The grass parted hither and also thither as the small shuttle set down on a windswept rise. The Jedi inside was still in training, the New Jedi called her Padawan, she called herself Apprentice. This terrain was by far more pleasant than Jakku, but she also noted that there was not a running water source within walking distance. To compensate, she slung her canteen over her shoulder. She would have a little walking to do today.

Reports had come in, via independently verified Force visions, of Sithspawn massing on this distant world. It was not considered a priority, so the mission was placed into a group from which independently minded trainees could try their feet on relatively safe missions. The Sithspawn in question were not supposed to be be particularly dangerous, and seen in both visions grazing at night. So she had arrived during this side of the worlds day, early morning to be precise.

The creatures had found a shaded spot in the woods, a the base of her hill, and were already settling to sleep under the canopy. Cerys walked slowly towards the treeline, and kept her mind open towards the creatures.

“How…in the Force…did you all…get here?”

They were magnificent creatures, she observed, even as she kept her distance in the sunshine beyond the edge of the forest. A DNA sample was all she was here to get, so that the scientists back in the Jedi Corps could do analysis. It was a small mission, an easy task. It was a new thing to have resources like science labs at her disposal, or rather for she to be at the disposal of those resources. Still, it was nice to be busy…and alone.

"They got here, because I brought them here, and live here for now." said Cameron, as he came out of a small wooden house he had hidden with the force from detection while he'd been inside, and cloaked with an illusion. As he stepped out, he had a frown on his face as he looked at her. "You are the second force user on the light side to bother me because of the Bovians." He groaned. "What is this, bother the Ex Sith week or something?" He groaned, as he said those words and stared at her for a moment.

He didn't have a light-saber belted at his waist. This would make it clear he wasn't a Sith. He was however, wearing a black robe with gold trim in the style of a Sith, as he looked at her. A slug thrower was belted at his waist.

Her form grew instantly rigid, and eyes darted towards the man that suddenly appeared. She listened intently but did not move quickly. Instead, he turn towards him was slow and measured. He did not seem to be threatening her, but then he did not seem to not be threatening her. Surely, it was better to make a friend than foe.

“If you didn’t want people to come calling…then you sure chose a strange hobby…”

Instinctively, her head tilted as she examined the man. His weapon was a serious threat to a Jedi, too many fragments to catch all over them, especially at close range. She decided to stay where she was and keep her distance.

“…I’ll just be taking a sample…from one of the Bovians and be heading off. No need for this to be awkward.”

"But you taking a sample goes against my plans for the creatures. After all, it would allow you to replicate them genetically which would violate my ownership of the creatures." Cameron frowned, as he looked at her. "Especially as they are one of my few sources of income, at present."

"Money whcih I actually do need to live off of."

Without thinking about it, Cerys’ hand was on her hip and her eyebrow rose in defiance to the man’s words. She had been sent on a mission and she was not about to go give in so easy. It was then that a thought occured.

”So…you are telling me…an ex-Sith with money problems…is breeding Sithspawn creatures in huge numbers…on a distant world?” Cerys said with a slowly forming smile, “I am not sure I need a sample…with intel like that…I can have a team of Jedi here to deal with this problem.”

"What precisely are you planning?" Cameron was nervous about whatever she was cooking up. After all dealing with one Jedi was bad enough - because he didn't have a lightsaber and thus couldn't afford a duel with the Jedi or Sith at present. Gaining a new one was high on his priority list - especially when an opportunity to do so presented itself in the near future. He knew he needed to, but he hadn't had the motivation yet. He'd have to prepare for getting a lightsaber in the near future mentally and emotionally. It kind of made sense to gain a new one.

He wasn't who he had been in the past, after all. "Here is what I'm breeding them for." He held out his hand. Using the force he pulled a few containers from his house. One contained the milk of the Bovians - which would taste good. It was also fresh, but safe to drink. Another contained a Bovian Alfredo sauce that he had painstakingly made the recipe of, and would soon start selling. The third container contained a Bovian Mushroom and Swiss Wrap. "Feel free to eat."

Her hand came up. “No, thank you. I am on a mission…and my part has already been fulfilled.” She was not about to start eating food prepared by someone that had admitted to have been a Sith at one point. She had no back up after all.

She walked backwards up the hill, hand held up to tell him not to approach any closer.

”What happens due to the report I bring is not up to me. I cannot say. But I will do my duty.”

Her ship was not far away, only over a couple of hills. But walking backwards up the hill and away from the former Sith was a slow endeavour.
