Hana was born into a small isolationist community on the edge of “civilized” space. The community called home a small piece of moon where they lived off the land and gave as much back as they took. The community was all about self sufficiency and sustainability, so suffice to say Hana grew up learning almost everyday. From an early age she could care for livestock or even build her own home, but it wasn’t until she left the moon that she truly appreciated the lessons she had learned.

She left the community, in adolescence, because of a chance meeting with a pilot and his broken down freighter, and a budding curiosity of life beyond the stars. She helped the pilot with his repairs in exchange for passage to the largest spaceport he knew of. He held his end of the bargain but it took some time for the two to part ways. They enjoyed each others company and only split apart when the pilot realized Hana was force sensitive. Once he realized he recommended she go meet a friend of his to learn how to use her gift; and she did.

The woman who he recommended was a grey jedi. Showing neither side of the force any preference she gave, or tried to give Hana, an unbiased education in the ways of the force. Hana was a quick study with a good work ethic; both qualities she had cultivated back on her home world. After several years of study she continued her travels on her own. She fell into and out of several odd jobs along the way but discovered she had a knack for sneaking, spying, and holding onto some valuable information. She started to make a living and a name for herself in the criminal underworld as an information broker but quickly gave that up as her clientele grew more and more shady by the week, and she did care for the people who’s lives she could have been affecting with her information.

She continued on in the vein of information gathering but this time she had done so legitimately… well mostly. She made some contacts within the Outer Rim Coalition and after free lancing for the loosely operated organization she had come to like it and joined the outfit. And this is where we join our hero.

It’s hard to judge a book by it’s cover, especially in a galaxy with as many cultures as their are creatures, but if one were to notice anything about Hana it’s that she is always field ready. She dresses light in terms of weight, and dark in terms of color. She’s always ready to sneak or brawl at a moment’s notice, and that comes across in the way she has about her. She’s a spacer, an explorer, a rogue, and not very different from the rest of the rabble.

+ Quick Study: Hana learns things very quickly. It doesn’t matter if it is a martial technique or a holochess strategy. The girl is sharp.

+ Excellent Memory: Recalling every bit of conversation you’ve had in the past 48 hours can be quite difficult to some but to Hana it’s child’s play. Hana has excellent short term memory and can recall recent conversations word for word. It comes in handy in her line of work.


- Wanted Woman: You don’t sell information to the Hutts. If the information is wrong you get a pretty hefty bounty on your head. Hana found this lesson out the hard way, and does her best to keep her head down.

- Gambler: Hana can be a bit greedy, but instead of pinching pennies she tends to go all in hoping to hit the jackpot. All she really ends up doing is wasting money in a grandiose way.

Hana isn’t too different from your average spacer. She likes Starships and Adventure and incorporates that into her way of life. It’s why she’s in the line of work she’s in now. She enjoys traveling the outer rim and the edges of known space. She’s excited by the idea of going where few other sentients have. If that means she can help a couple of people, or make some money along the way, even better.

Culture is also something that interests Hana. The lives of the locals and one’s story is always something she seeks when touching down on a new planet or meeting a new person. To her life is a lot more than blaster fire and control; life is about the people who live it and not about the events they have to live through.

One thing that has eluded Hana for a long time now is love, romance, the feeling that there is someone in the universe made just for her. She’s never felt that, but she wants to. She’s young, and she’s not in a rush but sometimes she can't help but wonder of the day she’ll finds the man, woman, or individual of her dreams.
