Feather in His Cap
"Come on, Tepp. You gotta go find someone. I'll be fine."
Shem was in a rather precarious state. Collision with a smaller city bird mid-flight had sent him towards the ground, where he got his right foot caught between two awkwardly placed pipes. Now he was dangling upside down, his leg sprained from what he could gather. The fledgling was trying to convince his droid companion Tepp to go venture off for help. Unfortunately, too worried for both his own and Shem's safety, the R5-unit wasn't budging. The droid protested in droidspeak, continuing to tremble in place.
Gosh," Shem sighed. "I'm gonna be here forever..."
He'd surely get in trouble upon his return to the Jedi Temple. Shem had already been venturing out on his own for a while now, so this was just one more reckless action for him to be rebuked for. What the fledgling was really worried about was the disappointment of his Uncle Spinner. Unfortunately for the young Rishii there seemed to be no other course of action, at least with his astromech too petrified to move. All he could do was pluck at the drawstring of his bow and pass the time...
"Now, the mist across the window hides the lines, But nothing hides the color of the lights that shine, Electricity so fine, Look and dry your eyes..."
Shem's singing halted. There was a shuffling sound. Somebody was approaching, help perhaps.
"Hello?" the boy called out. "Anyone there?"
