A single missile from this weapon model is inefficient and inherently weak, it is flawed, it is poor in design, and the destruction capability from which the SAPAS possesses is laughable by all military minds and weapon designers. What the missile lacks in singular damage, it makes up within the blanketing effect it is most commonly used with and intended to be used with. SAPAS-80 is not a missile that is intended to be a one-shot, one-kill tool of war, no. The instrument was created to be used in large numbers, ranging anywhere from twelve covering an area to fifty blanketing an area in unparalleled destructive capability with an inherent powerlessness instilled into those who are caught within the cross-fire. The amount of Swarm Missiles launched at one time depends solely on the launcher being used to fire it.
- An inherently strange design feature of the SAPAS-80 Swarm Missile is its flexsteel wings which extend outwards from its metal missile tube after being launched. Although appearing physically useless, these wings are an essential part of the SAPAS-80. Under all circumstances, the missile is intended to launch from a launcher into the air above. From there, the missile auto-ordinance, auto-detection system takes control and selects the nearest target to it before propelling its metal body forwards by a solid-fuel propulsion system and an aerodynamic wing system to carry it forwards.
