The Hammerfist-class Cruiser, also known as the Hammerfist-class Star Destroyer, was a warship designed for planetary defense, planetary assault, troop transport, and ship-to-ship combat. It was produced by Iron Wrath Industries, and saw use as part of the Iron Imperial Navy.
The Hammerfist was amongst the most powerful of cruisers, deployed by the Iron Empire. Brimming with weaponry, and boasting a strong defense, the cruiser was as its namesake: A hammer, used to crush opposition. However, like its namesake, it was inelegant. A slow, and cumbersome, vessel. Additionally, it lacked the ability to house a contingent of starfighters. This meant that without the support of carriers, or other vessels who could accommodate starfighters, the Hammerfist would find itself as easy prey for enemy craft.
