Hands across the Galaxy (ask for invite)

A World dedicated to helping others. A hospital, refugee relocation, and a center where representatives from across the galaxy could meet, and discuss issues.

This place was Rianna's project she had long envisioned a place that could be solely for helping, saving, and working for a brighter future. She had gotten others interested and they had donated time, effort, and materials. Each time there was a movement in the galaxy ships showed up on Alpha Mae. But this was too late for some. What Alpha Mae needed was a team, a group that could go to where war waged and bring those that wanted to leave to Alpha Mae.

Treat them along the journey to Alpha Mae. At times even protection for the fleet, for the healers was needed, Politicians were needed to negotiate for them to get the medical teams from Alpha Mae permission to go to the war zones where the people were in need. Alpha Mae would supplement the medical personnel already on the ground.

She opened up the communications to governments across the galaxy and asked that they send a representative to discuss this. Were there more among the planets, the factions themselves that could dedicate ships, and personnel for such an undertaking. Would they believe it possible to do?

Rianna looked out now to the faces all turned towards where she would stand in a few minutes,

BB had come with the Uukaabian delegation and as a delegate of the Kathol outback. With the recent waves of Sith spawn plague on Demonsgate finally calming down he had time to devert to other endeavors and forming an alliance with a planet totally devoted to caring for the sick and injured was something near and dear to BB's heart.

His delegation was not the only one there and may other groups from across the galaxy had ventured to Aplha Mae for the summit. The pool of medical expertise was deep as conversations on proper Bacta protocol and rescue stragities were discussed at length around the many human and alien men and women gathered.

So till the conference began BB entertained himself by walking around the groups and introducing himself in some fashion or another, happy to be away from the sorrows of battle for awhile.

Well she wasn't a government rep but she was one of the students who had learned from Feena Mason one of a handful she knew were the truly skilled at healing. The others like Boolon and Leori were not around, the other well Rianna was a skilled one for the best of the work they could do. She was standing there in the medium styled armor with the ballistic shield on her back thanks to the magnetic clamps. She could use it to keep it there and in her gloved hands while walking over with a few of the things. "THank you for having me." The armor looked proper so they could do many of the things showing her healing cube the jedi healers were getting now for their work. THe other equipment was there on her belt and in the equipment satchel for exploring or going outside of the temple. The padawan was looking around bright eyed and ready for anything.

Valessia checks herself over in the mirror, standing in her private quarters aboard her phantom. She takes the second earring and sets it in. Palm of her hands go to smooth out the dress, tugging it down as far it would go. Outside of parties or any attempts to impress anyone, the up and coming fashion icon dresses rather plainly. Her personal vessel, piloted by a Devaronian named Cinica docks at Alpha Mae. Where Valessia has been chosen (volunteered herself), to represent House Brentioch and Brentaal IV.

A personal droid, PA3-AD1V or Paddy for short rapped along the closed door. "Master, we have arrived on Alpha Mae. Shall I escort you to the airlock?"

"Not yet, thank you Paddy." She tells him plainly walking out of her chambers. "Do I look alright?"

"You look splendid as always, Master." Paddy replies maneuvering to walk toward the holoterminal he gestures. "There was a message from Bespin, Master. Do you still wish to reserve the ballroom?"

"Of course," Valessia answers diligently as she makes her way toward the cockpit. Edra who had been in service to the Brentaalan noble since the woman was just a girl looks over. "What?" She asks looking down at herself. "Is this too formal?"

Edra shakes her head. "I don't know why you wear those things, they always make your butt look big."

The Brentaalan arches a brow looking at the Zabrak.

Cinica who had only been hired to fly the ship, leans back and checks the noble woman out for herself. "And this is a problem, how?"

Valessia throws her hands up in the air, she quits. "I just wanted to tell you two, to behave."

"If by behave you mean bored, okay mom." Cinica quips, in which Valessia gives her a sidelong glance that could've killed if she wanted it to. Cinica only rolls her eyes and puts her hands into the air. "Right, well I'm going to stretch my legs."

Edra stood up to follow their pilot out of the cockpit, but stops to look over at Valessia and say. "Maybe I should tell Paddy to stop buying those warra nut cookies."

"You will do no such thing, or I will cease the purchase of your blasted vine-coffeine." She threatens playfully.

Cinica pokes her head back into the cockpit. "Hey moms, can you two stop arguing? You're making us kids nervous."

Valessia's mouth is agape as she turns to look at the woman, but cannot exactly say anything. She only moves to side step around the pilot and heads toward the airlock. Paddy greets her there, and checks her over one last time. "Any orders for while you're out, Master?" He inquires, tilting his head ready to record any orders she has to give.
"No." Giving him a polite squeeze of the shoulder she exits the ship and finds herself in Alpha Mae's space port. It was well enough she supposed walking from the plank toward the check-ins. From there she crossed toward the lifts and did her best to keep a polite smile. Reminding herself that she was here on behalf of her house, and planet. To lend any aid that they could, it wasn't so often that she found herself engaging in politics on her planet's behalf. Representing her family's luxury liner company' Brentioch Luxus Vellum. Their vessels were often sold to many different cruise companies all obtaining different names and colors.

Taking a taxi from the space port to the summit itself allowed Valessia the pleasure of seeing Alpha Mae in all its splendor. A planet for peace, she smiles thinking of how one even achieves such a feat. In spite of some of her more infamous affiliations, Valessia believed herself to be one of the good guys.

Arriving at the summit itself, she walks in and finds an overwhelming aura of good. It doesn't quite bother her, but she holds back the urge to sneer at it. It was almost as if she had to sit through one of her parents' Republic galas. Reminding herself once more, she was here on behalf of Brentaal IV. Valessia holds a tight smile toward the others that are gathered here.

Viktor had been on Alderaan helping his beloved Claire with looking for her sister Tori when he heard about the message from Alpha Mae. While he was a man without a government he saw promise in such endeavors that allowed him to be around people from different planets and cultures. With any luck he may be able to get a lead on Tori.

The irony of an Imperial and former One Sith governor enlisting in humanitarian work was not lost on him. It even made him smile as he thought about it.

Viktor would arrive at the Summit with a complete absence of fanfare. Just a guy in a suit here to hear a nice little speech and maybe lend a hand. After all he had certainly done worse things in his life.

Jaster walked the halls of the Conglomerate HQ on Conglomerate Prime. Being the Vicroy of the 3rd largest Trade Armada in the galaxy and also owning a large supply of Medical Supplies, this meeting seemed interesting to him. He had already been a member of the Healers Guild as Cheif Security Admiral and CEO of a medical supply company, he had his hands on a near infinite supply of his previous life. Yet he wanted something in return, that of course would be held in secret as it was one of the few bargaining chips he held.

Jaster reached the door of the summit but waited for his secretary and Cheif of Security. He would be transmitting via Holo-communications as he was still needed in his sector of space. A trooper came rushing up to Jaster and handed him a data pad before leaving once he saluted his Viceroy. Jaster read the report. After reading the report he crushed the Data pad inside his Exoskeleton power suite. The situation of his planet was only getting worse.

His staff arrived and he stepped into the conference room were the Holo-Projector was already set up. He was now waiting for the meeting to begin.

Jagen Wren

A single ship, the Valiance-class Star Destroyer Navigator, exited out of hyperspace at a distance from Alpha Mae. It was the command ship of Republic Navy Commodore Jagen Wren, who had made his way to the system not for war or profit, but to help people that couldn't help themselves due to poverty and war. In order to maintain a peaceful stance as to not provoke aggression from the other factions that were currently there, the battleship maintained a good distance from the planet and also had all of their weapon and tactical stations unmanned by the crew, only to be used if the ship was attacked.

The commodore himself would be attending a speech without an armed escort, save for himself. "Lieutenant, I'm leavin' you in command of the ship while I'm planetside. You best keep her shipshape, laddy, or I'll be comin' for your head." Wren said, leaving his anxious First Mate saluting him as he left for the frontal hangar bay. Once there, instead of taking a shuttle like any sane officer would, he jumped into one of the XA-5 X-Wings that the ship had many squadrons of. He enjoyed the smoothness of the flying rather than riding, commencing a barrel roll then a boost towards the planet as he left, much to the terror of the bay operator.

---------

The starfighter flew through the clouds, going low enough to almost skim the water of the ocean below him. He did so until he reached land, and then finally the building the summit was being held at. He had the ship touchdown onto one of the public landing pads and climbed out of the cockpit before securing it so someone wouldn't steal it once he was gone, he then made his way towards the building to the entrance.

He entered the lobby of the building and was immediately selected for a "random" search, which involved the guards frisking him, finding his protective pistols and his booze, which the guard held up at him with a reproachful look, Wren just shrugged and smirked as they put his stuff inside a security locker for him to get once he was leaving the building.

Wren found the place they were holding the summit and took a seat, hoping to get a good look at the others who came. Not to be judgmental, but Jagen had a built in dis-trust for members of the other faction, and especially so since they were on a neutral planet. He would need to work through that if they were going to make this team work for the betterment of the galaxy and its trillions of inhabitants.

Alpha Mae was not a place Romeo was familiar with, though the galaxy as a whole was nothing something he was familiar with. The Alliance medical sect was asking for volunteers to help with a mission to support the planet Alpha Mae. Even though he was not very active within the GA, Romeo still found this particular mission interesting. He stood among others as the woman who was leading them prepared to brief the group. Romeo sighed. He wished Sol was here to explain more on the Weave and it's bindings to all that existed.
He closed his eyes, focusing on the Weave, feeling those threads hum with life, and activity. It was such a warm feeling, so calm, so peaceful. He wished everyone could see the shining crystal threads of the Weave.

Politics, people, discussion, civility, and happiness. What an odd place, very different from all the other places the human sized in height wookie thought to himself. It was a lone planet with happiness and healing, no sith-spawn, no slavers, nothing really bad that he could tell. Though he had no idea why he'd been invited here.

Oh wait, he'd put up an advertisement for physical labor a while back. Bryce probably signed him up here to build houses or something. Either way he was glad to be here. With as much good nature and friendliness he'd be sure that his little 'Red Friend' would be hanging around somewhere so he started off with looking for him, but with his luck three people would stop him on the way. Though in a place like this he wouldn't mind being approached at all. Unless it was a hysterical woman talking about her daughter being kidnapped like usual this would be a blast.

Rianna looked out across the crowds it was time to begin, "Good Morning everyone, thank you for coming." She walked to the center stage, "I am quite pleased and in awe of everyone that is here right now. You're all probably wondering exactly what's going on."

She smiled, "I am Rianna Organa. I am a healer and a doctor, and there is a slight difference between the two. Alpha Mae is a planet that has opened its arms to healers and doctors. They have declared themselves neutral of any faction, and would like to think they are friend to all. Why you might ask? There's been suffering across the galaxy refugees having no where to go, no place to take them in, care for them, help them. The government of Alpha Mae wanted to make a difference and extend whatever they could to those who need it."

Rianna walked slowly making sure she looked out, looked into the eyes of those she could see. "There is a wonderful hospital, a building meant for negotiations for all politicians and leaders across the galaxy, and a refugee center all here. The problem we've noticed is that some of the refugees can't make it here so we need help. That's why you are all here." She got straight to the point.

She knew she couldn't always say what she meant it came out twisted, "We need politicians who will help us negotiate to help those in need, we need escort vessels to keep our ships from being fired upon, we could use a few more medical frigates, some supplies, we need doctors and healers to staff the frigates, to come to Alpha Mae and do rotations to help. We need a few more administrators to help us meet the growing needs."

"The government of Alpha Mae is looking for supporters and volunteers" She paused, "So, questions as I know I've forgotten something"

This is where she work would begin answer questions, and then see if there were commitments.

Viktor listened to Rianna talk wondering what relation she was to Claire. He didn't ask though moving focus back to what his host said. Once she was finished a few questions popped into his head. After a minute he would stand.

"Miss Organa............Viktor Alexander representing..............well myself." "I have a few questions I would like to pose." "One are you a member of the governing body of Alpha Mae speaking on their behalf?" "Two am I to understand they wish to for all intense purposes to turn this world into a refugee planet?" "If so how do they intend to support the cost of such an endeavor?" "Lastly what measures are in place to ensure not only the safety of said refugees when they get here but to ensure they are not in turn exploited once they get here?"

Viktor retook his seat to let his questions be answered or ignored as she saw feet.

She was looking at Rianna as she spoke with a nod of her head clasping her hands in front of herself. She liked the idea of it but the idea of a truly neutral planet before she was going over some of the things in her head. This world was hard... the one part of her mind was looking at the idea of helping everyone as the most noble as medicine and healing shouldn't care about sides... but the other she knew some could be cowards and if the healer and doctors across the galaxy were gathered in one place... harming them or taking them could severely harm the effort of the other side. Practicality wise she hoped that Rianna had something for defense or a way to protect their people. If they healed a sith he could harm them to prevent the chance of healing a rival or jedi. The concerns were there but she wasn't going to throw them around, maybe she was missing something and it could be protected. She didn't want to dampen the good works.

[member="Viktor Alexander"]

Rianna nodded, "I serve as an Administrator at the Hospital, and yes I serve additional as a representative to the government of Alpha Mae." She moved slowly, "Yes the intent is that Alpha Mae is a neutral world dedicated to healing, helping refugees, and providing a place for other government to come and discuss issues of the galaxy. So not complete dedicated to just Refugees Viktor."

Rianna knew that questions would come up on how to fund, "Alpha Mae has trade contracts the profits made from trade are dispursed between parties, additional there are already private supporters donating time, and funding."

The last one was the trick, "I help to create the refugee program it is designed to give them a home, a new start until they can get on their feet.. But there are positions open in that program that need to be filled by individuals who would help to oversee operations and to ensure the Refugees are taken care of. Another reason for this meeting is to find like minded people who would consider living here on Alpha Mae to do these things."

The speech had been a good one as far as speeches go BB though. The planet seemed as advertised, a hospital world devoted to the care and health of down trodden people. The Uukaabian delegation seemed pleased as well as they chatted with one another discussing what, how, and when to offer what they were authorized to. For BB it was a chance to continue his quest to help people and he decided to talk with organizer further.

"Miss Organa." BB said a little over enthusiastically and probably interrupting someone else.

"I may be able to help. My home world of Biitu is an agro paradise. Clean are good food and the native people are extremely friendly. My company Bantam Cooperative Unlimited can offer food and other minor agro products to aid in feeding the needy for more then reasonable price. The planet a good place for displaced folks to stay in relative comfort and attempt to rebuild their lives. The Uukaabain was also looking to pledge their support, in exchange for information sharing and other minor medical contracts."

@ Bryce Bantam

Rianna looked at the young man speaking, "who are you?" What he offered was quite generous and there was no doubt they would accept just without knowing his name she could not move forward.

She looked again to the audience she knew there were questions, she felt them dancing on the force waiting to be given breath and life.

She was looking at the master healer and stood tall and ready for anything but the others that were here with them were really quiet. No questions, no intrigue just. "Master while we might be neutral here, what is to stop some of the less honorable coming after the world. Those who wage war could eliminate or take the world to just control all of the healers and diplomats here, or kill everything so a chance that those they are going after will suffer from it." She found it dangerous but if they were protected it was nice to know... meant she wouldn't have to wonder if a new ship arriving might be a herald to a fleet or just someone who is going to try and kill them all because it will let others die later.

Rianna Ar'klim-Organa said:
"who are you?"
BB blushed a little and paused before answering. He was a little to enthused and so needed to rain it in a bit. Waiting for the warrior woman to finish this time before speaking again BB continued...

She was right in a way, being neutral and a bad habit of allowing those less honorable to take advantage of you. Still wanting to at least introduce himself BB continued after the question was answered.

"Sorry Ms Organa, my name is Bryce Bantam, or BB for short. I represent an "underground" group of resistance fighters and also the interests of the Kathol Outback. Basically what I said it true we want to help."

Valessia Brentioch

Guest
Valessia watched as the boy, and the women exchanged words. Others spoke as well, and it would seem that the light-siders were about as bad with stereotypes as the Imperials she hung out with. Still, she adjusted her gown and observed them further and then of course - what would stop any true Empire from stepping on this world without a second thought? Nothing. The same could be said of the Republic, and it's we're only here to help business but instead they end up occupying the entire planet. Or it's only a temporary situation, and we shall liberate you from the Empire, well - most of that was partly right. Though she supposed it would depend on how you looked at the situation.

But, healers were a dime a dozen the same with diplomats. If you just wanted healers and diplomats you don't summon a grand meeting such as this, no. When you summon a grand meeting such as this, you're looking to put together something more. A rag-tag group of volunteers no less, to go off and help others. To save those who need saving, heal those that needed healing. She could put her Phantom to use for this group, to slip them in and out of First Order and One Sith territories if only to rescue someone who truly had no ties or binds to either faction. You see, she'd be obligated to turn them over and Valessia is all about servitude, well... When it benefits her anyway.

"Nothing, my dear." She promptly interrupts. "Although given the current amount of in-fighting, and off set wars on every corner of the galaxy. Let's just say they're just a little too busy to care." Not that Alpha Mae wasn't worth the attention, it was, but even the fighting hounds needed a place to drink. "But even hounds need a place to rest, mhmm?" Valessia offers and then formally introduces herself. "Valessia Brentioch of Brentaal IV, I may be able to provide aid to your team when necessary slip them in and out of First Order and One Sith territory. I can even be persuaded to connect them with a few of my more savory trading partners." Savory was being kind, but then - when you're bleeding on the karkin' duracrete floor of an abandoned factory, you don't quite care who fixes you, or how.
