Still none knew the threat.

It hardly was clear,
So confusion was expected,
But they did not halt.

Sudden screeches came,
Just ahead wounded dropped,
A shot fired nearby.

The beast had lurked near,
Which was not safe so it was killed,
With very little remorse.

It had to be done,
They did not have to be evil,
They had to wanna live.

An urge to live well,
That's what also guides Val to move,
To get armor he needs.
