Well howdy I guess. I’m The One and Only, or Thanos depending on what you want to call me. I’ve been looking for a good Star Wars RP for a while now, and feel like this place, while huge, would be a great community to participate in. I do have a single question as of now however. What are some of the best factions for a new person here to join?

well it depends on what type of character you want to write. Obviously a Jedi is going to work better in a Jedi faction.

If you are open to anything I’d recommend The Confederacy of Independent Systems. The staff is friendly and tries to include you, which you don’t always get elsewhere. So as a new person it’s easier to break in there. But honestly I think all of our factions have their good qualities. It’s just about what you want.

I strongly recommend the Bryn'adul. Our previous leader often compared his character to Thanos when it came to fights. We are a Genocidal covenant of aliens intent on destroying everything that isn't us. Normally I'd send a PM with more info but I'm a bit busy at the moment.

A few key points:

*We are the 2nd largest faction
*We are 200% homebrew
*We have a very good record in invasions
*We have the smallest writing base of any Major faction right now.
*Choose from Drael (Aerevalin, Sraelvun, Baedurin), Vaydralen, Ungulloi, or Ahkenaton...each with unique traits, strengths, and weaknesses
*Join a sect of the military, from the Frontline Force wielding commanders called Warlocks, to the beast taming Shaman, to the elite Zealots...

I second this. Depending on the character you wanna write, the factions that will fit said character will be different. If you wanna jump straight into the really big faction threads, you could narrow your search down to the major factions (don't discount those minor factions though, there's some cool stuff out there). You'll likely end up eventually spreading out across multiple factions if you end up writing more than one character (I know I certainly did). If you have a character idea in mind, feel free to shoot me a PM and I can help ya out with narrowing down the search a bit
