If yall are willing to make a contract with a Mandalorian company, even if it is neutral affiliated, then WESTAR has some stuff. I will provide the link below and I am willing to have any custom stuff yall want be made through WESTAR until we get a faction company running.

I have no problem using WESTAR if we run custom stuff like the three basic items I linked potential images for.

In this rebuild I am looking at two things in regards to this.

1. Uniformity. I would like everyone to be using the same stuff with only minor things like color differentiating individual units armor wise.

2. Less is More: I would rather not put a great deal of effort into a dozen different "options" most of which will never get used. I would rather have a few options that everyone uses practically all the time.


However of course I am open to dissenting opinions.

Aside from the canon pistols, it is sort of what I did with WESTAR stuff. The only reason there are 2 rotary blasters is because they fill 2 completely different roles. So I get what you are saying and agree. The only difference would be on attachments. Those things allow for a lot of versatility on armors and give commandos stuff to play with.

Versatle attachments on weapons is great. You know scopes, under barrel stun/grenade, and other such stuff.

Armor wise since we are not Mandalorians I don't foresee the need to have a bunch of gizmos. Protection, carry capacity for ammo/grenades/stuncuffs, HUD components being pretty much it.

Taking a Commando approach this early is counter productive to the goal. Again opinion but the most difficult part about the NFU ground game in GR was the idea that everyone was able to create their own "Commando" and do their own thing instead of working together. If possible I would like to avoid that.


The idea I have which will make more sense come structure establishment time involves people working together but still being able to add their own flair. Honestly Commandos are not part of that structure or idea.
