Harvest

[Matsu Ike]

They had been working to grow and harvest nysillin flowers for healing herbs as she looked over the things. Getting them in the shadow of the mines so they could use the defenses for the mines to protect the flowers. The large mining droids harvesting a large amount of phrik and aurodium for use and loading onto the large mining haulers they had to transport to the processing facilities. The jedi healers who were working with her on finding ways to use and harvest the flowers were a help in the end as Matsu snipped one of the flowers smelling it.

The nysillin was coming in well as the jedi knight stood in her new body armor. All of it made to work well for them as she was looking over the different things with her attention. The gleaming dark colors offset by many of the things before she stood out with some of the droids and was checking the crops they had been able to get. The jedi knight when she lifted one up setting it into a basket for them to start processing. The machines were there to harvest more of them but they needed to work on some of the things with it to try and make better healing products for use int he medical ships and hospitals.

Harvesting the flowers with the jedi knight Matsu took a small moment to admire her work, the bodysuit they had made for her was a slightly complicated and compared to many powerful light armor that could beat most others out of the water. Still plenty of features on it as well though while she was working over some of the things they could use. She planned to finish and work on more upgrades for some of the weapons and gear with more interest until she had some of them. "We should be able to begin processing them into the materials we need to work with. Do you have an idea of the best ways to use these?"

"I can think of a few ways to work with the flowers." The jedi knight knew how t use most of the healing technology they had and the medicine but the flowers didn't exactly come with an instruction manual. She could maybe grind it up and make a salve or maybe it would work better as. "There are different things it might be useful as, I'll have to experiment with it." The ideas were coming a mile a minute but it wouldn't matter if they didn't harvest enough of the crop going forward. "We just need to get eough for experiments of course." That would be the real trick and she was looking over some of the things now as the sound of mining droids loading more phrik for them to use in things came.

Getting it into an IV could be useful, or maybe a salve it could be used to spread on and coat the wounds, like bacta but they would have to be able to see and work with the force energies. There was a number of things they could try while she was working on it and thinking about the things. She had gotten more of the flowers and rubbed hands together checking them while she motioned over the droids. "we have a full thing, direct the droid into how it should process the flowers and seeds and we'll be able to keep it up for use." She wasn't exactly certain but she'd be able to think of ways to watch and monitor what was being done.

They had more then enough flowers to begin working on things and continue to make crops. In truth she was hoping for something along a garden ship or bay they could grow these in bio-domes and cubes on worlds across the galaxy. Give the locals things to work on and they make credits or have things for themselves. "This will do for now." She was moving and there was the small medical droid they could begin working with as she brought up the information having them bring the crates of flowers with the crates of phrik. A nice way to protect both while taking them to the cargo and medical ships set down at the space port. "We are ready to head out when you are."

Matsu moved with her and had her thing of harvested flowers, the buds, seeds, stalks could all be useful for testing purposes and she bowed her head. "I have plenty here." Looking at the phrik they were loading up and the flowers she movitons for them to plant one seed from each flower so they could have anew crop when she found herself returning here to the planet to check on things. Throughout the galaxy they could work on getting the flowers up to grow and making more then enough of the crops to fund cheaper hopefully better hospitals in their medical research division.

The trip towards the shuttle to take them back to the ship was loaded with crates of phrik as the jedi knight stood there. Checking her bodyarmor with a nod od her head seeing the self repairing kinetic netting was a plus with the black and purple. It might not be the ideal jedi armor or outfit but it protected her and provided a service to what she needed in the longer run. Which was a steady supply of bacta from the processing implant for the pain in her body from illness. Anya's holocron only going so far in the long run for building up her healing abilities and managing her symptoms from being sick was easier then trying to find a miracle cure.

The ship was loaded and Matsu was standing next to the jedi knight while she looked over the flowers they had harvested. A nod of agreement on her face though with it all as she was moving forward. "We should be able to thanks to your work with Sakura find plenty of uses for this and move forward with synthetic bota creations.. Or at least at the attempts of it. We will want to be able to try and get it at least. We'll also be able to work on stronger upgrades to some of the things like the phrik crushgaunts for the jedi if they continue to encounter the vong." They had so many things they could work on and upgrade. Matsu was predicting a busy several months within the order.

The phrik would come in handy but she could work on other sectins to bring it about and use it. Changing it over in her hands and mind while breaking down the flower for the droid to observe and repeat. The stalk, the seeds, the bloom and the leftovers were there for them to use in the different positions. She could think of other uses for the flowers in patients as she finished up and they had all the stuff they needed. "It will work and if not we have the synthetic bota project as well as the synthetic fire crystals. Those will easily serve us well in the end compared to some of the other things." She had to say it with pride, healers and medics were good but equipment to help was better.
