Not open for further replies.
Manufacturer: @Zinayn
Market Status: Closed Market
Production: Unique
Weight: Light
Melee Type:
  1. Sword
Size: Average
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • To be used to its full potential, the wielder must channel the Force through it continuously. When doing so, the Force energy blazes around the blade, greatly enhancing strikes and blocking effectiveness.
  • The metal of the blade, Fyrirdogun, has regenerative capabilities to some extent. It will regenerate some minor damage such as chips or scratches.
  • The katana is an extension of the wielder, as is taught in swordsmanship classes. As such, Force techniques such as lightning could be channeled onto it and released.
  • Fyrirdogun is lightsaber resistant
  • The guard of the katana is made of cortosis, which can short out the average lightsaber.
  • The pommel of the katana can open and LO-56E cartridges can be inserted to change the element of the blade.
STRENGTHS
  • Regenerating blade
  • Very sharp/has great slicing power
  • Versatile with the LO-56E cartridges
WEAKNESSES
  • The user must keep the Force channeling through the sword at all times for it to be used to its full potential.
  • Keeping the Force through the blade can distract the user.
  • A stab with the katana won't be that effective, as it is a slicing instrument, unlike a lightsaber which works both ways
DESCRIPTION
Zinayn forged this katana aboard Aurora Station , using one of its many smaller forges. No blacksmith supervised him while he did his work. The Chiss created the blade from just the raw materieals of fyrirdogun, cortosis, and durasteel. The process took about a year and a half, with much trial and error. However, Zinayn believes the self-creation of his weapon formed a bond between them, and will make it even more powerful in his hands. For who knows more about the blade than its creator?

The length of the blade is 31 inches, while the handle is 10 inches, giving a total length of 41 inches.

The Harbinger's blade is made of fyrirdogun, meaning that if it is somehow damaged, it will regenerate in time, scaled by the severity of the damage. Now, being used in battle and constantly hitting other objects (or people) will make the blade duller. However the fyrirdogun will regenerate constantly, always referencing how it was made. Therefore it will always keep the level of sharpness it had at its creation. The guard of the Harbinger is made of cortosis. Zinayn made this with the idea of the "glissade". Where previously it was impossible in a lightsaber lock to slide a blade along the opponent's to attack due to attraction between the sabers, now Zinayn could take advantage of opponents with lightsabers, which have no guard. While sliding along the enemy's lightsaber, Zinayn thought, the Harbinger's guard would touch the saber. So what would be better than a guard of beskar? A guard made of cortosis to short out the lightsaber.

The main point of the blade is that it needs to have the Force channeled through it to be used to its full potency. Unlike other weapons that come pre-imbued, Zinayn's hope is that constantly pouring the Force into his blade will make it more effective than the alchemized ones. Instead of just being imbued once, the Harbinger is constantly being infused with the Force, giving it more energy than the others. Though it remains to be seen in battle.

Very cool sub! However I have some concern about this, especially like that I wrote the material:
The metal of the blade, Fyrirdogun, has regenerative capabilities. If the blade is somehow destroyed, it will regenerate, though it may take hours depending on the damage.

I wrote this:
Although the metal is able to regenerate thanks to its own nature, however it can easily get too much damage that this metal can no longer repair anymore

This mostly refers to surface or small damages, that it is able to repair them, but in no case is it able to rebuild something that has destroyed almost completely, that would be nanotechnology. Therefore, I would like to ask you to edit this part.
