Having some fun in the SJO

Bentil wandered around the halls of the SJO HQ on Kashyyyk, he was looking around at everything in amazement, this was so different from the Chiss buildings, and so much stuff, he passed rooms where people were meditating, training and simply talking.

He ended up in the library and looked around at all the holocrons for awhile before he continued exploring, he was here for the life day festival but came a few days early so he could explore, there were people going around getting ready for said festival, he was excited but had yet to find what he was looking for.

After about 20 minutes he found what he'd been looking for, a empty training room, he went to a panel on the wall that had a list of training options, he found the he was looking for, hover balls, well that's what Bentil called them anyway, he'd never had proper training equipment so this was all very exciting for him, he fired up five of them and pulled out two lightsabers, his green in his right hand and his purple in his left, he spent awhile blocking and deflecting shots when he got a little to into it and cut up two of the droids, he looked around a little panicked not sure what to do "I'm gonna be in huge trouble" he said aloud.

While things had been decidedly better for Eenia over the past couple of months, she still wasn't quite the same. Not that anyone could really blame her for that, all things considered, but this time of year used to be her favorite. And now? Well, she was fully and completely dreading the idea of the Life Day festivities that were lurking in the near future.

Not that it really mattered, worse case scenario? She just didn't go. Its not like she would be sorely missed, after all. Though that wasn't as grim a thought as it seemed. Nia had merely distanced herself from all but a handful or so of people. So if she didn't show up to some fancy party? Well, who would really notice?

But right now, she needed to get her head back on straight, and she needed to get her physicality back up. She was doing better, not as stiff anymore as she had been when she first started training again, but there was still discomfort in the way she needed to move sometimes. Honestly she wasn't sure if it was a need for more training, or due to some deeply rooted hesitation. Whatever the case, when she came to the training room she was most familiar with, she stopped short.

Eenia had walked in just in time to watch training droids fall apart, and her brow creased as she looked from them, to the guy responsible. She didn't recognize him, so whether he was new or visiting was up in the air. "Nah," she did let out and waved a hand dismissively. "You'd be surprised how many of those things get blown up on accident - or on purpose - depending on who's training at he time. So slicing one up shouldn't get you too much flack."

Bentil jumped a bit and turned sheepishly "yeah, sorry, I'm here for the festival but thought I'd come early to see what this place is like" Bentil said as he walked up to the girl "Bentil Mortop, is this scheduled training or something, i can leave if you want..." He trailed off at the end, he glanced her up and down, she was a few inches shorter and Very pretty, he stood there a little speechless staring at her then when he realized he was staring quickly looked at his shoes "sorry" he mumbled.

It was very difficult for Eenia to keep her warm composure when he spoke up as to why he was here, but she managed. Of course he was here for the festival. She should have guessed that right off the bat, but hadn't even considered that was the reason. "Eenia Vahn," she told him in reply, and she even managed a polite smile. "And no, there's no scheduled training today, at least not for me, and not in here." she assured him. "I just made my way here, thought I might do some things to clear my head."

She didn't elaborate as to why, considering they had just met. Though when he seemed to stare at her, Nia's brow creased, but her smile didn't wane any. "Sorry for what?" she asked, then realized before he would be able to answer and she shook her head. "Never mind, don't worry about it." she assured. "So you've never been here before?" changing the subject seemed to be a good idea to help him save face. "As in to the Rest, or to Kashyyyk in general?"

[member="Bentil Mortop"]

"kashyyy, I'm new to the Galaxy" he said then figured it might confuse her so he elaborated "see I'm from the unknown Region's, this is all very new to me, we didn't even have any training droids there" he said "i i learned all i knew about lightsaber combat from my moms old book" he said twirling his lightsaber (while it's off) "so what's it like here? You know being around other people like you?" He asked

[member="Eenia Vahn"]

Well, that certainly explained a lot about his mannerisms. But curiosity gripped Nia and her head even canted a bit to one side. "You learned what you know from a book?" she questioned, then made a soft sound in her throat. "That's...really pretty impressive." And it wasn't her being a smart ass either. To learn anything about lightsabers and the Force from a book couldn't have been easy.

But, he had asked her a question, and it caused Eenia to shrug her shoulders. "It depends, really. Sometimes it can be really great, other times it can be intimidating or downright daunting." It could be mind and body shattering too, but she didn't bring that up, considering she didn't know this guy and she didn't want to elaborate what she would mean by saying it. "So you've never been around other people who are Force sensitive?" seems they had plenty of questions for each other at the moment.

[member="Bentil Mortop"]

"uhh, nope, i learned form three and force heal from my moms old book and the Chiss taught me how to use precognition and telepathy" he said, he left out force choke and lightning after what happened last time he was here.

"Honestly I've never been around other humans until i came into the Galaxy, just Chiss, I didn't even get to know a whole lot of them, kinda just closed myself off to work on ships, ohh! Speaking of other humans, what's it like being around your own kind?" He asked, he really hoped he wasn't annoying her but once he started it was hard to stop

[member="Eenia Vahn"]

There was a moment - a brief one - when Eenia's defenses reared. Thankfully it was just a flare up, and easily controlled, and it looked like nothing more than her shifting her footing as she listened to what was being said to her. Old memories of stories and things that didn't really pertain to this person across from her.

So instead, she focused on the questions being asked. "Some of the others are okay," she answered him. "There are people you can trust and rely on of course, but then there are people who should just be avoided at all cost." Again, that was teetering dangerous lines. "But for the most part, being around others is okay."

Nia seemed to think for a moment, "What made you leave and venture out into the galaxy?"

[member="Bentil Mortop"]

"Restlessness, my life was wake up, build and repair ships, and occasionally help the Chiss with navigation, now don't get me wrong, loved it, but i just knew there was more out there so i came to find it, and i did, a whole galaxy just waiting for it's secrets to be uncovered" he said with a far away look then said "but what about you? The the Silver Jedi Order?" He asked, he'd never been to a order of force users so he wanted to know why other people like them

He had her there; Eenia had only been to a handful of places herself. She had come from home, to Kashyyyk, and only saw other places when out on a mission or training of some sort. "That's understandable." she then sighed through her nose and looked towards the door she had come through for a moment before shifting her focus back onto him.

"My Force use blossomed pretty late. My older sister had shown signs and was brought to Kashyyyk, and her being gone didn't right with me. It made me feel crazy, and soon enough I was brought here too." She lazily extended a hand and with the gesture of two fingers used telekinesis to pick up two halves of one of he destroyed droids. "I haven't really been much of anywhere, and never for anything more than missions or training. The Silver Jedi Order has been here to get me through some pretty rough and dark times though, so it's home."

[member="Bentil Mortop"]

"you wanna train? I'm still trying to get these lightsabers to feel right" he said showing her the two "now don't get me who, I'm pretty good with form three but i know i could do better if these lightsabers felt right, guess i just need more practice" he said half to himself and half not then without thinking he said "your really pretty you know that" as soon as he said it his mouth opened a bit like he was going to say something else but nothing came out great, now she's gonna think your some weirdo from the unknown Region's, way to go Ben he scolded himself

[member="Eenia Vahn"]

"Don't beat yourself up about it, I'm not good at any form." Eenia admitted to him with a shake of her head. "Lately I'm just trying to get back into shape, and it's been a long, rough road trying to get my body to move like I want it to." Considering the way she had been injured in her fight with her sister, that was understandable - along with everything else, for that matter.

Anything else she could have said died out though when he told her she was pretty. For a moment she blinked at him, and then she ducked her head just a little and smiled. She was just as good with telepathy as she was telekinesis, but she didn't want him anymore flustered than he had just made himself. "Thank you," she told him. It was a nice thing to hear, really. "I'm going to take a guess and say that you haven't been around a lot of girls..."

[member="Bentil Mortop"]

He laughed nervously "no, i was the only human there and i kept to myself in the shop almost all the time, i wasn't ever really around anyone" then he thought "but your way prettier then the girls there, anand a whole lot nicer" He thought but realized something, he'd just said that to her brain, he knew because of how it felt, it was like a light breeze of his thoughts going straight to her brain, now he was really embarrassed

The Chiss were good teachers, they taught him how to use precognition to it's fullest but also taught him how to use telepathy, the only problem was they only taught him how to send thoughts at will, they never taught him how to Not send thoughts, so every now and again when he was nervous he's nervous he'll accidentally send his thoughts to who he was talking to.

[member="Eenia Vahn"]

Nia felt it that time, the awareness that radiated from him when he realized that she was privy to his thoughts. "I get that a lot," she told him, then made a noise and was quick to clarify. "The nice bit, I mean. Not the other." Her head shook and she waved a hand about it. "You should have met me a couple of years ago. You probably would have liked me a whole lot better then."

Eenia was most definitely a few personality shades darker than she had been back then. But, she was getting better. She was by no means her old, bubbly self, but she was no longer the stoic, monotonous, empty shell she had become either. Still a work in progress, but getting better every day.

Her body shifted, the droid pieces were dropped back to the floor, and she took a couple of steps away. "You're a mechanic then? Or...an engineer, I guess is the more proper title. Sorry...you haven't dealt with many people, and I haven't dealt with many people who aren't Master, Padawan, Healer, or affiliated some way or another..."

[member="Bentil Mortop"]

"ship mechanic, i know a bit about lightsabers,mine anyway, and basic engineering but my specialty is ships" he said sheepishly "anyway, are you going to the festival at all? I'm not sure why I'm going honestly, I don't know anyone here or really in the CIS either" Bentil said, he hoped she was going, it would be nice to not just be wandering around the entire time.

He his thoughts flashed to some of his abilities and he got even more nervous "hey so in there was this one time when i first got here and i was on a planet in your territory when there was a robbery, so i stopped it with the force but all the people were really afraid and the authorities came at me, is it only legal for people apart of the Silver Jedi Order to use force powers?" He asked

[member="Eenia Vahn"]

A noise was made in Eenia's throat when the Life Day festival was brought up. Honestly she had, had no intentions of going. While she didn't particularly need someone to go with, she didn't particularly want to go on her own either. And then there was the possibility of her sister showing up too, and while the idea of reconciling sounded good, she wasn't sure how Anora would feel about it, considering what had happened. "I might go," she settled on with the shrug of a shoulder. "I'm sure something entertaining will happen throughout."

The subject kind of died out when she got flashes from him again, and she blinked a few times as she tried to sort through the images. But his question confused her and her brow creased. "They...what?" her head shook. "I...I'm not certain? I haven't ever really asked about the laws anywhere else concerning the Force...I never really thought that it would be a problem anywhere..." Apparently that was something she was going to need to ask her Master for future reference.

[member="Bentil Mortop"]

well you could go with me....like a...date?" He said kinda regretting it right after he said it come on Bentil! You know girls don't go on dates with random guys they just met, know she's gonna think your crazy AND weird. He looked at his feet.

"You, want to train?"he asked quickly hoping she wouldn't jist run ot of the room after what he just said, he used the force to push the button on the wall causing four little laser shooting balls to come out and got on either side of them.

Well, that hadn't at all been what she was expecting to say the very least, and it shown on her face. She was surprised, and not rudely so, just very seriously, shockingly surprised. And then her expression smoothed slowly and she smiled warmly at him in response before she opened her mouth to speak. "Well, I can't promise date status, but I'm not opposed to going - so long as that doesn't offend you, of course." She didn't know him well enough to consider dating, but while she didn't particularly want to go to this thing, she knew what it was like to want to go and not have someone to go with.

But his cover question was quick, and she didn't have time to answer before the droids came back to life. Eenia's lightsaber ignited, the power turned down and the yellow blade hummed as she shift her stance in preparation to protect herself from the stinging bolts that were about to start being fired at them.

[member="Bentil Mortop"]

Bentil ignited his purple lightsaber and git in his stance "no, I'd be happy if you went with me at all, sorry, i was always told i was impulsive, i tend to say things without thinking" he said blocking the multiple shots that came at him, with his mastery of precognition and his skill in SoreSu he blocked the shots with ease, another 4 small bots came out and he got so into it that he slid under them sending a torrent of lightning at two of them shorting them out and said "sorry! I did it again!" But a couple more came out so Bentil pulled out his green lightsaber focusing on deflecting

Tag [member="Eenia Vahn"]

"Don't apologize for being impulsive." Eenia let out. "Its kind of a refreshing change." she admitted. Most people she was around were older than her, and all very wise, calculated, and well thought out before they said or did anything. So to have someone impulsive around was kind of nice.

But her focus had shifted, and she worked to deflect bolts fired at her, and when that wasn't enough she shielded her body easily enough. But when he had moved, and the next thing she saw was Force lightning? Eenia moved impulsively, slipping from one place to the other with teleportation. At least she had learned something useful from the worst period of time in her life.

"Easy with the kill shots!" she did let out in warning. The last thing they needed was to set the room ablaze or destroy something more than a few droids.
