Heartbreak Hotel

Standing in a hotel room of Bespin, Nikias looked out the window at the city streets below. He had spared no expense in the hotel room and it was located in an ostentatious building. Fitting of Joza and something that she would like. This entire encounter had been fabricated by Nikias to draw out her past lover, Haytham. She hadn't given Nikias the man's name, but the information she had given him was where they had stayed and what had happened between the two. A few bribes here, another few bribes there. Not including those that Nikias had to dispose of and he had been able to track down the camera footage of the weekend Joza had visited Bespin and see what the man she had been with looked like as well as where they went. Not one to go charging into a sith's mansion nikias had chosen the hotel room as the meeting spot instead. . Letting time pass so his actions faded into obscurity Nikias had now returned to Bespin to teach the man a lesson of what happened when one messed with Nikias' friends.

The window was open and Nikias could lean out of it looking down if he wanted to, but he didn't. On the ledge was a cloned Ysalamir, along with a nutrient frame. He had taken to using the creatures since his bonding with the Syn Talisman, not only did it grant him a slight reprieve from the haunting presence of the Sith but it covered the large darkside aura that would've made Nikias a beacon in the force. Looking down at the datapad Nikias looked at the time, it had been a few hours since he had sent the message to Haytham under the guise of being Joza and wanting to talk about what had happened and admitting about her confused emotions. All things that the real Joza had problems with, Nik had spent plenty of time with her and knew that Joza had her soft moments just as much as her hard ones.

Nikias was decked out in full body gear as though going to war, as in one way or another he was. The sith usually didn't take to kind to one attacking their own, and Nikias was sure that his actions would have consequences that would stretch far into a future. Taking in a deep breath Nikias prepared himself for the coming battle. "Let the games begin."

Haytham was simple minded. At least, when it came to Joza. His only goal was to please her, her opinion was the only one that mattered to him. What happened on Bespin the last time she had been there certainly hadn't been the greatest thing to of happened to the couple, but when he had read the message from his... Complicated lover. It gave him pause. After what had happened in Orcus's mansion, he figured she wouldn't ever want to return to Bespin, let alone Cloud Nine of all places. She wasn't the sort who would return.

Not to mention the fact that they had both gotten out what they had wanted to say.

Gone was Haytham, and in his place was Vanitas as his ship dropped out of hyperspace and descended towards the planet below.

On his hip rested a weapon he never would've thought existed. From the depths of the One Sith's armoury, he acquired, Yuuzhan-Vong crafted sword, after the Invasion of Togoria, Haytham had realized he was painfully out-gunned and under armoured compared to those he fought. Encountering the beskar clad warrior, Miss Blonde, on the field, he knew changes had to be made. Huffing, he lifted his hand from the hilt and descended from the ramp. In the small of his back, he kept that disruptor pistol. A blaster was handy, but alongside it was a regular blaster pistol, he never knew when he'd be needing the stun setting.

Not to mention the two Herglic Security Personnel that had begun stalking him after Togoria. Of course, they were paid too, and clad in their Koodan-class battle armour and the HTE's MARS-12 rifle, Vanitas was certain he had taken the necessary precautions.

It had only taken a few minutes after entering atmosphere to get the location, and when he stopped at the end of the hallway to where he should be sensing Joza, he felt nothing but a void in the Force. Blinking, he'd press harder but would continue to sense nothing and his hand would raise silently and indicate to one of his newly found bodyguards to head down the hallway. Vanitas had already been suspicious of the message to begin with. Joza wasn't the type to voluntarily empty out her heart, not even to him unless she had been pressed or was overcome with emotions.

She told the Jedi. This is clearly a trap.

He pushes a hand through his black hair and watches as the Herglic trudges down the hallway and then stops at the door that Haytham would've otherwise been heading too. It raised it's fin and... Knocked.

The hallway was dead silent.

[member="Nikias"]

Everything was dead silent and Nikias had been lost in his thoughts on how everything would go down. Of just in what way he would attack and handle the Sith. Hands tightening on the window ledge Nikias cast a look out into the bright Bespin streets. Breaking Nikias' thoughts there was a rapping upon the door. It's time. Nikias thought. There was no point in greeting whoever was at the door as he wouldn't have been able to sound like Joza with the best voice acting training in the world. Nor did he have a recording of her voice. With a light push Nikias sent the nutrient frame over the windows ledge and down to the streets below. As the bag holding the frame fell down the bubble that encompassed Nikias' soon passed over and the darkside aura of the talisman was unleashed. In a second Nikias felt the force flow back into his body and he became a beacon of darkness. The Syn talisman was strong enough in the darkside that any trained force user for yards to miles would be able to sense it now.

In the corner of Nikias' vision an apparition that only he could see appeared. It was the spirit of Sorzus Syn, and this time she wore a smile upon her pale, cracked features. Aw, I can feel the rage inside you. How it's boiling over, that is very un-jedi like of you. I thought they forbid such things? The avatar asked raising a questioning eyebrow, but amusement could still be found in those glowing red eyes.

"Silence, you know nothing about what is happening now." Nikias said as he waved his hand and exerted his will. Across the room he could see through the doorway and in it stood an incredibly large being in full on battle armor. Too large to be the man Nikias had seen in the camera feeds, and far too large to be a human. There was no hesitation in what came next. Flying from his belt Nikias' saber flew at the Herglic and activated mid-flight. The darkroom was bathed in a violet glow as the lethal weapon whirled through the air to slice the armored figures head off then back around through its waist before returning to Nikias' now waiting palm.

Seems like you're the one that's been outsmarted. Syn said while floating behind Nikias as he entered the hallway.

Haytham watched as the Herglic was split into three separate pieces. He felt a new presence in the Force come to being. It was dark, much too dark to have been Joza's and with that obvious knowledge, it wasn't even familiar. He was certain that he would've known if Joza fell to the Dark Side completely.

Besides, she had been afraid of him when his eyes had glowed brilliantly in the yellow colour that the Sith were infamous for.... It didn't matter.

This was beyond a Jedi trap. Whoever this person was, they were wasting both of each others time then. Vanitas leaned on the wall at the end of the hallway, mostly so that he could step out of the way of the Herglic firing down the hallway at the person that stepped out of the room he should've been at. Though it fired with it's Arc Caster setting. Electricity flowed down the entirety of the hallway, strong enough to fry an organic's nervous system if exposed for too long. At least, depending on the human.

Vanitas wanted to watch the person who would ambush him in action before he engaged immediately. In the event that he did have to protect himself however, he would've weaved a barrier within the Force directly in front of his person as if it were his own personal wall as he watched the Herglic from his peripherals step down the hallway.

[member="Nikias"]

Walking out the room the first things to greet Nikias was the sight of a Herglic and someone hanging back at the end of the hallway. How rude. Nikias thought raising his left hand and with a mental nudge the secret emitter inside the gauntlet activated. Springing to life in a similar fashion to a lightsaber was the Makrosian shield. Even the lethal hum was the same, and at its largest size it was 4.4 meters in diameter. Easily more than enough to cover Nikias from the assault of lightning that was coming his way. Similar to when a lightsaber is used to stop electricity his shield behaved in a similar manner. From behind the wall of protection Nikias watched as the lightning struck harmlessly at the shield. Waiting for it to end he tossed his saber up into the air and as it twirled he grabbed it in a telekinetic grip and threw it like a spear at the Herglic guiding it like a heat seeking missle. The lightsaber would penetrate the Herglics chest and with a flick of Nikias' index and middle fingers the saber would fly up bisecting the bodyguard.

Nikias hadn't wanted to kill or hurt anyone besides Haytham, but he had the audacity to use others as a shield. It was not Nikias' fault. At least thats how he rationalized the deaths of the Herglics. Golden eyes landing upon his target Nikias pointed a finger at Haytham. Wagging his finger like a parent scolding a child Nikias clicked his tongue. As though obeying his every command the saber shook as well in a similar fashion. "Don't move." Nikias growled. Deactivating his shield and raising his left hand Nikias summoned the two weapons of the Herglics into the air to examine them. "How I detest these things." With a closing motion of his left hand the racous screech of metal bending could be heard while the barrels were bent out of shape and crushed.

"I just wanted to talk." Nikias said waving his left hand and sending the two useless weapons into the room he had come from. Out of sight out of mind. "You know Joza Perl don't you? Don't try lying." Nikias warned. Finally summoning his saber back to his hand Nikias caught it.

"Come now we can both have a civilized conversation. This..." Nikias said waving a hand to the dead bodyguards. "This just happened to be an accident.."

His black eye brows lowered into a frown at Nikias's words. There was certainly something off putting about this person. It wasn't the Dark Side presence that left him stinking, no, it was how he acted, as if he were psychotic almost. It was sad that he had been lured into an ambush like this, by someone like him.

Vanitas laughed.

A mirthless laugh after the second Herglic died. "Shut up." He'd say a moment after the other Dark Sider finished talking. "Don't patronize me. Ever." His grey eyes would set, but for all intents and purposes he wouldn't move from that arms folded across his chest position he had as he leaned against the wall. Shaking out his black hair, he'd snort as he replayed the words in his head. "I suppose shooting your blade out the door when someone is knocking is an accident." He'd shake his head, and with that movement he finally got off of the wall and straightened out.

He pushes back his sleeve for a moment and spares a glance for the chronometer there to take note of the time. He stopped looking after seeing it was nearly evening. He didn't have anywhere to be, but whoever this guy was didn't need to know that. Pulling his sleeve back to where it was supposed to be, Vanitas shrugged. "Get to the point." The sound of his foot tapping on the floor of the hallway eventually started to echo from his side of the hall.

[member="Nikias"]

"Oh... Such threats from someone who brought bodyguards with him." Walking past one of the Herglic corpses the smell of cooked fish filled Nikias' nostrils. If he was being completely honest they smelled delicious. Clipping his lightsaber back to his belt Nikias waved his hand at the scene around them. "This was all your doing? I have no clue what you are talking about, you are the one who brought these." Pointing at the Herglic to make his point. "Here and to my door."

"Now let’s both be honest; you see beings in full body armor at your door what would you do? Hmm? Especially when you knew you had laid a trap out for a Sith?" Nikias asked and he did have a fair point. Anyone would feel threatened by a creature of that size at their door, armored and carrying a weapon. Obviously it wasn't hotel security so why halt his blade. They would've killed him the same way he had them. One had even had the chance to shoot their weapon but failed.

Stop toying with him... This is sickening. Do what you came here to do. Sorzus said a scoff in her tone and a roll of her red eyes.

"I did not ask you for your input." Nikias said to the spirit and turning his head to the right to look at her. "As for you." With a flick of his wrist Nikias would unleash a burst of compressed air with no warning or motion besides his wrist flicking. The push was meant to knock Haytham back into the wall behind him. IT wasn't Nikias' best by far and was meant just as a quick burst instead of one of his more Devastating attacks..

"I know what you did to Joza, and you need to be taught a lesson... Pick up your saber."

Vanitas's head shook from side to side from the words of @Nikias. There's not enough time to go back and forth with this... Clown. The Sith Apprentice said as he rolls his shoulders back, but hardly makes a move other than that. Huffing, he pushed a clump of hair out of his eyes and just watched. His grey eyes scanned the relatively bare hallway, and he let his hand hover by the lightsabre on his waist but he didn't bother to take it off of his belt just yet.

There were no threats from Haytham. But if the other Dark Sider felt threatened, well, that was his own doing of course. What with being paranoid and such.

The darkly clad male that was Vanitas didn't move. He didn't need to. He just let the burst of the Force along with the compressed air splash across the barrier in the Force that remained in front of him. Reaching up, his hand pushed the black hair out of his eyes and he gave off his most charming smile to the only other living person in the hallway. "You should mind your own business, weirdo."

A black clad hand latched onto the hilt on his belt whilst he simultaneously turned to the side, though still facing in the direction of his opponent.

He waited for him to come.

"Aw, Sith always go to throwing insults... It is so childish." Nikias said looking up at the ceiling for a bit and then lowering his eyes back to Haytham examining the beginning stance he had chosen. There were to many possibilities to what form the sith acolyte could be using from that alone. Nikias had dealt with both Sith and jedi alike that used Makashi along with many other forms so if that was what it came to he'd be prepared. Though not yet, there was a better way to battle the acolyte without Nikias having to show his true skills. Just as he had dealt with the Herglics by controlling his saber Nikias would battle this acolyte the same way. Reaching down Nikias un-clipped the saber and began what looked like a reckless charge at Haytham.

Entering a high guard and acting as though Nikias came to a stop and through the lightsaber end over end. The humming sound that it emitted filled the halls echoing off the walls and made its way for Haytham. Stopping short in Nikias' own telekinetic grip he would wave his index and middle finger. The lightsaber would enter a quick slash aimed for Haytham's waist to bisect him, but with a twirl of Nikias' fingers it twirled in the air to quickly strike at Haytham's shin. The thing about telekinetic lightsaber combat was that the weapon wasn't bound by the same limitations as the human body so in essence it could strike from any angle the controller dictated. What are you doing? Why are you holding yourself back? That is not the way of the Sith. Syn asked obviously not pleased with her new host.

I for one am not a Sith, two I'm testing him. Maybe if more of you Sith learned to examine your opponents you wouldn't have been defeated so many times.

Vanitas snorted.

Was the anonymous Dark Sider trying to get a rise out of him? He hoped not because Haytham wasn't like to actually react. He watched as the weirdo unclipped his lightsabre from his belt, and Haytham made sure to run through the potential attacks in his mind from his position in the centre of the hallway.

So he ran at him, likely to close the distance between the two of them, the grey eyes in his skull focused, tightening on him and watched as the lightsabre flew end over end at him. Lightsabres tended to be quite light, and to throw them without the Force would usually find them hitting the ground sooner than the would be thrower would've realized. Considering the fact that it continued soaring through the air for him, Detective Vanitas had figured that it was guided by the Force. He started forwards himself as if he were going to fight the lightsabre head to head.

When the telekinetic grasp on the lightsabre bent the weapon to his waist, the azure beam of his own lightsabre launched out to meet it in a downwards slash. Seeing that it didn't meet his lightsabre, Haytham's arm continued downwards, only to find that his own lightsabre met the blade of his opponent and batted it away from him, as he slowed for a moment, but returned to the pace he had set and provided that he got in range, his right foot would've hit the ground as his left hand, the one that held the lightsabre descended on [member="Nikias"] to slash across his chest.

A blue lightsaber? Nikias thought examining the weapon and its owner. It was an understatement to say that Nikias was somewhat shocked by the situation. He hadn't really expected a Sith to wield a blue lightsaber, though it may have partially been his fault for not learning more about the target than just what he did and how to find him. Maybe this person was someone like Nikias, caught in the middle... Though that was not enough to excuse what he had done. The young acolyte was skilled though as he simply blocked the blade. The fact that he continued to run past the saber as though forgetting it was a shame though. A simple mistake.

You fool, now he will kill you. Syn said trying to weave doubt into Nikias' mind.

Nikias on the other hand made no move to immediately draw the saber back as fast as he could. He felt no worry about the situation he was in, actually he enjoyed it. Watching the blue-white saber coming in a slash Nikias raised his left arm and with a thought the shield once again sprang to life but smaller than it had been last time. This one exactly 2.8 meters in diameter. Much smaller than the last shield but perfect for combat such as this. The saber would deflect off Nikias' shield and in that instant while the acolyte had dedicated himself to the attack Nikias raised his right hand and tightened it into a fist. An invisible grip would instead aim to seize the acolyte and with a swing of his arm Nikias would throw the Sith and use the force to propel him through the wall on their left. Not a tactic new to nikias he had done such a thing many times before as well as having been on the Receiving end

It was easy to say that Haytham was simple minded and focused on one thing at a time. It was true in a way. In the way that he had ran past the lightsabre that he had batted aside and how he had seemed dedicated to splitting Nikias in half with his lightsabre slash. There was a time in the past when Haytham had operated like that to convey his arrogance and lack of caring for his own security in a duel. In his time as Orcus's Apprentice, he had taken time to be delicate and careful with his way of combat, only pressing the advantage when he saw that he had one. As a Sith, he was more reserved than he had ever been.

The black haired male's lightsabre had always been in his left hand. It was his first lightsabre when he had been Grand Master Kiskla Grayson's Padawan, it was fitted to his left hand, though it could easily be switched to his right, it simply didn't feel right to be held in his other hand. Since the Dark Jedi would've had to bring that shield across his body, Vanitas's right hand loosened the Yuuzhan Vong blade construct on his hip, and he deactivated his lightsabre before it could actually be deflected by that cool shield.

Imma need that.

He certainly didn't dedicate himself to the attack. It may have seemed like it, but when his right foot had touched the ground, he deviated from his original path with a spin to pass that plasma shield as his left hand returned to his waist and hooked his lightsabre back onto it's hook as mid-spin, he finished pulling out the YV blade construct but before he could actually cut into that open right side, he felt the Force grasp at him and he was thrown into the wall, and for a moment he felt resistance along his back, but then it was gone as he crashed through the plaster of the wall and rolled across the room. The unorthodox entrance would've obscured vision for the both of them what with the slight dust raising up, but he wasn't worried about that as a groan was released from his throat, and his right hand clenched tighter on that Tsaisi. His left hand hit the floor and he forced himself to his feet as he loosened himself.

Throwing me already? He didn't even take me out to dinner yet.

"Who are you anyway?"

[member="Nikias"]

Right before Nikias had thrown the man he'd seen the weird blade being drawn, of a make he'd never seen before. Just what type of weapons are these Sith creating? Nikias thought to himself not yet moving through the dust that had also billowed out into the hallway. Mind slowly piecing together what the weapon probably could be Nikias thought about why a Sith would draw it. Only thing Nikias could think of so far was that the weapon was able to combat a lightsaber which made it more than enough of a threat for him to be cautious of. None of the other Sith Nikias had fought deviated from their common weapons unless they had something special up their sleeves that they thought would've ended Nik. I'll have to be more careful with this one. Nikias thought as he waved his hand. All the dust in the room would suddenly be vacuumed away and out of the room while Nikias took a few steps in.

Returning to his side Nikias' saber flew into his waiting palm like a pet returned to its master. The hole had been big enough to cross through with only a bit of bending from Nikias and what he saw now was the Sith getting to his feet. This small victory means nothing. Those of MY sith would never fall so easily. I laid down the groundwork millenia ago for them. You will fall in one way or another. Sorzus Syn said though this time she didn't seem to be as sure about the statement. Throwing someone through a wall was nothing new to Nikias, he had once ripped apart an entire room through use of telekinesis. Problem was specializing in it and nothing else left him behind in many skills that others had learned hence why he made up for such things with his unique fighting style.

"Who am I?" Nikias asked looking around the empty hotel room. Wonder who's gonna pay for this? "I am a friend of Joza's and just here to teach you some manners... Like not to hurt the ones you supposedly love." Nikias said and waiting for the Sith. "She didn't tell me exactly about what you did, but I saw the bruises. Mentally and physically. What type of person does that to one they love...? Though I probably shouldn't have expected better of a Sith."

Rolling his shoulders back he spun the Tsaisi in his hand again switching it into his left hand. He was ambidextrous but he had always been more comfortable with a blade in his left hand, it just felt right. Exhaling, as he watches the Dark Jedi step through the hole that they had both participated in making, Vanitas watched him intently.

He repeated his question.

Who am I?

It felt like he was in a holofilm, though who was the good guy in this situation? Who was the villain? More importantly, who was the main character? Sparing a smile for his own thoughts, he looks his assailant up and down for what was the first time to actually appraise him in that brief moment of respite. His right hand came up and he started to lift up his fingers with every single word that he mentioned, that is, until it surpassed five and he made a show of restarting and then fumbling, even mouthing words, or was it numbers before he said, "Wait... So which part was your name again?" His head tilted to the side for a split second before his right hand lowered again. "Yeah, I'm not proud of it, but you don't care about that. You came to do something that she wouldn't be happy about," he shook his head.

What could he do? I would likely do the same...

His jaw clenched as his left hand tightened on the hilt of his blade, he suppressed the emotions deep down within his chest. He wasn't going to give rise to what this man wanted. He wanted to find the monster that had harmed Joza? He wasn't going to find him here. That... That was the Sith deep within him, the one that was embedded in his blood and ancestry, the one that he ignored for the whole of his life until encountering his love on Cloud Nine.

"What's your name?"

This time, he made his inquiry more clear. If he was going to fight this man, he at least wanted to know his name.

[member="Nikias"]

"No... Joza wouldn't want this, and personally I don't care if she wants it. What you did cannot be tolerated, if you aren't proud of it why would you do it? Hmm? Why not own up to what you did and talk to her. Apologize for what you did. If you understood that and could see beyond your Sith ideals and ways you'd know there are far more ways for this encounter to end." Nikias said looking around the room, it had been similar to the one he was in. No... Not similar, the exact same, this was a hotel room after all. The very same large bed sat against the wall and next to it a large nightstand. While at the back of the room and behind Haytham was a window. Far too small to fit a full grown man into but still something to use if the situation called for it. Everything around Nikias a weapon he could use in battle.

"Why do you persist on learning my name?" Nikias asked keeping an eye on Haytham and watching his movements, the ones with that blade. It was sincerely a weapon that made Nikias stay on his toes just as he had brought a rare weapon in the form of his shield the Sith had brought something that could possibly give Haytham an edge in combat. Are all jedi this wordy? Have MY sith really become the types to ask questions first and destroy the jedi second?! None of you are good hosts. Syn ranted off in Nikias' head though this time the jedi did not turn to the ghastly spirit. Simply waving a dismissive hand at it Nikias made a shooing motion.

"Remember this name well. I am Nikias..." No fancy title followed Nikias' name, Haytham did not deserve it. Nor did Nikias ask for the Sith's name, he already knew it. With a slight raising of his brow being the only warning of what came next the window behind Haytham would explode inwards. Numerous shards of glass aimed at the Sith's back and under Nikias' control. Propelling the glass so they'd match a slugthrower round Nikias then stretched out his left hand and made a slight twirling motion where the glass would become a twister around Haytham.

His head tilted to one side, straightened, and then tilted again as he made a face after every few words that he said.

Sith? Apologize for what he did? Care? End?

Vanitas exhaled as he shook his head from side to side. "Regret tends to come after an act," he shrugs his shoulders as he holds the hilt with two hands for only a moment, clenching his jaw for a moment before releasing it and canting his head to the side again as he spots the window over his shoulder, and then back to the Dark Jedi. "We already talked about it. Did you even ask her if we did, or did you just assume because I'm a Sith?" His head shook again. "You don't know me. Don't assume to know my ideals. Ever." He swiped the blade at the ground at his feet.

I'll likely forget it.

Orcus's Apprentice felt a handful of shards penetrate the first few layers of his skin, but just as soon as the twister would've started around him, it was dispersed with an expulsion of the Force from his body. The shards in his back fell out of his body as well. Reaching out with his right hand, he tugged Nikias towards him and the Tsaisi blade lunged out in a horizontal path to perfectly cut the assailant in half if he made it that close to Haytham. But he stepped into it with his left foot leading, to have more leverage behind the slash.

"I'll assume your ideals based off the others of your kind I have met. None of you Sith have shown me anything different besides your beliefs that the galaxy is better off in your hands. Something I cannot, and will never agree with." Nikias said though in truth he was quite shocked by the Sith releasing the force in such a way to push the glass out of the wound and onto the floor while the rest of it was scattered across the room. Nothing to consequential considering the tactic had been nothing but the opening to what Nikias felt was gonna be a slugfest. "Impressive." Nikias said to the Sith as he felt the invisible tug.

Oh, by the force not this old trick. Nikias thought as the Sith yanked him towards the incoming blade. Nikias had dealt with Sith that employed this tactic. One of them being [member="Darth Ragnarok"] who commonly employed the tactic mid battle and had used it in such ways that as a padawan Nikias had to learn to compensate for those that used the tactic. One such way was simply pinning yourself to the ground with the force, but that was pointless in a situation such as this. Just as Nikias went with the pull when Ragnarok did it he did the same this time with Haytham. Nik had dealt with two other dedicated telekinetics such as himself and the fights were usually inconclusive due to ill timing, but it had taught him many things about fighting those that employed those very same skills.

As Nikias was pulled into the blades wake he smirked and lifted up his left hand releasing a telekinetic wave of energy point blank at Haytham's upper body. Nikias hoped the Sith decided to pin himself in place as meeting a wall of telekinetic energy head to head in such a way could lead to the Sith's spine being destroyed as it was all aimed at Haytham's upper body, and if he went with it he'd be flung back into the wall.

"Generalization. Nice." The sarcasm was evident in his voice.

Vanitas was more proactive than reactive. To make your attack straight on was pointless, boring, and more importantly, easily countered. Though some would say it was better than being flashy and wasting time and energy on tricks that would otherwise get you killed later on in the fight. Especially if they didn't succeed when you performed them.

But what was life without it's risks?

When that left foot had hit the ground and Nikias came straight for him, it didn't take a rocket scientist to realize he wanted to be pulled. The man was full of secrets if that shield that projected from his arm was anything to go off of. He wouldn't be surprised if there was something else he had on him that was able to give the Dark Jedi an advantage over him. Just as the opposing Knight found himself intersecting with the Tsaisi, his body tucked itself as he lowered himself to the ground, opening his palm so that the Yuuzhan Vong blade construct was released from his hand for less than a split second as he let the Force amplify his speed as the Force push blew past the space he had been occupying less than a moment ago as he felt his hair blow in it's wake.

Dropping down to the left side he'd somersault across the ground just as the Dark Jedi would likely be landing and his right hand launched out towards his assailant around the time he'd be landing with enough force to throw him into the wall against the bed's headboard and to the other side of it as Vanitas collected himself.

The Sith had been able to dodge the push and had become something akin to a blur as he retreated away from Nikias. Turning his head in the direction that Haytham had went Nikias saw the hand raising and instinctively threw up a telekinetic barrier. The near invisible energy layered upon itself creating a thin barrier around Nikias' body. As he had not truly landed yet or had his footing Haytham's push did indeed send the Hellyni flying into the headboard that split in half due to the combined push and Nikias' shield meeting it. Nikias' training beneath the holocron of Ganner Rhysode was beginning to pay off more and more as time went on. One of his first lessons had been on how to create a telekinetic barrier and then he had spent days practicing his timing with creating them till it had become a reflex whenever something seemed to be coming his way. The ability had played a major part in keeping Nikias alive many times though the push hadn't been lethal he was sure there would've been alot of pain from meeting the headboard.

Is that all you have... Jedi? Syn asked her body materializing. Yet again a look of satisfaction was on her pale face, she was enjoying the duel and seeing how things went. Syn wanted nothing more than for Nikias to fall here so she could take the body of Haytham and drive the Sith insane to use his body as a host.

"Furthest thing from it." Nikias said as the barrier dropped. Bringing both his arms around Nikias' arms crossed each other and suddenly both ends of the headboard flew from behind the bed and were shot across the room as though shot from a canon. The whistled through the air propelled by the force and guided by Nikias one aimed in low at Haytham's feet and the other for his torso. But before reaching the Sith the bottom one would shift positions and instead come in from Haythams left aimed for his ribs.

Nikias was knocked away from his position just as he had touched the ground. He would've preferred splitting him in half with the Tsaisi, but it was a sacrifice that was necessary to make. Raising up his own wall in the Force, Vanitas had learned much about the Force in his past when he had been Haytham, when he had been apart of the Jedi Order. In those days he had spent his days doing two things. Applying the Force to himself to push his own limits while also pushing his limits without the Force. Thanks to Jedi training he could most definitely be considered a Galactic class athlete, with the Force at his disposal and his specialty at applying it to himself to make himself stronger and faster, to twist pain that he felt into strength, he was certainly made for close quarters combat.

But that was self-taught, things that he had learned to adapt, to survive.

In the archives, he had learned that the Force was pliable in the way that you could make it do almost whatever you wanted if you were strong enough. If you had the raw power.

Haytham's wall of Force wasn't a conventional one. It was a shield that was akin to once things in it's area hit it, it was like a fly hitting a trap. It stopped. Dead in it's tracks. It was a mixture of the Force grasping you, and a barrier. So, when the two pieces of wood flew at him, the one that came high was shattered into an amount of splinters and wood that he didn't have time to count, the second one, the one that came in for his side was slowed, enough so that he could shatter that one too before he released the field.

It was an ability that looked better on paper than in practice. It used a lot of his power in the Force at that immediate point.

Close in on him.

Shooting out his right hand at Nikias again, he tugged in his direction again. But this time, he instead tugged the dresser behind him to unbalance him before he dashed across the room to move around the bed before he leapt over the edge of the bed, the Force still speeding him as it carried him over the last few metres to perform the overhead slash on the Dark Jedi, threatening to split him in half.
