Lurcano Car'dann
"Kark you, I won't do what you tell me."
Lurcano couldn't help but pace back and forth, as he took a drink so that he could calm his nerves. Lurcano usually wasn't one to get hung up over such things, but this was definitely a big deal to him. Traditionally, Lurcano never considered himself to be someone that was easily starstruck. But he would be lying to himself if he claimed this wasn't a big deal to him.
Maybe the reasons for his nervousness were a bit peculiar, but that didn't change his feelings towards this fight. He wanted to impresses this man, because of the things he'd heard. 'This might just be my chance for something better. As long as I win anyway. I've got to win for sure.' Lurcano took another deep breath as he continued to pace back and forth.
Finally he jumped over the railing that separated the fight pit from the spectator stands. He stepped into the middle of the ring and stretched his achy muscles. Whatever happened in the fight to come, he would be ready for the worst and he would be sure to give back just as good as he got and then some.
