Public Gun for hire

Location: Nar Shaddaa

Ata Jairt is sitting in a cantina looking for a new job so she can get off this miserable rock. She checks the bounty board and nothing of interest catches her eye.

"Of course, as soon as I try to strike it on my own there isn't a single good job out there for me..."

To say she was tired was an understatement. Not physically, mentally, she just felt drained. Gandra sat within the cantina, drink in hand, as she studied the room. She needed someone to start her new project with, but who exactly? Being a hunter herself, she knew all too well how hard it was to bring people into a job; especially if you planned on not being screwed in the process. Seeing a young hunter eyeing up the bounty boards, she moved on up, overhearing them speaking of their woes. A smirk crossed the Togruta's face, as she nudged the side of their arm. "You looking for a job? Because just so happens, I could use another set of hands." She spoke, unsure if she was wasting her time, or if this new blood was going to take the offer.
She knew all too well how hard it was to start off fresh.

The new hunter looks back at the Togruta and tilts her head. At this rate she'll almost take any shop since she's so desperate to leave Nar Shaddaa.

"How about you tell me the details of this job of yours? See if it's truly worth it or if you're going to screw me over with some suicide mission."

That was the reaction she was looking for. Not wearing her armor, Gandra eyes the huntress up, nodding slowly. This one was full of fire, ready to get the show on the road. Very green. “Slow down there hot stuff. I don’t even have a name for you, can’t have you racing off without knowing who I need to write this check for.” She snickered, leaning back from the gun for hire.
“I do have a job, dangerous one, right here on Nar Shaddaa. But I can’t just lead you by the hand without getting the scoop on you. I’m Gandra, and you are?” She asked, motioning with her hand towards the woman. This one needed to be brushed up on the manners of Bounty hunting, or they were going to get in a world of trouble.

She reached out to Gandra and shook her hand, a slight smile cracked on her face. A mandolorian style helmet is being held in her other hand.

"The name is Ata Jairt, and I'm looking to get off of this blasted planet and maybe make a name for myself. And you are?"

Taking the woman’s hand and shaking it, Gandra eyes the young woman before her, studying her throughly. Mandalorian, or stolen armor? It was a toss up really, she wasn’t going to find out right here and now though. “Eager aren’t you? That’s good, but learn to control it or it’ll get you killed. Free advice.” She slapped the woman’s shoulder pad, nodding over to a booth in the corner as she’d lead the way.
If Ata joined her, sitting down she’d open up a bit about the job in question. “I’m hunting Trandoshan slavers. They’re trading off some slaves here, and I’m planning to nip it. You help me, I’ll give you a cut and take you off world free of charge. That get your attention, Ata?”
Hopefully it was. She wasn’t exactly made of credits here.

"Fine...you have my attention and I'll join you. A couple lizards can't be too tough. How many are we talking anyway? A whole clan or something? If so then we'll have to be careful with just the two of us..."

She smirked and put on her helmet, and put one hand on a holster holding an old clone era blaster.

"Any other info you got on this job?"

She narrowed her eyes at the woman, head tilting to the side. She was fully of herself, that was true, but arrogance lead to disaster more times than not. Though Trandoshans were among her least favorite species, she wasn’t about to have this greenhorn get taken out because she got cocky. “Twenty, and don’t take them lightly. They’re hardened slavers, armed with heavy repeaters and carbines, battle armor, not some mugger with a vibro-knife.”
She watched the woman slide her helmet on, drawing her pistol. Gandra sighed, shaking her head. “I need the leader alive, rest are expendable, and I hope you’re as good as your attitude hints at.” She rubbed her montrail, wondering if she’d need to bring a medical pack for this woman alone.
