- Planet Name: Halo Daar
- Demonym: N/A
- Region: Outer Rim
- System Name: Halo Daar
- System Features: This system includes a sun and moon (similar to the size of Earth's). It's position in comparison to it's sun is relatively far from the sun. Each day on this planet is the span of 76 hours. Each year is the span of 106 days.
- Coordinates: 10,29
- Major Imports: N/A
- Major Exports: There is a large composite of durasteel deep in the ground of the planet.
- Gravity: Standard
- Climate: Halo Daar is cold. The planet is often cold despite the desert. There is also a no precipitation (It does not often rain, snow, or hail). Because of this, there is no natural plant life. Halo Daar is also very filled with desert. It is very barren. There is also much pollution in the air in result of the mines.
- Primary Terrain: Desert
Major Locations:
POPULATION
- Native Species: N/A
- Immigrated Species: Twi'leks, Humans, etc (Most sentient species with high population) (All Deceased)
- Population: Uninhabited (About 8,000 during the Gulag Plague) (About 200 during the mining)
- Demographics: There was a pretty even split between all species who lived on the planet, although with humans being the highest population.
- Primary Languages: Galactic Standard Basic and Huttese
- Culture: Before all of the people on the planet were wiped out, the culture was like the setting of a hospital. The patients waiting to be treated in pain as they waited for their doctors and nurses to help them. Currently there is no culture because no one lives there.
- Government: No government
- Affiliation: N/A
- Wealth: Low (Before everyone died, the only way the hospitals were able to get money were people donating to help treat the Gulag Plague. In result, they had low wealth. Right now there is no one living on the planet so there is still low wealth.)
- Stability: Low (About 65% of the population of the planet before everyone died was infected with the Gulag Plague. The Gulag Plague could easily spread throughout the planet, causing its inevitable demise. It also had no defence, causing it to be an easy target for bad people who might wish to cause harm. It still has a low stability due to there being no life on the planet and it having high pollution.)
- Freedom & Oppression: The planet truly has no government so everyone is free to do as they wish. The only thing stopping everyone from doing so is the illusion of power that the medical staff have. Currently, everyone who visits the planet is free to do whatever they wish because the planet is uninhabited.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
- Military: Is it completely demilitarized.
- Technology: Technologically, they have very advanced medical equipment although that is all. They don't have many weapons, vehicles, etc due to the low wealth. Now, there is still advanced medical equipment scattered around the hospitals although most technology is currently inactive due to the power being out in the facilities.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
- Mining Era: Thousands of years ago, way before the rise of the Gulag Plague, Halo Daar was the home of a small mining colony. They were mining deep into the ground tying to obtain the durasteel deep within the planet. This caused the planet to have large holes miles deep in its surface. It also caused there to be a large amount of pollution in the atmosphere, making the air slightly toxic to breathe. After many, many years of mining the operation had been long since abandoned although the mine still lies where is once was, still with much durasteel within it.
- Post-Mining Era: The pollution died down once the miners left, making the air less toxic to breathe although there was still a high pollution. Throughout this time, the planet was completely empty apart from occasionally people attempting to obtain durasteel from the mine.
- The Rise of the Gulag Plague: A few thousand years later, during the Gulag Plague, a medical institute was attempting to try to treat the Gulag Plague. They decided to try to move the victims of the plague to a more secure location on Halo Daar to help treat the disease in a more secure location with less people in hopes the plague wouldn't be able to spread. The medical institute started to open for donations from numerous types of people throughout the galaxy. They had a surprisingly high amount of credits obtained, enough to make about 5 new hospitals to put on the planet and enough to get enough supplies for each hospital. The plan seemed totally fool proof and the hospitals were open to all with the Gulag Plague.
- Early Gulag Plague Era: When the hospitals first opened up, that was an extremely large amount of patients coming in. More than the hospitals could fit so at last minute there was a sixth building build. It was claimed to be a "hospital" although it was actually a quarantine. It was known that the patients that couldn't be treated at the time couldn't stay in the hospital. They could get everyone sick. They were taken to the quarantine where they would inevitably die. At first in the hospital everything was going well. The disease was well contained, most patients were content, and the deaths were minimal. It seemed like the virus might have actually been able to be treated but that was not the case.
- Mid-Gulag Plague Era: Soon, though, everyone slowly realized that the plague was untreatable. The victims of the plague were not getting any better and it didn't seem like they would get better any time soon. The hospital staff was afraid to give away the truth to the patients so they stayed silent despite the fact that each of the patients were going to die. The only way to stop it from happening was to contain the plague and prevent it from spreading.
- Late Gulag Plague Era: The hospitals tried to prevent the plague from spreading any farther although it failed. Quickly, the disease was spreading to each of the staff. Soon, everyone on the planet was infected and rapid deaths began. One by one, each hospital died. Everyone slowly died until there was no one left. The quarantine was now just a graveyard filled with piles of several corpses. The plague could not be contained or treated and so no one could fight back to prevent this from happening.
- Pre-Current Era: The plague killed everyone on the planet, leaving no one left. Several years, later another mining expedition began at the old abandoned mining site. The polution came back to rip the planet's air apart, causing the air to become very much toxic again. The mining went on for several years and ended up causing the planet to obtain very toxic air once again.
- Current Era: No one lives there today due to the lack of any life on the planet and the large amounts of pollution. It remains uninhabited to this day. The only visitors to the planet are the occasional scavengers attempting to get a hold of the durasteel, advanced medical equipment, etc.
