STRENGTHS
- Titansteel armour means that they can take a lot of hits from most ships of frigate class or lower
- Shields add another level of protection to ensure that the Heavy N-Wing is a tough ship to deal with
- The engines mean that the ship is not incredibly slow in comparison to other starfighters
- Weapons on the Heavy N-Wing are quite powerful, able to deal damage to number of different vessels
- Though only available in a small squadron, can be formidable in these small numbers
- Due to the heaviness of Titansteel, the Heavy N-Wing is slower than standard N-Wing and unable to perform more complex maneuvers
- While main body of the ship is covered in Titansteel and high resistance to damage, the engines are vulnerable and could cause major damage to the ship if targeted
- Because of limiting materials, Heavy N-Wings are not common or used in large numbers within a squadron.
- Standard shields means that they are not invulnerable against other starfighters.
- Does not resist ion attacks
Decoria Industries has been working towards updated versions of the standard N-Wing, their latest version is the Heavy N-Wing, which focuses on hitting hard and taking hits well. The Heavy N-Wing uses Titansteel alloy to take a serious amount of damage, in conjunction with shields, making it hard to take down a Heavy N-Wing unless the pilot knows the weaknesses of the ship. It also hits hard with the Zebtra Starfighter Cannon, meaning that the ship can be formidable in combat. The drawback to the Heavy N-Wing is that the heaviness of the ship limits the maneuverability and speed of the ship.
