Healing is Good For the Soul

The young woman never realized how much she was like her mother until now. She wanted to help the citizens of her planet and after a long talk with her husband Sophia realized the path that she wanted to take.

The best way to utilize the little bit of knowledge she had gained by training with a darksider. It had been her plan to take this knowledge to make remedies and help others. The thought of being a healer though like her mother never crossed her mind until now though. It made perfect sense though now that she thought about it.

As such she snuck out someone whom could assist her. Sophia always felt it was better to learn from an actual person than holocron and as such she asked @Manu Xexto.

She was grateful that he was able to take time out his busy schedule to come visit the Sanctuary on Chroma Zed to come teach her. She heard that he was also Echani as was her mother which would make this all more interesting.

Standing in one of the training rooms she waited for his arrival. Sophia as always early as she hated making others wait for her.

Live in Light, Surf Master
The Light seemed to be a rarity in the Confederation of Independent Systems. Surrounded by Darksided Templars, the former Jedi Healer turned Templar Curate had mastered himself and thus he mastered the intense loathing of the shadows. Oh how far the Healer had come to dwell in the den of Crusaders and Curates. How far yet to come? The seven foot Echani was a daunting sight to most, he walked with the posture of his departed wife's station: that of the Royal Consort to her Throne. Dressed in white, the Echani Purist eyed the room with the flickering gaze of a martial artist and body language expert, yet the gaze in itself was not detached or defined by an icy chill. The man's eyes were kind and compassion followed him like the furrows of a cloak.

Walking into the training room, Manu stopped to look @[member="Sophia Walsh"] over. To teach one the healing arts was to know them in a way few had the opportunity or the right. It was the jewel in a Jedi's crown or the sheen in any Lightsider, as only in the Light was the talent found and nurtured. Oh yes the Dark Side had its ways, but physical and mental wholeness was the artistry of the sunrise proclaiming each new day. "Sophia, welcome. Thank you for calling me."

"Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to teach me. My husband recommended you to me." The woman could have learned from her mother however she didn't feel that was the best option. They had their differences and she wanted to learn someone whom wasn't family plus she felt @[member="Manu Xextos"] knew more than her mother. This was the path he had wished to take her mother as she remembered was thrown into it.

When she was little she had tried to be just like her father. Sophia was and is into ships and didn't care about medical things. She had bigger things to worry about as captain however looking back it would have been nice to know a little first aid.

"I know poisons fairly well which I know is more of a darksider art however I don't intend to use it for that purpose. I think healing would compliment what I already know."
