- Looks pretty: At first glance the Heaven's Touch looks just like any other piece of jewellery, decorative and pretty and easy to dismiss if you don't know what you're looking for.
- Heaven's Touch contains cut and polished pieces of Meditation Crystal and Nihil Smokestone set in the platinum and songsteel frame. Each crystal provides a supplementary boost to the force, making it easier to mantain and use the force or two use mental powers respectively.
- The alchemized songsteel and platinum frame is incredibly tough and light, while still decorative enough to fool all but the most discerning critics.
- Like all force artefacts, the presence of a force negating field reduces the accessory to nothing more than a pretty ornament...which is still pretty useful.
- Although it does improve Gianna's force powers, the Heaven's Touch doesn't have any offensive or defensive abilities, pimply providing a passive boost.
As he gained more confidence in setting up alchemical creations John turned his attention to creating a gift for Gianna, something between a thank you and a present. As usual John began by himself in his workshop where he started with hte alloy, hand-shaping it into the distinctive swirling decorative pattern he wanted. Once the frame was ready he began work on the crystals, taking the shards and cutting them down to size, polishing them till they gleamed before his set them into the frame.
The larger Meditation Crystals designed to help Gianna meditate, to make it easier for her to meditate and maintain her connection to and allowed her to use less energy when manipulating the force. The light blue gems were the centrepiece of the headpieces interspersed by the darker blue polished Nihil Smokestones, designed to stand out as well as make the use of mental influencing powers easier.
