The Eye of the Storm

But today was an interesting case. Jonyna walked to the steps of the temple with a smile, as Val had filled her in.
Another Cryobaby.
It was a term of endearment that Jonyna had given to those lost to time. Sometimes that meant cryo-stasis, sometimes it meant cases like her where she had been frozen without her own consent, or in cases like this, carbonite freezing.
To hear a jedi master had been frozen in such a way, it made Jonyna smirk. Back where she came from, Jedi Masters were practically myths. Those in the upper echelon of power within the galaxy, able to call upon the Force in such ways that made them feel like forces of nature. And yet, now that she had become one, seeing it from the other side peeled back the myth in ways she had never thought. Even a jedi master was fallible, and sometimes that meant you got frozen for Sylvar knows how long.
