CONTENTS
Light Side Alchemized Chalice that purifies any water placed into its recesses, converting it into a potent healing agent that can then be splashed onto significant wounds like lascerations, or consumed to repair minor internal damage.
Healing agent created by Chalice doubles as a liquid that induces momentary intense pain to Sith Spawn, though they will not be permanently harmed
Cannot be sensed through the Force
As long as chalice is gripped in hand, Force Lightning's effects are reduced as if one is wearing an ECS due to the fact the chunk of crystal was grown over capacitance shield parts.
If chalice is pressed directly to their skin, A Dark Sider can experience intense localized pain and burns, depending on the level of corruption within.
Strengths:
That's for Blasphemy!: Splashing the converted water in the chalice on Sith Spawn can cause severe if momentary pain, though ultimately harmless and does not wound
Only the Penitent will pass: Pressing the surface of the chalice against the flesh of a dark force adept can cause second degree burns and extreme pain.
I'm so glad you're not dead!: Gripping the chalice when being hit with lightning grants properties similar to an electrical capacitance shield due to the fact the parts were actually grown over with crystal. But like the belt it can be overwhelmed if the lightning is powerful enough.
Drinking my own health: Splashing the water on an ordinary neutral person or light side adept's wounds, like burns or mid-tier lascerations causes the wound to heal quickly, in the span of five minutes. Drinking it will not only wake you up, it will repair minor internal damage.
He'll blend in, disappear, and you'll never see him again: Enchantments found in books from the Enclave hidden library cache allowed an a stealth enchantment to be applied to the chalice. It can't be sensed through the Force.
You have chosen...wisely: The chalice is innocuous, can be transported easily, and can purify any water put into, it. Combined with its protective features, this makes the chalice a very tempting niche survival tool to carry with you.
Weaknesses:
Don't break the seal!: The chalice can protect someone very well like an ECS...but only a quarter as long as an actual ECS. If it goes beyond that the ECS components in the base will fail. Extremely strong lightning can also completely overwhelm the protective effects.
He chose...poorly: The cup has a considerable weight to it having been enhanced.
Its a race against evil!: If a chalice should spend an hour in a dark side nexus it will be corrupted and usable only by Dark Siders.
It begins with an "I": Ion fire causes the chalice to melt, due to a strange reaction between the ion and the crystal.
It belongs in a museum!: The chalice can be smashed with enough force. Its not indestructible like many alchemized products.
For his glory? Or your own?: Should the user turn to the Dark Side, the chalice will harm them just like any other dark sider.
Our situation has not improved: The chalice will cease to function if entering a force dead area or exposed to Ysalamir.
Let my armies be the rocks and the trees, and the birds in the sky: The Chalice cannot heal wounds that cause too much internal damage. The maximum it can do, is mitigate the damage from slugthrower rounds of low caliber and chemically propelled at that, heal relatively minor, surface lascerations, and second degree burns. If a great deal of wounds are on the user, the chalice can only help so much, and may be next to useless for truly life threatening injuries.
Count to twenty: The chalice takes twenty minutes to purify any water in it into a healing agent.
No ticket: The level of harm it inflicts on a darksider is directly purportional to the level of corruption within said Dark Force Users. Someone who has only begun their journey down the Dark Path won't be harmed all that much while an alchemist of many years experience has a chance of experiencing very intense localized pain and mild burns, though such pain is never incapacitating and can always be recovered from in short order.
DESCRIPTION
Like Consular's Steel, the Healer's Chalice has its roots with an obscure band of abomination-hunting Jedi known as the Resistors of Darkness, who were slain centuries ago by a traitor. A niche, not fully realized concept, The chalice was developed in a combined effort by Maple Harte with Sasori, who created it based off notes and schematics found in a hidden, underground library in the Jedi Enclave, hidden under another library in the sublevel. The Chalice is essentially a heavily enlarged and specialized chunk of synthetic healing crystal of the same type made by Sasori with elements of the Sasori Telchek which has been further altered by Alkahest, grown around parts of an ECS and then enchanted by Maple by using a primitive spell also found in the hidden archives to hide it from being sensed in the Force. In the wake of the GA's collapse, Maple wanted to do her part to help at the very least the higher ranking survivors.
The chalice can protect from lightning for a short time (about fifteen seconds for a fairly average blast) , harm dark-aligned beings if pressed directly to their skin, and its healing agent, which can cure minor wounds, burns, and poisons, is momentarily harmful to the flesh of Sith Spawn. It is hindered by its weight, the length of time it takes to create the healing liquid when water is put in it, as well as the fact it is much more vulnerable than most alchemized items, as well as the fact that the level of harm it inflicts on Darksiders is directly purportional to the amount of corruption within them.
