- Combines Geonosian sonic technology with small arms. Unlike other sonic weapons, Geonosian sonic technology not only causes damage to the hearing but also to the body. In other words sonic dampeners will only protect someone so far before rippling ultrasonic shockwaves have their way. Its science! The weapon is capable of rupturing internal organs, shattering bone and even causing death. ((This weapon will never be able to kill a PC without writer permission))

For ages the Geonosians have kept their sonic blaster technology tailored only to their own species. Not anymore. It was on a fine evening that PW-3PX was tasked with the assassination of several Geonosian scientist based out of a lab on Yavin IV. A lab set in the environment of a cave, of all places. So uncivilized. The flying roaches were easily dispatched with haste and examined for additional biological studies. The more PW knew the better. It was here in his primitive cave now covered in green gibs of meat and blood that the droid discovered Geonosian sonic weaponry and how interesting its effects were on biological and non-biological matter! The corpses of the Geonosians made excellent test subjects to further demonstrate. Each shot consisted of high intensity sonic and concussive forces, all condensed down and placed into a containment field. When the field broke, which seemed to be at the slightest touch then all that energy inside would blast out in every direction with a bang. A mere Further results on the corpses were rupturing of internal organs, internal bleeding, exploded ear drums and physical damage the even touched bone. The interior structure of the bugs anatomy had been shattered apon initial impact. Stealing a single Sonic carbine and taking it back to PW's own vessel the droid quick reverse engineered the weapon into something more suitable for his structural make up and shape. A pistol.
And thus the GX-3 Sonic Hammer was made! Powered by the same energy source as its makers on body. Isotope-5. A compound that significantly boosted the effects of the GX-3 Sonic Hammer and now made it capable of firing indefinitely granted there was a recharge time. After thirty shots the weapon required time to recharge and build up energy before another thirty shots could be fired. This process in total took on average of fifth-teen seconds. A worth time frame for a very destructive weapon and a destructive weapon it indeed is. If the inner Isotope-5 Powercell would ever become damaged then the entire weapon could explode.
