(+)Natural Born Slicer: In short, Haden has a gift for getting into a system and making it his vacation home. Its not only years of experience and training, but an innate ability to discern, and some say guess, what the designer, programmer or user of the product was thinking, which allows him to gain access, find data, and wreak havoc and leave a system without a trace.
(+)Melee: Haden is a fit boy, and there is no reluctance on his part to protect himself while doing his work, or dispatch those who prevent him from doing his work. He is good in a close fight, with several forms of martial arts under his belt. Also a good brawler, for a simple down and dirty fights.
(+) Social Graces: Having honed his work as a member of a minor Hapan noble family, Haden has the etiquette to mingle in aristocratic and high-social circles if needed.
(+) Trivial Knowledge: A curious hobby of Haden's is gathering obscure facts has proven mostly useless. But on occasion, Haden's treasure of historical, cultural and scientific facts actually comes in handy.

APPEARANCE:
Following the characteristics of Hapan genetics, Haden is a handsome man with a statuesque appearance. He possesses chiseled features with emerald eyes and cropped brown hair, though Haden does not keep a clean shaven face. He has no tattoos and only a few nondescript scars. In the evenings he often wears a pair of shaded glasses that help him see in low light.
BIOGRAPHY:
Haden's family, Del, were a minor noble house on Hapes. His father was notoriously ambitious and, true to the Hapan aristocracy, had his own machinations in work to gain power and raise his family name to the upper crust of Hapan society. Karak Del, Haden's father, employed many means in his effort to gain rank, not the least of which was utilizing his son's gifts for slicing.
Haden sliced into rival houses' finances, data files, to steal information or to sabotage. He even infiltrated some, directly accessing private systems within the homes of the highest aristocratic families on Hapes. Haden did quite well for his family, keeping suspicion of Del's nefarious acts misdirected for quite some time.
Then House Del crossed the wrong family. A powerful and near-tyrannical family, House Zerek, discovered the schemes of House Del and systematically knocked them down the ladder of nobility rung by rung. Del fled the Hapes Cluster altogether to escape retribution. His family was left with their noble name but little to no influence.
While his skills were very marketable and welcomed anywhere, the noble-born Hapan slicer was not going to work for just any sloppy criminal gang, greedy corporation or starry-eyed movement with a cause. He sought out those who worked as true professionals, those whose were sophisticated and knew how to manipulate the system for their benefit, while making others think it was their idea. He discovered Darkwire.
