What is the Brotherhood of the Maw? We represent the spiritual successors to the Nihil of the High Republic and the collection of many Dark Side tropes gathered together to form an active confederation of wasteland warlords, marauders, and zealous cultists bent on burning down the galaxy. Our members are focused on the directive of providing unique, new storylines and fun opposition to the galaxy at large. Why do we do it? Simple, the galaxy must be wiped clean so it can begin anew, under the influence of the 'Hidden Maw' or the Dark side of the Force as you call it. We are as of this moment the only Chaotic Evil faction on the board and strive to write only the best of stories with our collaborators, thus without further adieu I present our guide to the Brotherhoood of the Maw.

Marauders, Raiders, and Slave-Soldiers oh my!

The bedrock upon which the Brotherhood stands, the mighty hordes of warriors from the darkest corners of the Unknown Regions gathered under one roof, one banner. These warriors are the legacy left behind by the Nihil, followers of the Scripture of the Hidden Maw, the holy text and code by which they live. Slavery and murder are encouraged among believers as the weak are punished by the strong, they live a life of savagery and utter violence. Such is the life of a raider, born among the masses of the Holy City, or convert to the religion by induction into the Brotherhood. To these warriors the galaxy must be purged of weakness and be reforged in the fires of conquest to bring true freedom and spiritual nirvana. This is the code by which they all follow, yet not all blindly follow the words of their prophets in religious zealotry as one would believe.

Slave-Soliders, the spiritually broken and ranks replenished. Captured and tormented, these wretched creatures are repurposed to fight for those who claimed them from the very worlds they razed. Brainwashed, tortured, and repurposed for war. The Taskmaster converts even the mightiest of wills to do the work of the Heathen Priests, such is the way of the Brotherhood as they turn their wretched war machine with the blood and sweat of the conquered.

Warlords of the Hidden Maw

Lords and ladies who hold dominion over the Brotherhood of the Maw, commanders and tribal chieftains of the raiders who stand at the ready to pillage in their masters' names. These are the movers and shakers of the confederation, deciding the action of the fleet as they pursue their dark crusade across the stars. They along claim the spoilers left behind from the conquest of nations, they along dictate the future of inducted into the Brotherhood's ranks. Making up the top brass of the loose confederation, these warlords convene amongst each other under the guiding hand of the Heathen Priests, make war upon who they wish and take what they want, when they want.

Build your own tribe, take part in the ruling of the masses, and hold dominion over your own portion of the armada as it moves from system to system burning down the galaxy. When the time comes, when there is nothing left to destroy, you will be among the first to rule the new galaxy.

Woe to the conquered, it's good to be the king.

Pagans, sorcerers, followers of the Dark Side. Such is the Heathen Priests, such is the word of the Scripture, that the Maw begat three divine aspects of itself from which to experience the galaxy.

The Avatar of War, proud and vain. Ambitious conqueror.

The Avatar of Death, cold and distant. Neutral, equal to all.

The Avatar of Rebirth, chainless and alive. Bringer of freedom.

It was these three that set upon themselves to correct the natural order and bring the galaxy to the Netherworld where it would be reborn in paradise. Their birth formed the cluster of black holes that would become known as the Maw cluster. Many attempt have been made to link them to the Mortis Gods known as 'the Ones', yet very few similarities have been found. What is known is that 'the Maw' itself represents Bogan, the Dark Side of the Force from which this cult believes will provide the way to break all chains. They direct the great crusade and maintain the religion, keeping a firm grip over the masses through the power of the Dark Side.

Whether you are a Sith, Dark Jedi, or simply an adherent of the Dark Side, the Heathen Priesthood is the place for you.

Last but not least, from the shadows of fate come the return of the darkness. From broken empires and shattered promises they rise. Casting off the yoke of their predecessors, returning to their true roles, reclaiming their place among legend returns the Knights of Ren. Led by the infamous Kyrel Ren , a new generation of Knights rise under the philosophy of 'the Ren'. Taking to the stars, the dark warriors aid the Brotherhood in their quest to purge the galaxy in order to bring about a new order under the influence of the Dark side of the Force. Savage warriors clad in Onyx armor, the Knights of Ren utilize unconventional weaponry to dispatch their prey and collect pieces of armor as trophies to add to their own in momento.

Return to a time when the Knights of Ren were edgy and feared, a time when they were legendary across the Unknown Regions and not simply henchmen for the Emperor. Build your legend and carve out a new destiny for the Knights as you fight to destroy both the Jedi Order and the Sith.
