In the heart of Hapes, within a secluded estate far from the prying eyes of the Consortium's nobility, a secret celebration is underway. Word has spread among Hapan men, emboldened by recent events—spurred by their first taste of newfound rights and freedoms, and whispers of a leader who could lead them to claim even more. This gathering is by invitation only, drawing nobles and commoners alike, each one drawn to the promise of something that has long felt out of reach.

A hushed excitement fills the air, with stories shared over glasses of rare, spiced wines beneath opulent chandeliers. These men share a common sentiment: that under the rule of women, Hapes has become prone to rash decisions and unchecked passions. They believe it's time for a change—a male leader, one who could bring a sense of peace, stability, and order, the steady hand Hapes has long needed.

The guests have come for the same reason: to show loyalty to the Hidden Prince, an elusive figure many claim to have seen but few truly know. Rumor has it he embodies the kind of strength and calm that could bring true stability to the Consortium. Among the crowd, a few elegantly dressed women mingle, their smiles hinting at shared excitement. For them, the rise of a male leader offers a new sense of ease—a chance to enjoy the festivities, confident that perhaps, for once, Hapan men will take the helm.

They exchange knowing glances, finding relief in a future where the burdens of leadership might be shared differently. Some rumors even speak of his physical presence, describing him as strikingly handsome, with flowing crimson hair, gem-like eyes, and flawless, mesmerizing features said to even surpass those of the reigning Queen Mother. To those gathered here tonight, he is more than a man; he is a symbol and a vision of a stronger, more stable Hapes—and perhaps, their first king, awaiting coronation by his supporters.

Both the Hellions and Strill Securities have been hired to provide security, ensuring that government crackdowns won't disrupt the coronation festivities.

Out of all the more recent jobs the Hellions were hired for, this was definitely up there. Security for a secret meeting to plot the usurping of a local Monarchy. They had done far worse in the past, but few were as odd as this. The Pureblood helped himself to a fine glass of wine as he stood on the edge of the gathering, carefully surveying the space.

He had a company of Hellions around the premises for extra security, just in case the locals came knocking with more than just words. What he was more interested in, was the other PMC hired to provide additional security. Strill Securities, a name legendary across the galaxy. They had been at it with these jobs a bit longer than Hex Inc. but nevertheless Jas and his troops had proven their worth. Right alongside the Strills over Mon Cala, no less.

The Pureblood adjusted his pitch black suit and red tie as his gaze caught the figure of the Strill representative. What amused the Pureblood was their simultaneous parallel and contrast. Colleagues, yet competition. Allies, yet rivals. But on a more personal level, the two were mortal enemies. Sith and Mandalorian. If this wasn’t a job, Jas would have had plenty of choice words and weaponry to sling at the man. It was an army-wide hatred, born from the actions of their predecessors, but also from the dozen or so brutal fights the Hellions had with other Mandalorians.

But he could play it professionally for the moment.

:: Overlord, this is Retail. Status report. :: Jas spoke over his commlink.

:: Retail, this is Overlord. Standing by and maintaining position. :: The answer came back. The ’Tython’ hung in orbit just for some extra security, though a deployment of backup hung back in a different system, in case things went disastrously south. Though a whole division would possibly be enough to deal with most issues. After all, speaking softly only worked when a big stick was present. A Conqueror-class Star Destroyer could be quantified as a big enough stick.

With the avenues covered and the guests enjoying their little scheme, Jas refilled his glass and made his way over to the Mandalorian with a faint smile. Su cuy'gar, Mandalorian.” He greeted, his golden eyes studying the man. ”Interesting job for our companies this time around, huh?” He remarked, turning to look over the crowd.

Nyles didn't often joint the planet side contingent. Exceptions had to be made, however, when history seemed to be in the making. Nyles didn't think he'd see laws that equalized men and women in Hapan society in his lifetime, let alone see a Hapan king. This he had to see for himself. He didn't bother with a detail, Varan had better things to do than join him on the surface. In any event, he seemed to be the only soul really interested on the Morut. Everyone else was here seemingly only because they'd picked up the security contract before they'd left New Cov and made the diversion. Nyles would be lying if he said he'd have been here if he'd known and they weren't contracted, but now that they were here he saw no reason not to be.

The operation was a joint one, however, with the Hellions no less. Nyles vividly remembered their joint operation for the TAC over Mon Calamari. Their reputation far preceded them. On first glance, he had no idea why in haran they had hired both companies, then again, with what was being attempted, two of the galaxy's best private military companies seemed like a good choice to invest in as far as security was concerned. In such a case, he could scarcely think of other mercenaries he'd want at his side at a time like this, even if their hatred of and actions against Mandalorians was infamous. Then again, those were precisely the sort of Mandalorians he and his vode had been preparing to kill. In that sense, the Hellion's reputation put him further at ease.

The G-02H Vuhyr'galaar-class Heavy Gunship touched down without him really feeling it. The ramp lowered down from the armored hull with a hiss of hydraulics. Outside, Strill Securities units under Ruus Kote Ruus Kote had taken up few positions outside the event. He exchanged a nod with two of the patrolling shock troops as the gunship lifted off into the air and entered a holding pattern. He entered the building, taking a quick look around. He caught motion out of the corner of his eye and picked out his counterpart in the Hellions. He was pleasantly surprised to be greeted, even partially, in Mando'a. "Su cuy'gar," he replied. "Now that you mention it, it certainly is. We're either about to witness history or collect the easiest money in our careers. I'd say ideally both, but we both have been doing this long enough to know that's not going to happen."

Shan arrived right on time. He handed the invitation to one of the security guards at the entrance to the estate, taking the brief delay to look the solider up and down. Well equipped, well disciplined by the look of things. A good showing at the door, and for an event like this, first impressions were certainly a hot commodity. He was cleared, and stepped through the threshold of the estate.

Just beyond the entrance Shan removed the formal cloak he had worn to the event; a black and gold striped fabric that had draped over his right side. Beneath, the freshly made black Diarchy naval uniform almost gleamed in lights of the entrance hall. He did not know many of the people here, only a few individuals who had traveled beyond Hapan space stood out to Shan, though he paid them little attention. This was not a social visit for him, and the orders of the Diarch, Lord Reign had been clear.

Word of the gathering had filtered into Bastion through the Network, the intelligence apparatus of the Diarchy. They had informed them of a political figure making inroads on Hapes, a potential contender for the throne that might throw the region of space into turmoil if their plans panned out. If the change in government happened, it would be a drastic shift in a highly militaristic culture, a shift that might prove beneficial in the long run.

Entering the main hall, Shan folded his gloved hands behind his back and made his way towards one of the food tables. He glanced through he food, nodding to the server to make him a plate before taking it and finding a table for himself. For now, his task was to observe the proceedings, and report back to the Diarchy. If an opportunity presented itself, however, to begin forging ties with a potential new faction within Galactic Alliance space, then he would do so. The Imperial opportunism in him would not allow him to miss the chance.

Taking a bite of the food, a small smile crept across Shan's face. Hapan food was delicious.

A Dark Lords Introduction

Aboard Relliks personal shuttle, an IV-9 Scout Ship sitting in stealth above Hapes. The Dark Lord watched cloaked as the security held its formations over the planet. A fascinating coordinated display between the two independent factions. It appears completion of the task and formality mean more than their history, for now. They must take their jobs seriously for a Star Destroyer and a Carrier to be deployed, this is good. The Dark Lord would not need to be hidden in shadow to feel safe today. For his first visit the nebulae of Hapes was truly beautiful.

With that information gathered it was time to descend. The cities were distant from each other and the party being in the heart of Hapes, it was easy to tell where the Dark Lord was going. Landing on the outskirts of a beautiful estate that some would even consider a royal palace Rellik moved to the front gates.

Seeing a bountiful amount of people in their finest dress and feeling a bit out of place Rellik changed his exterior appearance with magic and turned it into a more civilized attire. Grey silk robes underneath a maroon tunic. A simple outfit and trick he uses when leaving Sith space. Invitations had been given to the Diarchy but Rellik, who was on a mission when they were sent out had decided to put it into the mind of the guard that he was looking at an invitation using his illusions.

Surveying the room; the interior was beautiful, dangling chandeliers, beautiful crystal adornments. Rellik could feel a presence knew him. He darted his eyes to Shan Pellian Shan Pellian who was enjoying his food. Wonderful, the Dark Lord had been meaning to talk to him for some time. The other attention to detail were the guards. He could feel the pull of the force from the Hellion members. If he found the time it would be an interesting conversation since Rellik had no ties to the Sith. The Strill were the first fully armored Mandalorian's Rellik had seen and they were truly a beauty to behold when fully geared.
"Fascinating attendance and grandeur" he spoke to himself.

In the end, the Palace, Guards, nor the intoxicating food and wine were enough to take away from the center of attention for the party; the King. the aura around the building, the conversation happening among the crowd. It felt as though a being of fairy tale was going to be seen at any moment. This itself, was truly enough for Rellik to traverse the galaxy and find his way here.

Damos had no familiarity with Hapen politics. But he wouldn't say no to a party and it helped to make some potential connections and familiarize himself with some of the galaxy's biggest players. He had heard the Hellions and Strill Securities were playing bodyguard for this occasion. He wasn't familiar with Strill and only by Hellions through reputation, so he knew that this 'king' was expecting trouble on a cataclysmic level. He wouldn't need this level of security otherwise. Damos decided not to rep the Diarchy as he was unsure of who was gonna be here but he did have lightsaber in case things went south. He did however have a nice suit on for the occasion.

The hors d'oeuvres were pretty good and he indulged more than what was probably appropriate. Hapen wine was also something Damos never had which he found had a pleasant and crisp texture. He found himself blending in pretty well with the crowd, exchanging basic pleasantries and getting some insight into who they were. Damos just said he owned a shipping business, which wasn't entirely wrong. Although he found himself bored by all the cookie cutter nobles at the party, he didn't really know what to expect. It were these folks that made him want to turn this party into a bloodbath, but he sighed, it wouldn't be appropriate. At least not now.

As his eyes wandered, he did not expect to see his colleague and follow Diarch High Counsellor, Shan Pellian Shan Pellian who he immediately walked up to. "If I knew you got an invitation, I would've shared a shuttle with you." The two were essentially co-workers, Counsellor Pellian was currently constructing the Rae Sloane Naval Academy and Damos had to get him the materials to actually build the academy. Although Damos was more surprised to see one of his bosses, Darth Rellik Darth Rellik who seemed to relish the festivities. Damos sighed happily, it was definitely going to be an intriguing night.
