users using the “pull the blaster from your hand” as featured on Vader Monthly and Jedi Weekly.
