Appearance: Keeping with military standards for hair, West never is seen "out of uniform." He is very clean shaved and tends to look stern the vast majority of the time. This is because his position is always in view of Aran. Having blonde hair and blue eyes, though with the hair it is hard to tell due in part of it being so short. His uniforms are always clean and ironed to the proper standard. The only thing he tends to avoid is the standard hat most First Order officers wear.
Personality: West is completely a by the book officer. He tends to be always trying to brown nose Aran, and strive for promotion. This tends to rub Maree Halsey the wrong way. So he and the XO being Maree tend to butt heads from time to time. While off duty, West has what most would call a "drinking problem," no one really knows why he has this as when it comes to person affairs he keeps them secret. Most believe it is because of the stress Aran puts on him, while on duty.

Combat Function: Being the weapons officer for Aran Piett, this places him in charge of all weapon batteries on the ship. When she ship is boarded he is then also in charge of the Naval security teams. The Stormtroopers however do not fall into his command and report else where. He has been known to run security drills without Aran's permission to keep the naval guards in shape just in case

History: Growing up West was always that kid who was the school yard bully. He would always use his size to push round others, and this led to him running into the law multiple times. Eventually once the First Order came to Bespin, he was given a choice Prison or Service. Not wanting to go to prison he took military service. However once in the service he quickly and harshly learned he couldn't bully his way around. This forced him to change tactics to brown nosing his superiors. Though most would look at it and laugh, some took to and he rose to the rank of Lieutenant, where he was finally assigned to Aran Piett's crew.
