Strengths:

Weaknesses:

• Volatile: Three crystal structure in the hilt can explode if knocked off alignment. Could cost a hand.

DESCRIPTION

Upon the formation of the Dark Templar and her complete conversion to the Darkside, Karren decided it was time for a newer blade. She set out to collect her pieces and fitted them together. The hilt itself is Ultrachrome and Cortosis to help keep the integrity.

The blade that she sought to make purple is now a pure crimson, due to so many dark influences on the crystals she chose. With Kaiburr, Vextaal and Banes heart shes made an interesting though deadly combination. Wounds struck with Harpie can ail foes for days, weeks or years (PC Discretion).

In addition it hones her connection to the force, and allows her to periodically charge her blade with force lightning for an added effect while in combat. (See limitations above) All in all it is a darksiders blade, meant to cause carnage and suffering.

This sub has multiple imbuements, is made with a restricted material (which is of course allowed at this production level) and can circumvent using cortosis?

I recommend either removing one of the pluses or adding more shortcomings to balance the sub.

I'm mostly interested in PvP settings and this weapon's use. As you know underwater use is extremely unlikely in that context so I don't think that is what overloads the effectiveness of this saber. Basically, that little feature isn't the straw breaking this camel's back.

You have two imbuements along with negating the effect of cortosis. Your citation on how to circumvent that weakness is insufficient. What we see is Mara postulating on how it might shut down a saber. From what I can see it isn't even stated that a saber can be built or used without those circuits. Please feel free to search for evidence that offers more support for your claim. If you cannot I would recommend removing that feature entirely to continue to approval.

Regarding Vexxtal crystals there is nothing in your link that indicates wounds sustained from a saber using these crystals causes wounds take longer to heal. All that is mentioned is very vague, saying that a corrupting aura is left upon those wounded. An aura to me implies a spiritual corruption, not a physical one, but again, if there is anything you can cite that supports your claim please link it so I can reconsider its effects.

Please remove any instances of this in your submission. All damage or negative effects are determined by the recipient of the attack as per site rules. Mentioning this in your strengths is redundant and does not temper the power of your submission stats.


Assuming that further proof cannot be found to support this design, I do realize it is a heavy blow to expect you to cut everything that makes this sub unique. With that in mind if you feel that's the case you can always leave the design as is and opt for a second chance or archive the sub as its redesigned. Please let me know what you think and how you would like to proceed.

As the Wookiepedia is considered cannon and these are quotes or points pulled from cannon I am failing to see how several submissions before mine have passed with the same references to Non Dimetris Circuits and Vextaal, however mine is not. I've even had my first lightsaber pass through the factory with the same Cannon references.

With all due respect, I believe these effects do not break the game nor any major rules as no character can inflict damage upon another without their consent. That is specifically why the (Up to PC preference) is in there. I have no history of abusing submission prior either,

I understand you are doing your job. No hard feelings. It feels a bit nitpicky to me though.
