- Thrusters will immediately fire up after they are dropped, gaining speeds up of to insert on their way to the surface.
- When the bomb impacts the surface it creates seismic eruptions, shaking the ground violently and potentially whatever is standing on it.
- Once the bomb gains full speed it is almost physically impossible to stop it. It will take a skilled force user to manage to even slow it down.
- The bomb releases sonic waves when it impacts, and when it combines with the seismic entry it can send the earthquake like affect to a maximum of 2,500 ft. radius.
- If you are standing right next to the bomb when it hits (50 ft. radius) you could receive mind-shattering headaches and pain from the sonic noise.
- Thrusters let off a lot of bright light, so you can easily see them coming from many miles away.
- The bomb is vulnerable to be shot down when the thrusters are still gaining speed.
- Due to their large size, only two bombs can be carried in starfighters (Most commonly used by Y-Wings.)
- If the bomb were to hit a ship or large structure the seismic and sonic effect will only spread to the ship, and will not affect the ground at all.
- These bombs are useless if fired in space.
DESCRIPTION
Created to help the Silver Jedi Concord with ongoing wars, the H.C.T.B. is meant to give them the edge in ground assault. When this bomb is dropped out of a starship, it's thrusters then engage, sending it on a collision course with the enemy. If the bomb were to reach full speed it is very hard to stop it, as the outer coating of Neuramnium helps keep the bomb shielding on it's way down.
Once the bomb impacts the ground it releases sonic wave so powerful that when mixed with the force of the impact can literally shatter and ground, causing many earthquakes. The sonic waves rip across the battlefield, helping the ground continue to shatter. The affect of the shattering will wear down over distance. Where the bomb hit could throwing soldiers a few feet up into the air, while it's maximum distance (2,500 ft.) you will barely see pebbles rumble on the ground.
Due to its main function relying on the speed of the impact, these bombs can not be dropped in space. The thrusters are not powerful enough to guide the bomb onto enemy spacecraft. This is only meant for ground assault.
