The Fire Reveals All
Ground Forces (Army)
"We don’t need armies. We need people who refuse to give in. That’s how we win." — Commander Jalyn Korr, Ground Forces
Holding the Line, Breaking the Chains.
The Foundation's ground forces operate in a highly unconventional manner, focusing on sabotage, ambushes, and insurgency tactics rather than open battlefield engagements. Composed of defected soldiers, planetary militias, guerrilla fighters, and volunteers, they operate within occupied territories and specialize in striking at enemy supply lines, disrupting infrastructure, and rallying local populations to the cause.
Within this division, elite strike teams specialize in high-risk operations—assassinations, demolitions, and counter-insurgency warfare. When key planets or territories are liberated, these forces work to train new recruits, establish defenses, and ensure that freedom is not just won but sustained.
Ground forces are divided into three primary groups:
- Liberation Forces: Large-scale resistance groups that engage in direct combat, often working alongside local militias.
- Special Operations Teams: Elite strike units that operate behind enemy lines, conducting assassinations, demolitions, and high-risk extraction missions.
- Mercenary Battalions: Contracted shock troops and combat specialists.
