Korriban was interesting. It felt like a dead world in comparison to how Dantooine looked and felt. There was power here that Eira felt resonated with the powers that boiled inside herself. Eira breathed in deeply and just enjoyed the feel of the air around her, she hadn't been on Korriban long but Eira was keen to demonstrate her potential, her powers were significant enough for the Sith to take note of. Eira had little understanding of the Sith, there had been some discussion of them on Dantooine but the idea of Force Users and what was good and bad didn't seem important to the farming community that she came from.

As long as they could live comfortable lives and do the work that they wanted to do, her old community never concerned themselves with the large issues in the galaxy.

Eira wanted to learn more. She needed to understand more. She desired to be more. Power was so alluring. There was a power, an ability, that was just out of reach and Eira was going to grasp it with all her strength. All it took was exploring the records of the Sith and see what she could learn from. Reading wasn't something that Eira was keen on since it was not a skill that she had been given a chance to develop. Finishing her caf, she threw the empty cup in the bin and adjusted her outfit to fit her more naturally. Walking through the halls of the temple, Eira's blood red eyes sharply observed the people, assessing who would be useful to exploit and use in her rise in power. There would not be friends that she would seek, only tools to become the Sith Lord that she wished to become.

Entering the library, Eira began scanning the records for what would have any information that would further develop her skills in combat. Her sharp nail caressed the spines of the literature as Eira searched for things on Force Lightning and ways to harness the power to the maximum. "Ah. This. This could be helpful." Eira whispered to herself as she pulled record from its place with the Force, guiding it to the nearby table. She opened the book and stared blankly at the words. Internally she was growling in frustration, the words meshed together, were completely illegible to her. She was not patient enough to just sit and read, she needed to find someone to just teach her. There was someone else here, she could sense another presence.

Walking over to the other presence in the library, Eira stood there with her arms crossed over her chest. "Hi. I came here to learn about Force Lightning, but I figured a practical lesson would be more beneficial."

Iuuna Talon sat in the dimly lit Sith Library, the silence punctuated only by the soft hum of the data pads floating around her. The air was thick with the scent of ancient tomes and the subtle aroma of her steaming cup of caf. She was immersed in her studies, alternating between readings on geokinesis and hydrokinesis. Her silver hair, characteristic of her Echani heritage, fell in soft waves over her shoulders, her expression one of intense focus and cold calculation.

The library, an architectural marvel of dark stone and intricate carvings, was vast and shadowy. Shelves upon shelves of ancient texts and modern data pads filled the space, their knowledge hidden away from the casual observer. Only the soft, ambient glow of the overhead lights provided illumination, casting long, eerie shadows that danced across the floor.

Iuuna was aware of the presence of others, but she paid them no mind, preferring the company of her thoughts and studies. She envisioned the practical applications of the elemental controls she was reading about, her mind meticulously breaking down each technique.

Without warning, her quiet reverie was interrupted by the sound of hesitant footsteps approaching. She didn't look up, her icy blue eyes still scanning the floating data pads, but her senses were acutely aware of the intruder. Iuuna finally looked up, her gaze piercing and devoid of warmth. The girl had her arms crossed over her chest. She wanted a more practical lesson.

Iuuna raised an eyebrow, her expression one of mild annoyance. She had little patience for interruptions, especially when they involved such basic requests. Still, there was something slightly amusing about the girl's rather bold request.

"Force Lightning?" Iuuna repeated, her tone dripping with skepticism. "Very well, if you insist."

She stood up, her movements fluid and graceful, and gestured for the girl to follow her to a more open area of the library. "Stand there," Iuuna instructed, pointing to a spot a few feet away from her. Iuuna's eyes narrowed as she extended her hand, electricity crackling at her fingertips. Without warning, she unleashed a bolt of Force Lightning, aimed at striking the girl squarely in the chest.

The Sith had been annoyed at the interruptions and she could feel the aura of frustrations bearing down on her. It was something that Eira understood well, she had often felt the same when interacting with the lower beings on Dantooine, they would pester her and she would always find herself frustrated and infuriated with their demands from her. What she did not expect was the Sith to move to an open air, position Eira in a spot and then attack. There had been no warning and Eira had little training with the Force to use Tutaminis to absorb the energy, she also did not know to use her practice saber to deflect and block the attack.

Instead the Lightning shot at her chest and hit her squarely. Knocking Eira off her feet and the squirm on the floor in pain.

"Urghhh! CHIT! Urghghhh!" Eira roared in pain, she was used to being beaten and demeaned by others but this was different. This pain was intense and it seared her body. She felt her muscles contracting and pulsating without her control, the pain of her body tensing and writhing on the floor mixed with the burning sensation the Lightning caused her skin to feel. She knew that she would be blackened and burnt by the time she recovered from this. However, even with all the pain that she felt, Eira did not surrender or plead for mercy. Her mind was struggling with the pain but understanding it. Taking in the power that the Lightning had and the control that the Echani Sith wielded it with. She was keen to see more.

Attempting to move onto all fours and look over at Iuuna, Eira's furious blood red eyes stared back. "I... I wish to become stronger..." She grunted as lightning cracked from her own making.

Iuuna stood in the dimly lit chamber of the Sith Library on Korriban, the ancient tomes and holocrons casting eerie shadows on the stone walls. Her silver hair cascaded down her back, shimmering in the flickering torchlight, and her fair silver-blue eyes held a cold, calculating gleam. At five foot nine, her curvy, busty frame exuded an air of confidence and superiority, a stark contrast to the young acolyte before her.

The acolyte, a slender human girl with dark hair and a determined yet weary expression, knelt on the cold floor, struggling to rise to her feet. Her blood-red eyes locked onto Iuuna's, a mixture of desperation and determination in their depths. The human's attempt to move on all fours was almost pitiful, yet there was a spark of something more beneath her bruised exterior.

Iuuna tilted her head, her curiosity piqued. Adjusting her posture, she surveyed the empty library. There was absolutely no one else around, and Iuuna wondered if some pathetic Sith Lord had lost their little mewling. Surely, someone must have misplaced this acolyte. Yet, as she watched the girl, she began to understand the situation. The girl wasn't lost; she was seeking something.

The Echani quirked a brow, her disdain for non-Echani evident in her gaze. Most Sith Lords found their acolytes in similar states, she supposed. Iuuna had never gone out of her way to train acolytes, considering most of them pathetic and unworthy. They were small beings grasping at power beyond their comprehension. Still, the girl's determination intrigued her.

Using the Force, Iuuna manipulated the shadows to lift the young girl's chin, allowing her to get a better look at the creature before her. The girl produced a weak bolt of lightning, her face contorted with effort.

"So you wish to learn," Iuuna said, her voice cool and indifferent, like a Dantooine morning. She probably should have shooed the girl away, but her aunt Srina, Empress of the Sith, had been encouraging her to be less aggressive toward non-Echani, even if Iuuna was certain most were not worthy. "Go on," she continued, her tone icy. "Strike me. Show me what you've learned."

Once she felt the ability to control her muscles and the intense, immediate pain of the lightning pass, Eira rose to her feet. She did not enjoy squirming around or being forced to made to feel weak or inferior. However, she knew this was not a fight she was going to win. All she could demonstrate that she could not be broken, that she would grow stronger and she would be able to inflict the same pain and humiliation she had felt. It was how she been on Dantooine and hearing them squeal when those who thought they could force Eira to bend was all the more delightful. Especially when they begged for mercy, bending far easier than she ever would.

Staring at the Echani, Eira knew she would never land a physical blow. She was not built for fighting nor did she have the speed or physical prowess in combat to even attempt to match an Echani. She knew well enough that it was not a fight with fists that would demonstrate her potential. Instead, she breathed in deeply and exhaled slowly, allowing the Force course through her body. Feeling the electrical connections it made and the sparks of fury that her mind always had ready to tap into.

She clenched both fists then pushed her fingers forward and launched her own Force Lightning. It was the best that she could do in order to demonstrate her skills. Lightning had always been her talents but she doubted it would be enough to actually cause any harm. At least she doubted that she would be causing any harm with it against this woman.

The acolyte's eyes widened with a mixture of fear and resolve. She gathered her strength, summoning the dark side of the Force to her fingertips. The air crackled with energy as she prepared to unleash her power.

Iuuna stood firm, her gaze unwavering. She watched as the acolyte summoned a bolt of lightning, her slender frame trembling with the effort. The lightning struck Iuuna, but she barely flinched, her expression remaining cold and unreadable.

"Not bad," she said, her voice carrying a hint of grudging respect. "But you'll need to do better if you want to survive in the world of the Sith." Iuuna sighed inwardly, knowing that training this girl would be an arduous task. But perhaps, just perhaps, there was potential here. "Very well," Iuuna continued, her voice softening slightly. "I will train you. But know this: I do not tolerate weakness. You will either rise to the challenge or be destroyed by it. The choice is yours."

With that, Iuuna turned and walked toward the library's exit and perhaps for the first time, Iuuna felt a glimmer of something beyond disdain—perhaps, just perhaps, a sliver of hope. Iuuna walked purposefully through the dimly lit corridors of the Sith Library, her silver hair flowing like a silken waterfall down her back. Her fair, porcelain complexion and striking silver-blue eyes exuded an icy confidence, a hallmark of her Echani heritage. She moved with the grace and poise of a seasoned warrior, each step echoing with authority.

The daunting reality of training someone else settled uneasily in her mind, but with typical Echani arrogance, she dismissed the thought immediately. She convinced herself that the human girl would not survive without her guidance. Yes, that was it. The girl needed her, and presenting the pitiful creature to her aunt as her new acolyte might even earn her further favor.

"Come along," Iuuna urged the acolyte, her tone as cold as the stone walls around them. "We will first see to you not looking like that."

They exited the library and entered the vast expanse of the Sith Academy. The academy was a foreboding structure, built into the very rock of Korriban. The stone hallways were lined with flickering torches, casting long shadows that danced across the ancient carvings depicting scenes of Sith triumphs and battles. The air was thick with the scent of incense and the palpable tension of countless students striving for power.

As they walked, Iuuna's mind raced. She wouldn't have had the faintest idea if this was how other Sith Knights or Lords managed to find their acolytes. The daunting task of training someone gnawed at her pride. With each step, she resolved to mold the girl into something formidable, if only to prove to herself that she could.

The academy's halls were filled with the low hum of whispered conversations and the occasional clash of training sabers. Students of various species and backgrounds hurried past, their eyes filled with ambition and fear. Iuuna paid them little mind, her focus solely on the task ahead.

Her temporary quarters were not far from the library. As they approached, Iuuna's thoughts wandered to her aunt, Srina Talon Srina Talon , the Empress of the Sith. Srina had always encouraged her to be less aggressive towards non-Echani, a sentiment Iuuna found difficult to embrace. Yet, here she was, about to take a human under her wing. The irony was not lost on her.

Finally, they reached her quarters. The room was sparsely furnished, with dark, polished wood and cold, stone walls. A single bed, a desk cluttered with ancient texts, and a wardrobe filled with her own meticulously arranged clothing were the only adornments. The flickering light from a single lamp cast a warm glow, contrasting with the chill of the academy outside.

Iuuna turned to the acolyte, her eyes narrowing slightly as she took in the girl's disheveled appearance. "There will be new clothes for you," she said, her voice firm but not unkind. "But first, tell me your name."

Eira blinked. Did she hear correctly?

The stranger decided to take her own as an acolyte. Eira wasn't sure if this was the usual approach to it but she did not question the process or decision. She was too keen to learn and grow from the potential she currently held. She walked behind Iuuna, not rushing to match her new Master's pace nor was she slacking either to avoid appearing weak or slow. Eira happily ignored the pain from the Force Lightning that lingered in her body, she knew it was important and provided her with the opportunity to learn from a skilled Sith. It was her first big step and the pain was a reminder of that step forward. She refused to let it consume her and would deal with it later if it persisted.

As they entered the room, Eira looked around and took everything in. Her eyes scanning the items around and pondered on what ancient texts might hold. It was unlikely going to be something she could read with ease but she could not help but feel curious.

Her gaze once again turned to Iuuna as she adjusted her posture to stand tall. It also revealed her own naturally curvy figure, while she was slender and not super athletic, her curves were well defined and her posture accentuated that fact. Eira noted that the Sith who was her Master now was slightly taller than herself and she was curious how much physical and combat based training she would have to endure since she could tell the Echani was definitely a brilliant specimen of her species.

"My name is Eira. Eira Dyn." She answered in an emotionless tone that did not hold care for her family name. She was not thrilled by the idea of new clothes, she had a style that she enjoyed and being forced to change that did not appeal to the new acolyte, however, she decided not to protest the issue. It was not like she was interacting with her parents or siblings here, this was a Sith and she knew better than to attempt to argue.

After retreiving what was necessary from her temporary quarters, they walked through the labyrinthine halls of the Sith Academy, Iuuna's mind was focused on the task at hand. The chamber they were heading to was one of her favorite places in the academy—a sparring chamber designed to push both body and mind to their limits. The walls of the academy echoed with the sounds of distant training sessions and the occasional shout of an instructor reprimanding a student. It was a place of constant challenge and growth, a crucible where the weak were forged into the strong.

"Eira Dyn," Iuuna repeated the acolyte's name, letting it form off her tongue. She observed the slender girl beside her, noting her reluctance to change. "Along with the new clothes, you will be given new robes to indicate that you have a master and are not some wayward acolyte in need." Iuuna's silver-blue eyes took in Eira's appearance critically. The girl wasn't too thin, but enough that some might find attractive.

"You can wear what you please when you are not in my sights. When you are with me, you will be in uniform." Her tone brooked no argument; it was an order, not a request.

As they walked, Iuuna decided it was time for proper introductions. "I am Iuuna Talon, niece to Srina Talon and member of Clan Talon of Eshan." Her voice carried the pride of her prestigious Echani heritage. Eira was indeed fortunate to have come across a member of such a distinguished clan. Once the acolyte had changed into more appropriate attire, they continued their journey to the sparring chamber.

The academy's corridors were lined with ancient Sith iconography, the walls adorned with tapestries and carvings that depicted the rise and fall of countless Sith Lords. The air was thick with the scent of burning incense and the pervasive aura of the dark side. It was an environment designed to challenge the spirit and fortify the will.

As they neared the sparring chamber, Iuuna turned her attention to Eira. "We'll see to your saber training straight away. Can you tell me what you know of lightsabers, their components?"

The sparring chamber was their next destination and Eira knew that she would be expected to fight. It was not something she was particularly keen on looking forward to but she accepted it was a necessary part of her training. Perhaps under the tutelage of an Echani, Eira could grasp the nuances of melee combat and the importance of being able to cut down those who dared to stand against the Sith. Instead of her plan of just electrifying anyone who dared to step out of line.

Learning of the name and clan that Iuuna came from did not provide Eira with much, she had never learnt more about the Echani other than the basics. The importance of who Iuuna was related to and the power of that name, it went over her head but she did not express that in her face or eyes. Instead she decided to learn about it after this meeting. In order to fully understand the background of her new Master and appreciate the power and honour it was bestowing to Eira to be taught by Iuuna.

Eira could tell the room was routed in deep connection to the Sith, there were markings all along the walls and while she could not read the writing around her, she could sense the power they held and admired the sensations she felt being in the room. This was exciting and she could not wait to begin her true training. To fully explore the Force and what she could do with it when given the opportunity.

"It is a weapon. Plasma, deadly and has many components. It can struggle against cortosis and beskar. As well as some other metals." Eira stated, she had learnt some things about the Sith's weapon of choice, "it is also a Jedi's weapon of choice, they brandish it as a weapon of peace. Which is ironic given it is such a destructive weapon when used in a fight." Eira added in as well, finding the Jedi using the weapon amusing. "I don't know the precise mechanics and engineering of it, I am not super into technology myself. But I also know there is a crystal that powers it."

Iuuna listened to Eira's explanation, her expression a mixture of mild amusement and thinly veiled impatience. The tall Echani woman, with her silver hair and porcelain complexion, regarded the human acolyte with a critical eye. Eira's understanding of the lightsaber was rudimentary, but there was potential.

"A lightsaber is far more than just a weapon," Iuuna began, her voice cool and authoritative. "It is an extension of yourself. Like the Force, it can save your life, guide you, and serve you—if you build it correctly and learn to wield it with precision."

Iuuna walked to a nearby rack, selecting a pair of practice sabers. She tossed one to Eira, who caught it awkwardly, then took up a stance with the other in her own hand. "Now, we begin with the basics. A simple form, Form I: Shii-Cho. It's the most rudimentary of the lightsaber combat forms but essential for building a foundation."

"Follow my lead," she instructed, her tone leaving no room for hesitation. As they sparred, Iuuna began to explain the different components of a lightsaber. "The hilt, where you hold and control the blade. The emitter, where the plasma blade projects from. The power cell, which provides the energy. And most importantly, the kyber crystal. It not only powers the blade but also connects to the Force, attuning the saber to its wielder."

Iuuna corrected her posture, each time she saw the girl move or stand incorrectly, and adjusted her grip, and refined her footwork with the patience of a seasoned instructor. A credit to her aunt's own patience when training Iuuna when she was younger. "The crystal is not just a power source," Iuuna continued. "It is a conduit for your connection to the Force. When you build your own lightsaber, you will imbue it with your essence, making it uniquely yours."

They continued the drill, Iuuna's movements smooth and effortless, Eira's becoming increasingly adept under her guidance. "A lightsaber can be an art form," Iuuna said, her tone softening slightly. "For many Sith, it is not merely technology, but a symbol of their power and identity. Respect it, and it will serve you well."

It was interesting. A lesson that she had to fight and listen to. It was tricky for Eira since part of her was fully concentrating on ensuring she took the correct stances and movements as demonstrated by Iuuna but at the same time, attempting to absorb the information meant that she was concentrating as much as she needed to. There were many errors in her attempts to use the blade, she was rarely making a move without some adjustment but she was at least taking in the information on the Lightsaber well. Understanding the different segments and the crucial roles that these played in constructing the Lightsaber as a blade.

The crystal was the focal point and Eira knew a little on that. Dantooine was home to Lightsaber crystals, they were varied and she knew that Jedi had often visited the world in order to enter the caves and find their crystal. "Do Sith not take crystals and bleed them? Corrupting them?" Eira asked as she had learned the methods of some Sith was supposedly cruel and destructive to the crystals. Though she saw it as a chance to bend a crystal to her will and have the Force bent to her will. Something that felt powerful and a clear demonstration of her power.

"I understand. I will ensure to learn them as best as I can." Eira stated, she was not someone who was naturally a skilled fighter in physical combat, but she knew it would be a wheelhouse that would ensure that she was able to survive if her path crossed with a Jedi. "What are the expectations I should have now as your apprentice? And what are your expectations of me?" Eira wanted to know what it was she must do and what she was to expect now that her training was actually undergoing.

Eira nodded, her concentration evident as she absorbed Iuuna's teachings. The practice session continued, the sound of clashing sabers echoing through the chamber. Iuuna observed Eira closely, noting her progress and potential. Despite her initial disdain for training an acolyte, she found a spark of satisfaction in Eira's determination and growing skill.

Iuuna watched her apprentice, Eira, as she handled the practice lightsaber. The soft hum of the blade cut through the otherwise silent training chamber, a stark contrast to the heavy, ornate halls of the Sith Academy on Korriban. Iuuna's silver hair, tied back in a sleek ponytail, shimmered under the dim, cold lights of the chamber. Her silver-blue eyes, reminiscent of a harsh winter sky, followed Eira's movements with calculated precision.

"Some Sith, not all, bleed Jedi crystals," Iuuna began, her voice as cool and controlled as ever. "But I believe the best crystal is the one you obtain yourself. While, yes, you can bend it to your will by bleeding it, first let us see if you can mold an ordinary crystal to you."

Eira moved through a basic lightsaber form, her slender frame adapting to the weapon with surprising ease. Iuuna continued to instruct her, stepping closer to correct her posture or adjust her grip when necessary. "If you wish to procure a lightsaber crystal, then I will aid you in such an endeavor. Finding a crystal on your own and attuning it to your abilities is far superior in my opinion."

She thought briefly of the Sith who killed Jedi for their lightsabers, seeing it as a waste. The crystal's potential would be lost, rendered ordinary without the personal connection and attunement. Bleeding a Jedi's crystal could serve as a trophy, but it lacked the deeper significance of a crystal won and tamed through one's own efforts.

"Excellent," she said, noting Eira's steady improvement. "Now, as for my expectations, they are quite simple."

Iuuna paused, letting the silence underscore her next words. "Firstly, discipline. You will maintain control over your emotions and your actions at all times. The Dark Side is a powerful ally, but it can also be a destructive force if not properly harnessed."

She circled Eira, her gaze sharp and unyielding. "Secondly, dedication. You will commit yourself fully to your training and to the Sith Code. Half-measures will not be tolerated. Your progress depends on your willingness to push beyond your limits."

Stopping directly in front of Eira, Iuuna met her eyes. "Lastly, loyalty. To me, to the Sith, and to our cause. Betrayal is the quickest path to your downfall. I expect unwavering allegiance."

Satisfied with her apprentice's attentiveness, Iuuna gestured for Eira to resume her practice. "Remember, a lightsaber is more than just a weapon. It is an extension of your will, a manifestation of your connection to the Force. Treat it with the respect it deserves, and it will serve you well."

Iuuna watched as Eira continued her drills, the practice saber moving with increased confidence and fluidity. She saw potential in this human acolyte, and though she remained wary, she couldn't deny the growing sense of satisfaction at seeing Eira begin to grasp the fundamentals of lightsaber combat. For now, she would nurture this potential, molding Eira into a formidable Sith under her guidance.

Iuuna watched Eira intently as she resumed her lightsaber drills. The hum of the practice saber was a rhythmic backdrop to the silent tension in the room. Iuuna's silver-blue eyes, piercing and cold, observed every movement, every hesitation.

"Answer me, Eira," she commanded, her voice slicing through the air like the blade of a lightsaber. "Do you desire to bend the Force to your will? Do you seek the very knowledge of bending the elements to you? Having them at your beck and call?"

Learning more, Eira continued the drills, feeling her body growing warm, sweaty and the clothing clinging to her. She breathed deeply and made sure that her limbs continued to move. This was the most amount of work she had done in a long time. She rarely exercised her body that much, not needing to do farming nor having a liking for it. Eira's most exercise came from walking around and carrying items around. This was very different and she knew she would be getting sloppier and passing her best the longer she trained. Her limbs would only get more tired and sore. However, she was determined to continue for as long as she could and delay the metaphorical wall of exhaustion that many athletes talked of.

"Is the ability to defeat, take and corrupt a crystal from a Jedi not the most powerful demonstrations of obtaining one? Would it not demonstrate the most power an acolyte has?" Eira asked, not thinking either option was terrible, just curious on what were the views on methods and understanding the importance of them. "To defeat a Jedi without using a Lightsaber and then being able to build one based around that victory. It just sounds more empowering than simply finding and claiming a random crystal." There was a dark hunger in Eira's eyes of wanting to humiliate and demoralise an enemy. To take what was most precious to them and turn it into a weapon that would kill others.

However, that was also a path that would lean heavily on Eira being a powerful fighter, something she was far from being called. It was perhaps the dreams of someone naive in the difficulties that she was attempting to set on herself and under the belief that the path to finding a crystal and claiming it would be a simple one. Unaware that neither path would be an easy one.

Hearing the expectations of Iuuna was curious. The Echani was seeking mostly reasonable expectations that Eira one day hoped to far exceed. But the idea of undying loyalty to a person she had met today, that seemed hard. Especially since she didn't even believe she had such loyalty to her own family, her own blood. "What if your actions are one day something I do not wish to follow? What if I see you as being a weakness that harms the Sith and not strengthen it? Am I not suppose to ensure the Order's strength above any loyalty to you?" Eira asked, she knew it was something she would not see for years, if she ever actually saw it. But the question was in her mind and she could not hold back and not ask it.

"I wish for all that. I wish to make my enemies fear me. For them to bend their knees in submission. I seek to crush any who think they can stand in my way." Her voice darkened as she spoke of her dreams, her desires, which only amplified her hunger. Her blood red eyes glinted with ambition and murderous fury as she focused her body in the moment more than before.

"For some Sith, this is the pinnacle of their careers—overtaking a Jedi, taking their life and lightsaber. And then, they are forgotten in the annals of history," Iuuna remarked with cool detachment. She held up a hand, signaling Eira to stop. "They do nothing more with their talents and waste away. However, if you cannot mold an ordinary crystal to your abilities, how are you to bleed a Jedi's crystal? It takes an extraordinary amount of power and skill."

"A random crystal?" Iuuna chuckled, her voice laced with ice. "Darling, there is so much more to a lightsaber than some random crystal." It was clear that this poor unfortunate soul was in need of an education. "Crystals themselves can possess many abilities that are deemed unnatural, most especially those that rare and are not found where the mundane kybers are hulled from." Iuuna motioned for Eira to follow her, floating a bottle of water to her so she could remain hydrated. "If my actions go against the Sith, then I have clearly fallen off a very high cliff and hit my head. I assume if you're killing me, my aunt must have missed, and that is not possible."

"You see, my aunt, Srina Talon, is the Sith Empress. Our clan is among the most noble of Eshan, with the Varanins being the exception as they are the royal line." She explained further, "Your loyalty to me is loyalty to the Sith, to the order, our Emperor and Empress. Your reluctance speaks to your wish and desire to build your own power base." Iuuna chuckled darkly, "Good, you have ambition, but do not let your ambitions blind you to what can be."

Iuuna guided her acolyte from the sparring chamber, continuing to speak, "There are not many non-Echani Sith that I admire, but Before I can regale you with the tale-" It was clear the girl's power for retention was impressive, but Iuuna needed her to understand that there was more to being Sith than simply murdering Jedi and their ilk.

"There is so much more," her voice dripped over the words, "to becoming Sith than purging the Jedi. If you desire to make the galaxy bend to you, then, my dear, you must learn to play the game." Never reveal who you are for, who you are against, never let anyone know what your true agenda is. Iuuna knew the game as well as anyone. "Do you have any belongings here? If you do, I suggest you take them. If not, then come with me. On our way off this tomb world, I shall regale you with the tale of Darth Arcanix ( Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf ) , a human Sith Lord whom I have come to admire."

Seeing the gesture to pause her actions, Eira immediately did so and breathed in deeply. Her body thankful for the respite as she continued to listen to her Master. "I understand." While she did not see herself stopping once she took a crystal from a Jedi, she understood the meaning. There were others that did so and they were not Sith that would bring the Order power and respect. It was understandable and she decided to allow the Force to guide her to either taking a crystal from a Jedi or locating one of her own. Perhaps she would have the opportunity to do both. It was not impossible to achieve that, and it would be a fun goal for her to attempt to reach for.

Perhaps she would do just that.

"It was not reluctance. We have only just met and I did not realise how important the Order was to you and the importance of your familial name." Eira lowered her head, apologising for any offence she risked causing. "I am honoured that you have allowed me to become your apprentice then. I will ensure that I demonstrate the power that a human from Dantooine like myself can bring to the Order." It was a vow, she was promising to do and to demonstrate that she was not someone who would merely be forgotten in a few years time.

Eira wanted to be feared. To be the story of nightmares long after her death. And she planned on her death being a long time from now.

Nodding her head, "I will learn the game and I will play it." She shook her head in response to the question about having any belongings. "I only had this practice saber and the clothes I came in." Eira had not yet gotten the chance to grab anything else. Following her Master, she listened, intrigued about hearing the story of another Sith. One that was still alive and one that was held in high esteem of her Master. Eira made sure to pay close attention and dared not to interrupt. Instead she thought on what would be the chances she would have to meet this other Sith.

Iuuna understood that this was all rather fast and forward; she wanted Eira to adjust. Days like today would not be common, as she intended to set forth a regimented training schedule. She gave a small nod of understanding. It was only fair that the young woman understood the honors she was given on this day. How truly fortunate an acolyte she had become just hours ago. "Good," Iuuna acknowledged. Humans were unpredictable at best, but Sith, even more so. To a degree, she thought anyway. Hearing that the young woman was determined to demonstrate power was a good sign. "Learning when and how to speak, and with whom, will serve you well."

Eira, her acolyte, confessed to having nothing more to her than the clothes on her back and the training saber. "Follow me. We shall depart this tomb world and make our way to Jutrand. It will be a long journey, but I have no doubts about your abilities, Eira Dyn."

The two walked a little further away, leaving the Academy's confines and making their way to the shuttle pad. The Sith Academy on Korriban was a place of dark grandeur and foreboding elegance. Its towering stone walls were etched with ancient Sith runes, casting eerie shadows in the dim lighting of torches and Sith holocrons. The halls were lined with statues of past Sith Lords, their expressions eternally frozen in menacing glares. Echoes of footsteps on the cold, hard floors added to the ominous atmosphere, creating an almost palpable sense of dread and power.

The Academy's central chamber, where many acolytes met their fates, was a vast, cavernous room dominated by a massive statue of Darth Naga Sadow. The statue's eyes seemed to follow everyone who entered, a constant reminder of the Academy's brutal history and the ruthless training methods employed within its walls. Red banners bearing the Sith Empire's emblem hung from the high ceilings, fluttering slightly in the stale air.

Outside the Academy, the harsh, desolate landscape of Korriban stretched endlessly. Jagged rocks and ancient tombs littered the terrain, the remnants of a once-great Sith civilization. The sky was a perpetual shade of crimson, casting an eerie glow over the planet's surface. It was a world that embodied the very essence of the Dark Side—a place where only the strong survived.

"You will be given a stipend of credits to use at your leisure twice a month. Food and accommodations will also be taken care of. There shall not be a single necessity that you will be in want for, Eira," Iuuna assured her. "Inevitably, I shall introduce you to my aunt. She'll likely want to hear of my taking you on as an apprentice. Further, she'll want to meet you in person."

"This is only the first day of your new life, acolyte Dyn." And what a promising day it was.

Leaving Korriban already was a surprise but she did not question it. Clearly Jutrand was the destination she was meant to be, Korriban might have once been significant to the Sith but similar to how the Jedi had many worlds of cultural significance to them, the Sith must as well. She remained silent as she just took in the opportunity to be able to explore a whole new world. There hadn't been much chance to explore Korriban but there was also little to explore Korriban, the planet was a tomb. A place for the dead and little else.

Seeing the statue of Naga Sadow, her gaze looked at the former Emperor of the Sith. She knew little of the Sith monarchs and emperors, there were some that lived through infamy but others that she could barely remember. Naga fell into the former category over the latter, however, Eira did not see the need to respect those that died. Especially since he died to betrayal, he died and the Sith collapsed on themselves and allowed the Republic to win. It was story that was cautionary and explaining the continued folly in some Sith.

That it was rarely the power of the Jedi and their allies that won the day and it was the Sith destroying themselves.

"I look forward to meeting your aunt and I will ensure that I represent you and your teachings with honour." Eira could tell that the aunt was someone of great importance to Iuuna and that ensuring that she made the very best impression in front of Srina, the Empress. It was the second most important thing in her life. The first being the dream she held of becoming the strongest she could be.

"I am grateful for you taking me on. Master Talon." She bowed her head to Iuuna.

Iuuna gave a nod toward Eira, acknowledging the girl's gratefulness. Their journey to Jutrand, the Sith capital, would take time. During this journey, Iuuna would work on guided meditation with Eira and practice lightsaber techniques with her, passing down the knowledge she had been given by her aunt Srina. It went without saying that the combat practices Iuuna taught were Echani martial styles infused with traditional lightsaber techniques.

The meditation sessions were the foundation of their training. Iuuna guided Eira through deep breathing exercises, helping her to focus her mind and center her emotions. She emphasized the importance of inner calm, even when channeling the darker aspects of the Force. They would sit in silence, the hum of the ship's engines providing a soothing backdrop, as Iuuna led Eira through visualizations designed to strengthen her connection to the Force.

In their lightsaber training, Iuuna was both demanding and patient. She demonstrated fluid, precise movements, blending the graceful Echani martial arts with the powerful strikes of lightsaber combat. There would likely be some struggles with it, but Iuuna was relentless yet compassionate, correcting her form and encouraging her progress. Each session left them more attuned to one another's movements.

When it came to Force abilities, Iuuna taught Eira how to harness and control Force lightning, a skill Eira had already shown an affinity for. But she also introduced her to cryokinesis, a key power and trait of House Talon. Iuuna explained the significance of mastering the three elements: lightning, fire, and ice. The process was challenging, requiring immense focus and control, but Eira was a quick learner, and under Iuuna's careful guidance, she began to show promise.

As the vessel traversed the black sea of space, Iuuna found herself reflecting on her own training with Srina Talon Srina Talon . Her aunt had been a paragon of patience and grace, qualities Iuuna now sought to embody for Eira. At first, she had been a reluctant teacher, unsure of her ability to guide someone else. But as the days passed and she watched Eira's progress, Iuuna felt a sense of fulfillment she hadn't anticipated. She realized she was embracing her role as a mentor, much like Srina had done for her.

Iuuna's memories of Srina were filled with moments of gentle correction and unwavering support. Srina had always known when to push and when to hold back, a balance Iuuna strove to achieve with Eira. She saw in Eira a reflection of her younger self, eager to learn and prove herself, and it strengthened Iuuna's resolve to be the best mentor she could be.

Inevitably, they neared Jutrand. The dark silhouette of the planet loomed ahead, a stark contrast to the vastness of space. Iuuna turned to Eira, her voice calm but filled with purpose. "We're almost there. Two things: the first is to make a place for you at my aunt's home. Next, should you wish for it, you'll have my sponsorship to the academy here."

Spending time on the ship, Eira had been able to train in some of the Lightsaber forms, understanding some of the Echani elements that Iuuna was introducing into the forms. They were additions that while Eira was struggling to implement were crucial for in giving her advantages over opponents. While she was never going to be a Sith warrior with the blade, being able to demonstrate Echani level skills in combat would certainly place her enemies on the backfoot. Eira had plenty of questions and worked her body till it was sweaty, exhausted and barely able to keep pushing forward in combat. She was stubborn and making sure to demonstrate her dedication to the training and intense fighting capabilities that she needed to achieve.

Meditation, Eira was a roiling mess of intense and deep resentment and hatred, her mind struggled to settle down and focus on the meditation, wishing to linger in the deep dark emotions that flowed freely through her mind. However, similar to her dedication to the Lightsaber form training, Eira poured everything she had into learning to how to quiet her thoughts and allow herself to meditate. Eira found it was easier to meditate but she also found her emotions and desires were lingering just under the surface.

Learning the Force powers was where Eira was able to show her innate gifts. Learning new powers and harnessing the natural gifts she already had to a high level of control. Eira was strong with the Force and she could tap into the Force with ease, connecting to the hatred and her hunger for power to fuel to dedication to her training in the Force. It was clear that while she was learning Cryokinesis quickly, she was much more skilled in Force Lightning, demonstrating her natural affinity for the power and her desires to harness the lightning effectively and to use it to the maximum levels. There was a glint of joy in her eyes whenever she crackled the Force Lightning and she envisioned the torturous pain she would inflict on enemies with the lightning.

As they neared Jutrand, Iuuna stated where Eira would be staying and that there was an opportunity to be sponsored and attend the academy. "I would be honoured to have your sponsorship, I will do my best to become the very best and ensure I bring the best honours to your name." Eira stated. Determined to finish the academy top of her class and laud over those beneath her how a nobody from Dantooine was a truly powerful Sith. She clenched her fists and felt the desire to prove her place and the mentorship from Iuuna.

Iuuna walked through her aunt's palace with confidence in every step. The ornate halls seemed to echo with each movement, a testament to the grandeur and elegance of the place. "I understand," she addressed one of the staff, her tone firm yet polite. "My aunt is a very busy woman, but please inform her of my arrival. I have someone to introduce her to."

Her faithful droid, K1, had already fetched her belongings. "Yes, little one, you and your friends take our things and place them in my room," she instructed. The droid beeped obediently and rushed off with its companion, R7. "These are K1 and R7," she explained to Eira. "They're truly wonderful servants." Though she referred to them as servants, she valued them more as companions.

"You are about to meet the Empress of our Empire. She may seem off-putting, but I assure you, this is simply Echani nature," Iuuna continued, her words tinged with an aloof and cold detachment that sometimes stung, even when she did not intend it. She aimed to prepare Eira for the encounter, understanding the gravity of the moment.

"Do well at the academy," she encouraged her apprentice. "You will be representing not only myself but our House, House Talon. You will not be like those unfortunate souls who have no sponsor and no master." She knew the desperation of those without guidance. "Our training shall continue as well."

Iuuna guided Eira through the palace, her demeanor unwavering. "First things first," she said, "let's get you into some new clothes. I will do the same. Once we are both properly dressed," she implied clean and presentable, "then we shall go to greet my aunt."
