The world of Sekalus was many things in her opinion but none more important then the fun place to be. She had been seeing quite a lot of use of the Rabai here but the vehicle was only serving so much of a purpose. They were looking to well trade it in. It was too large, too clunky and in exchange why not make a super lightweight ground vehicle they could drive in with different guns. It would come in far more handy for the things she was looking to over them... Plus there were mines for phrik here and they that was something that always came in handy same as the crystals within. She was taking a keen interest in all of it while fluttering around inspecting the latest things from the mines they had managed to clear out here in the desert. "You are all doing well, we shall have to see what can be done but I think a bonus is in all of your future." She hovered there pointing to them. "Believe it peoples.... bonuses all around and a pizza party." Yeah there were some cheers and excitement from them but all and all they were doing their job. Making sure the mining droids from Saeko were unloading phrik and crystals to them all.

For some reason Sanya had been called out from the spire to labor work. Something that wasn't scheduled nor planned. If anything she was rather annoyed at the matter. As she was reaching the outer area of the Ilet dunes Sanya was listing the many duties that needed to be done today. Visit the new market area that was been opened up today. Over see the new embassys been refurbished for the republic and gomm. Attend a meeting about a new system that was to identify latent criminal's. That was definitely important to attend to. Apparently along with the system there was a specific tool needing to be made. A weapon that would work with the system that would swap between a lethal and non lethal. There was a lot to be done today to put it simple. As Sanya got closer to one of the phrik mines that had been cleared out of the Charon in the past few months she was surprised the mine wasn't already empty from the outpost close by. If anything Sanya was more curious to know if a permit to mine there had been sorted. It was under a new policy that was put in place to protect the miners.

Sheila continued to flutter around with the others for a few moments as the mining droids they had and the human workers got into things. CHanging shifts as well as equipment when she went through some of the crates sitting on the shoulder of one of the droids. The queen was coming which would prove helpful as Sheila looked at them working on some of the other things there. The Rabai transports for all of the things were being loaded up getting some attention from the small jedi knight until she was looking up. The sounds of the machinery came to all of them there though as she could see the phrik ore being loaded in the crates. The crystals being shipped in from the polar regions mines that they had for shipment out to some of the jedi gave them plenty of chances to work on things. SHe knew many of the things the jeid could make with all of the materials were something cool to see. CHanging things over for everything while also seeing what was left with the Black Rose in the sector or the Vitae. They had been moving around to discovery everything they could find or explore. Setting up the more interesting things like research outposts or exploring the other regions of the galaxy around this sector.

Her ship soon came in for landing close by all the equipment. Collecting her things she powered down the ship and stood up. Sanya made her way through the ship flicking the floor controls in the cargo bay. Slowly the floor would lower down with Sanya looking very unammused. Walking off she approached a set of people working. "Where's the boss?" She said in an annoyed tone. The man simply pointed towards the cave entrance. Without a second look she would storm her way over there. "I'm looking for the person in charge of this?" She said at another group. With them was an unusual species. It was small and dainty with wings.

Dropping her head into her hand as she shook it Sanya would sigh. "You gotta be kidding me right. Your the one who pulled me out this fa.. you know what I don't care. Two questions, one have you go a permit to mine. Two what the he'll was so important you have me drop two meetings with potential buyers and lunch." She said with frustration. First things first if the bug didn't have a permit it would be arrested. Although finding a cell would be difficult.

Sheila was looking around as they moved, full attention on some of the things with a small grin of attention to the others. The miners were getting to work with some of the better equipment they had designed including the hydrocutter. A great way to cut the stone away from the ore and get less impurities. There was also the mining droid that worked hard as the massive thing rolled through and she heard a voice. Kind of loud for her liking but she could work with it while turning towards the woman. "Yes we have a permit, we have everything needed. We just also have the work and we know how people really like to double check. Some are so paranoid they don't trust their own mothers of family.. and I should know I have two hundred brothers and sisters." She continued to flutter around and work with some of the things before flying over towards Sanya and getting some of the attention glowing a little golden. "I am Sheila and that is all you get, my last name is hard to pronounce and long and in my culture mispronouncing it is a grave insult so protect others from making that mistake is the first thing. I am one of the people who work with Sasori and we have been finding some cool things down there... like husks from large insects and other crazy stuff."

Ayumi Pallopides

Heir to the Emperor, Former Senator of Denon
Ayumi had arrived in grand fashion to the world, letting the Denon workers get in there and work on getting them into a protected area where they could unload the mining equipment with plenty of time to build up some of the larger things. They were here for a purpose... mostly she had found that purpose was being cool and alright but the Enclave needed an identity so here is where they could earn it. Somewhat the original idea was distinctly Imperial and part of her family since the whole merging of the great houses awhile back. So she was here as the senator of Denon and one of the people in the Republic really providing support to all of it, she wanted to spread what works they were doing on Denon with the superior housing, lower costs to other worlds and showing the higher moral and standard her workers had in operations such as this was one way. Another was showing off to ones like Suravi and Cath how much extra things they had saved credit wise. "Welcome to Sekalus boys and girls, now go get into those mines and help out with the phrik delivery it has been behind schedule and you know how much I dislike being late."

Solia shifted in her blue senate guard armor as she walked behind the Senator, keeping in step with three other guardsmen as they maintained a steady pace with the representative of Denon. The duty of keeping the senators of the Republic safe was perhaps the most dangerous one a member of the Senate Guard could undertake. It was simply difficult to always be aware of threats that may or may not exist, especially when VIPs like Senators had rather spontaneous schedules that could change on a whim to meet with someone or to ensure a political end was met. The position was even more risky whenever a Senator stepped outside Republic space, where military assets were fewer if their support was needed in a time of crisis.

Still, for others it was the opinion that safeguarding a senator was more fulfilling. You got to travel more, the schedule was less rigid, and while the risk was high the actual number of times something happened was few and far between. Especially when trips were known about ahead of time and security could be properly taken care of with coordination with planetary security, keeping plain clothes agents nearby and overwatch in speeders or rooftops, etc. Nonetheless, Soell felt a little nervous considering Sekalus was often a magnet for those with ill intent to ruin an otherwise fine day. On the other hand though, if the Senator was able to help get the phrik development completed to benefit the Republic then it was a worthwhile trip to be sure.

Everything was going on so well as Sheila fluttered around with Ayumi here and one of the senate guards this could all be going a whole lot faster then she thought originally. Sheila stopped for a moment from her hyperexcited nature and offered a small look of amusement seeing some crystals being loaded up as well as the enclave knights protecting the soldiers while she pushed over with some of her ideas to offer for making their equipment. The As-Aki landed on the shoulder of the one getting a smaller look from the woman when she tapped the side of her face with full attention to the smaller details. "So how is everything looking from here knight ah I forgot your name... I am so sorry." The knight looked at her for a moment and then spoke offering a small smile before going. "It is Lucy, Knight Lucy of the Jedi Force enclave." Sheila gave a nod of her head while she tapped her on the shoulder. "Alright then Lucy lets go and have some fun come on, we have crates of phrik to bring back to the Republic and Sasori for some of the better designs and tests. I am looking at the good stuff we are doing before and I think with this and the right amount of sabers we will be able to design plenty to fight the One sith or any of the other groups that will try and challenge us."

Ayumi looked at the guard there while she stood and her private guards were there, all of their hard work on what she could do from Denon. "It is alright." She said it looking at the girl who was one of the newer guards she had not seen before. Attention to the small details and there was a small look at some of the things. "Don't be so nervous we have plenty to work with here and this world despite all of its problems can be a good place to go for not being observed. The blade we are seeking to make for the senate guards to be able to use will help you with some of the purposes." Ayumi stayed off towards the sides of the mining area where they had ships being loaded up with her hand bringing out the prototype of the blades. The twin design made to connect the blades and provide a contoured grip with biometric sensors in the hilt so it could be equipped with a trap jolt cell able to when holding it if it wasn't the one assigned to it would shick into unconsciousness the ones using it or without a hand on it that could be read it would not be able to function. The senate guards were skilled but they were always something new to have for themselves to defend their charges.

Soell looked to the senator when the other woman addressed her, perhaps noticing her somewhat anxious stance as if she expected to take action at any moment. Could the Denon representative blame the Echani girl anyway? Too many. . .unsavory types targeted Sekalus for the mere reason of trying to make themselves look like big bad powerhouses when they ended up looking like desperate attention seekers who could accomplish their means in much simpler and less collateral fashion. "I apologize if I seem out of place Senator Pallopides, escort duty for a senator is usually more dangerous on average and this world wrongly finds itself plagued by the galaxy's filth too often. I am pleased to see the Republic is able to receive support though and I believe the Senate Guard as a whole is appreciative of the new equipment being put together." Nonetheless it was still a little bit dangerous, and Soell was unhappy with how much more difficult it was for soldiers to accomplish their missions because of the seemingly ridiculous number of force users cropping up everywhere with their weapons that required so much work to counteract.

Sheila stayed with the enclave knight as the two of them were nodding their heads in enjoyment of the moment just two broing out on all of the cool things and putting forth a few of the better ideas here and there. Sheila was also working with him while he was checking the blade design they were working with allowing it to gleam from the sharpening to have everything set up. The super lightweight frame that kept it nice to carry around as opposed to something ten times heavier, the lightsaber resistant materials that would push it forward as one fo the several ways to counter force users and the best part was the contoured grips that were made to form to the hands and allow the superior grip with small biometrics when they were going to get around to it. She had to admit that Sasori was giving them the works on how to really push everyting into a beefier version of itself and they were making all of the things Sheila wanted to do against some of the more dangerous foes they had involve some sort of battle. Hmm maybe she would start meditating and learning the truest force of the lightside with enlightenment and if she was good push towards force melding and battle meditation or better yet just being one of the more awesome jedi masters within the republic.

"Yes it does doesn't it." Ayumi was thinking about it and working on some of the things they had now with all of them. She could see the crates there that the enclave knights were working with before she moved over near the senate guard and placed a hand on her shoulder with a small grin on her face before she looked out at the guard. "It might not seem like it though but this is something that we should do, the places where scum, shutta's and just generally the people who like to feel better about their own low self esteem but going after others... well they usually get it in and end and people get tired of their antics. The trick is to just ignore them and find ways to let it go to bypass all of the stuff." Then she was looking at her before she pushed a few thoughts to the side looking over the bigger things. "Hmm though we we do have chances though to ensure you get to test out your skills as well. I know there are some special things that have been in the works that Sasori has been wanting to make for us in the senate as well within the senate guards and commando's." Ayumi had been designing a new jacket for herself using the designed mesh that sasori was making and with the undersuit she would be able to have it sealed with a rebreather mask.

As much as Soell agreed with the Senator's sentiments, the senate guardswoman did not actually agree with what was being said. After all, it was her job to worry so that she could ensure the safety of the VIPs and the citizens around her. Ignoring troublesome elements was a dangerous concept and not one the Echani woman was certain she would actually support. Just like she wasn't certain at all she was comfortable with the idea of being used as a test subject for new equipment. Gear and better arms and armor was great to have, but it was less . . . . .enjoyable to be the one that wound up ensuring it was safe and actually usable. That was what droids and other tests that didn't use a live subject were for. "Oh? Well Senator those sound very interesting. What sort of equipment are you talking about? Has Sasori been working on this for a while or is it a recent project of theirs?" Soell wouldn't just be rude about it, she'd at least hear everything out. Still, her eyes would glance around casually as she surveyed the area like she knew her fellow guardsmen were doing. Although things seemed to be going well enough for now.

Looking at them all as Sheila fluttered giving a few moments tot he bigger things when she was landing on the crate with a bow of her head. She was looking at the ones there while in the mind the grandmaster of the enclave was here with her to work on some fo the things. "All of this working so far out in the galaxy. I will admit that I am impressed with some of the engineering that people can find and it is nice and important to see and understand where Sanya comes from." Sheila was looking at him while she landed on his shoulder and one of the first places she was working to see the droids and forgers making the blades to test them out. Droid were important to the process yes but they were stiff in some cases when it came to all of the bigger things. They didn't move like a human, they didn't think like a human on the fly with some of the dangers that could present themselves before she was looking over the grandmaster when he hefted up the lightweight blades swinging it into a rock to slash at it. "Yes, Sanya and many of the others are proving interesting, the order seems to be the place where those who don't have direction come to stay over those who want something... Mostly. Some are just naive and want to be in charge it seems."

Ayumi was looking at her with a small look on her face as she stood near the guard woman. She looked down at her more impressed before she brought her hands out and brought them to grip her shoulders with a small smile. "Well you only have to be my test subject if you want to be. Not going to make you strip naked with me, get oiled up and wrestle to test and show that the blades are very impressive." THe senator was saying it with a grin on her face while she looked over a few of the things seeing the first of the blades being brought out for them. The nice coolness of the grips and sections for it, the grip that would fit their hands as well as some of the cooler things... Like the blades that radiated the lightside of the force as well as a calming effect. Ayumi stayed there watching it before she raised an eyebrow backing away a little. "Plus testing with the blades required the important measures of needing human's to test them since a droid doesn't value that aura of calm that it will give them so they do not act in frustration and anger. FOr dealing with enemies that use lightsabers you want to be able to be calm and collected instead of letting them get under your skin.

Soell honestly tried not to laugh when the Senator essentially made reference to them having a grand time in the sheets of sorts. Instead she looked up, scanning the sky and watching the rooftops as she averted her face and bit back the mirth. Which became easy as the representative of Denon continued, making the echani woman more uneasy as she shifted in her blue armor and looked to the other guardsmen's impassive faces as she wondered what their thoughts were. "Performing a live test against lightsabers does not sound safe or reasonable for a test subject. That is a matter of their skill and something to be tested within the barracks not a corporate facility. The blade merely needs to be made correctly, and tested that it actually does the job it is required to, whether or not the intended users have the skill to use it is something that doesn't seem wise to test against a weapon as risky to encounter as a lightsaber maam. I have no problem seeing if the blade's balance and temper is desirable, though I recommend having several test subjects for that since it may differ from person to person and I assume you don't plan for every weapon to be custom? And if you do you'd be testing every blade for the individual anyway."

"i expect every blade to be more or less the same, some small margin for error on it but there is a lot that needs to be done with it. We have training sabers that are at low settings for testing but the cutting power is not there." She stayed at it while moving and looking at some of the other senate guards with a raised eyebrow while she provided a small grin on her face. "As for the rest of you, try them out as well. No sabers but we do want to see how well it can be used with soldiers in armor. The blades are made to be super lightweight while means you might not be able to feel them for that heft or have the benefit of gravity when cleaving someones chest." She wanted to make sure it was an alright setup and blade for that while holding one up and testing it out. Connecting the end pieces before it looked like a blade a warrior race would take and use to wade into throngs of enemies just cutting several down at once as opposed to one on one fighting. It gave the senator a few other ideas in the end of the moment before she brushed her hair back and clearing a little space was swinging it around her back and like a quarterstaff almost. There was still some dangerous parts as one side was a large curved section of blade you had to handle.

Sheila stayed there with the others when the enclave knights and the grandmaster were facing off. The old man stood there holding the blades with a look on his face. The knight was prepared for this and let out a breath while Sheila was watching both of them and spoke. "Ready... Ready." She looked at them prepared for anything when her hand came down with the voice out in a bellow. "And fight." The grandmaster held the blades close when he moved forward and they tested swinging them at each other and blocking. She focused with them offering a small look when the blades clashed together with the sounds of little exertion. The blades were clashing and the grandmaster moved with a fluid grace showing jar'kai skills with his movement but it was more then that. The blades themselves were designed to be used as one, two halves of the same whole that would allow you to move with balance. The lightsided force energies that came off of them were allowing the old man to move while the teenager who was trying to keep up with him. "Be careful, you are hesitating, your thoughts falter and is does not move in sync with your body." He kept up it while allowing more of the energies to roll off of him in a calming effect.

Soell did her best not to sigh at the senator when the point came to light that the blades would be mass produced more or less. It made even less sense for a more practiced sword wielder to determine the weapons effectiveness then. You wanted the more average or the least experienced to be able to use it with ease. The only real revelation that the young echani woman could imagine determining with herself or another veteran of the senate guard tackling the tests was whether or not it would still be good enough for them at the same time. Not that she had any real right to turn the senator down at this stage. After all, she was assigned to her for this journey and if it was what the senator needed that was fine. The real work was being down by the guard members in plain clothes or at the edge of the perimeter for now anyway. "WHat sort of tests do you have in mind then Senator, and where shall we be heading for appropriate data entry of your findings?" Hopefully somewhere not too far since the Denon representative seemed to have had this planned from the start. Soell could say for certain though, she wished the weapon used a straight blade. . . .curved wasn't favorable for a foot soldier.

Sheila watched the ones there as they were heading out seeing the others come to watch the old man duel with the young knight. it wasn't much of a duell and seemed more prolonged because there was no intent to kill or harm. This was to teach and teaching was one of the key aspects of all the jedi while Sheila prepared finding a place to sit down. The blade was far to large for her to every wield but she knew plenty about shaping and molding bone and bark. her people were valued for it and for being spies that could be used to scout out areas a lot better then some of the shadows. "Keep your guard up and remember one hand to parry and the other to attack. Then when you think he has figured out which switch it up and offset him." There were some looks at her while she shrugged. "What I do know how to duel just because I am two inches tall and use toothpicks to kick all of your butts doesn't mean I can't know how to duel or have dueled with my brothers and sisters." She said it and could see the crates being loaded up with plenty of the phrik so they could use all of it as needed and press the small advantages of superior tech and training against some of the other enemies of the Republic.
