Have we witnessed the start of a new Mandalorian War?

Yah.. so, have we? In case you have been deprived of internet for the past several days, read this thread.

The mandos seem pretty hell bent to stir something up. Bringing a fleet to Coruscant sounds like a bad sign that things are going to turn south. I think it would be fun to measure everyone's IC reactions in a thread at the Jedi Temple, and possibly discuss what is to be done from our character's point of view. Anybody interested?

crap.

*looks at history* Revan only took a part of the jedi, and many were reluctant. Like it or not, we've got an entire order prepared to whoop a man's rear at the sign of any threats. Are they sure they want to do this?

I made quite an IC reaction via my senator character to this, the Senator of Kuat accused the Jedi of violating the treaty by going to Etti IV.

Can anyone put up a link about this IC 'treaty' that supposedly existed between the Mandalorians and the Republic?

There was no IC treaty. It was OOC and I don't know if there's any logs left.

I don't think we understand the gravity of the situation. Literally every Mandalorian is ride-or-die, none of them will oppose the fight. They have to come fight. They're not like us, where people disagree, and can fight or choose not to. They all are literally all for this, and have been for a while now. And they're pretty good at what they do, and plus, there's a lot of goings on.
Until Gil (Gilamar Skirata, Mandalore) gets back from his LOA, I think we might be safe from a horrific and galaxy-encompassing war.

Considering that the Fringe/Mandalorian alliance is thiiiiiisss close to happening, the OP not being happy with the Republic turning it's back on them, the CIS losing their Mando ties...

Could get pretty ugly.

(plus the staff are kind of manipulating it all)

If we had our Jedi and a decent military, we could honestly take on all other factions at once. (Not that I want that to happen.) If we take on the Mandos alone, we can win. If the Fringe allies with them though, it could be rough.

Honestly, if it comes to it, Sarge will lead the charge.
