Description:
The H&H Retaliator can function as a modernized version of the older FWG-5 flechette pistol. With a capacity of five flechette pellets, the SP utilizes a, “laser tracking system to tag targets with an electronic homing signature,” thus enabling the flechette pellet to course correct its trajectory. At a distance of three meters from the target, the flechette pellet explodes, releasing a hail of twelve millimeter long flechette darts capable of punching through blast vests and plastoid armor. The flechette darts can be coated with a variety of substances, including a frog-based neurotoxin that can induce a ten minute long paralysis.
The drawback is that each flechette shell is extremely expensive, which is why the Retaliator is usually loaded with a .410 mixed grain scatter shell for dispensing with Force users, or a simple slug.
The design was made to be easy to maintain and, above all else, durable. Take it out into the jungles of Haruun Kal, dump it in a river, bury it in mud. It doesn’t matter. The laser tracking system might not operate, but the gun will.
