Gunslinger Blues

Deep Space- Somewhere between Coruscant and Aldeeran

No matter where you went in the galaxy there were always a few universal truths about the ways the wheels of war turned. One of them being, that when your back is against a wall, and all that stands between you and annihilation is a very thin wall, you will do what you need to survive.

Or you will perish.

That's when high minded ethics tended to get spaced.

A growing movement within Imperial occupied space had broken that wall, making deals with a few known Underworld figures who Imperial Intelligence had deemed it necessary to observe. After a few interrogations times and locations were given. Max was called and given liberty to hire a contractor to assist him in the "heavy work" on the way. They were to follow the rebels to their sources, the ones who supplied them with weapins, and do what command deemed necessary. It'd set a good example among criminal types that they shouldn't deal with rebs and make the insurgents think twice.

The wait was absolutely maddening.

The ship offered little escape as they followed the route laid before them in a junker.

Eziekel sat in the ship opposite the Imperial agent who had hired him. Out of all the people they could have chosen for this job it was him. Eziekel knew that it would probably be a assignment against the Republic or the Rebels, he was fine with this, he didn't really like the Rebels or Republic to much. Most of the groups on their side had that 'we do good things' attitude that pissed him off so much. Eziekel looked around the room they were in, then looked back at the Imperial Agent.

"Well..." Eziekel began "This ship is cozy isn't it" he wanted to break the ice, if he was going to work with this guy he knew that there had to be a certain level of trust between them. "I guess we're going to be on this junker for a little while, I know a little bit about this misson, just what the other Imperial told me before we left. Is there any little details you think I should know?"

@Ezekiel

"Only that we'll be killing a lot of people before the week is out, which according to your file you'll have no qualms about." Max said as he leaned back in his pilot's chair.

"If you haven't familiarised yourself with the blueprints you'll wanna do that. Their hole has a few places that'll be hairy."
