Heigh Ho

Wayland... A planet not forgotten by many, but remembered for the tragedies it had faced. Mainly at the hands of the Sith during their conquest to take over the galaxy. The horrors that had happened still haven't been repaired such as the wild vegetation on the planet that had been mutated. Xion had came to this planet in hopes of mining the phrik that the planet had been said to possess. There was no point going to a planet such as Alderaan where the sith lingered and he could put himself in danger. Though this planet was dangerous in its own way. It may not be loaded with sith but the environment was still dangerous to those not accustomed to it.

Vong roamed the planet till this very day and amphistaffs grew in the wild free to attack and that passed by. Something Xion wasn't to keen about especially with the dangers that the vegetation could pose. All these thoughts and more went through the young Miraluka's mind as he hopped out of his starfighter. Feet hitting the soft ground the thick grass up to his knees Xion opened himself to the living force. Upon which he was bombarded by the natural power of the planet. He could feel the animals within a short distance and how they waited for prey or foe to come to them. What he felt most though was the pain the planet had suffered beneath the rule of others. It was a terrible feeling, one that Xion opened himself to fully as he walked forward letting the living force flow through him. He wanted nothing more than to get off this planet as fast as possible. Weighed down by the mining gear he had brought along with him Xion made his way across the perilous land.

"Maybe you should get off Ossus for a little while?... Your treatment is far from over, but... I mean... C'mon Nyx, all you've done is sleep and hunt since you got here. Why don't you go back to the Protectorate for a little while? It'll be a few days before your next round of therapy anyway..."
Dr. Stone seemed to have a good idea. If only she knew how much trouble Nyx would get into...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
It was cold. Or maybe it was warm. Either way, it wasn't anywhere near Nyx's ideal temperature. Whether it was because she wasn't wearing enough or because she wore to much, it didn't matter to her. What mattered was finding what she came to get then getting off the planet. If that meant wearing lizard skin or wearing nothing at all... she'd do it. Why had she come here again? Oh, yeah, precious metals... Phrik to be exact. Our daring hero had come to gather materials for a new suit of armor. After all her last one was completely trashed. That sort of thing happens when one's empire collapses... I'll put air conditioning in it. And a heater... she thought. One hand went to her forehead, wiping away a few beads of sweat. So it was to warm. Made sense. Wayland had a generally temperate climate. Not to hot, not to cold. But for someone who hails from the 'Storm World'... well... it was a little warmer than she'd like. Somehow she'd manage. It wasn't like she hadn't spent two decades fighting in worse places then this. Nyx was a soldier- a proud one. This was- this would be- nothing compared to what she had already gone through. Right? There weren't even that many other people here. Most of the inhabitants seemed to be Vong and their pets. Nothing she hadn't handled before. In fact, she had served alongside their kind fairly often. Maybe she'd be able to talk her way out of any confrontations?
Wait, nope. This is the famed Boomshot queen we're talking about.
Communication was not her forte.

The Zabrak found himself on this planet for his own random adventure. Except, it wasn't random. He was here similar to the rest, for the Phrik. Landing his ship close by the one known as [member="Xion Vala"] he would bring out his own mining gear. The phrik was something the Seven needed, and he certainly wasn't going to pass up a chance like this.

Stepping behind the blind man, he'd cast a glance about the planet, frowning deeply. This wasn't the most friendly of places. "So.. Where's the vein?" He was dressed in his normal outfit, it meant for much more dry places. Already he began to feel sticky from the humidity. This better be quick.

Now this is a planet that I might enjoy.

The humidity was nice enough to make someone sweat from work or walking. But not enough where you felt like a waterfall of salty fluids coming from your skin. Standing there, I carried with me my lightsaber, and my dagger. Other than that, I had a bag slung over my left shoulder with tools for mining. Dressed up in a tank top, black jeans with the cuffs tucked into the calf high combat boots. Around my neck a silver chain could be seen, but the cross made of silver and onyx was hidden under the red tank top. Hair up in a pony tail much like a samurai of old, I walked out behind Krest.

An old friend of mine who we had joined forces with. I was aiding him in his venture for matierals, as well as for his new group called, The Seven Swordsman. Either way, I stayed silent. Just smiling about how the Zabrak was gonna have a hard time in his style of getup where it was made for dry dusty planets. Not humid ones.

In my right hand was a snack bar. Oatmeal and something else. I didn't care, it tasted good as I took the last few bites in my mouth. Following after the Zabrak.

However, I had a feeling, that we are not alone.

Wayland. Had Xardus been here before? As was the answer to most questions related to his memory, he simply didn't know. It was a rather fascinating planet, but from what he heard, it was as dangerous as it was beautiful. On his person, he carried his sword, as well as several smoke and flash grenades that he'd found in his ship. Why he had them, he couldn't tell. All he could guess was that there was a day in which he realized how useful they were, and had carried them around ever since. The only thing he didn't have on him, however, was his lightsaber. Or rather, Sadrion's. He couldn't be near the thing, as it made him sick to the core. It was bad enough having to stand next to [member="Nickolas Imura"]. Since the evil spirit had left him, he'd been purged of any trace of the dark side. His form didn't exactly radiate light, but he definitely wasn't a being of darkness anymore. Trying not to show how uncomfortable he was with the Sith, he simply looked over to [member="Krest"], the man who's pulled him out of the gutter. "So, phrik, huh?"

Zavzen piloted The Eternal Saviour down beside the collection of ships belonging to other members of the Seven Swords. Wayland... a planet haunted by the horrors of it's past. It's flora mutated in a deadly wonderful way. Stepping out into the humid atmosphere, Zavzen was glad he had left his cloak back on the ship. He was wearing an open chested tunic and baggy trousers with his swords strapped to the left side of his hip and lightsabers to the right.

Walking up to come in line with [member="Xardus Folidaar"], he to looked at his mentor, "So, how we doin' this?" He asked [member="Krest"] after nodding towards [member="Nickolas Imura"] in greetings.

[member="Drapeam Nyx"] [member="Xion Vala"]

Sweat had formed on Xion's brow as he marched through the forests small bugs flying all around constantly bugging him. Feeling one land on his face he lifted his hand and swung to slap that part of his face. The slap was harder than he intended for it to be and even when he looked down in his hand saw that he hadn't even caught the bug. He had even taken off his shirt and wrapped it around his head to keep the sun off his brow and protect his eyes. The temperature and walk wasn't why he was truly sweating, but the mining equipment that he carried with him making the venture harder than it should be. The pack that he had dug into his shoulders due to the weight and his brown skin was glistening in the sun.

And then there was the hill. Oh that steep bastard was the bane of Xion's existence at the moment as step after step he made his way up the hill strands of his crimson hair falling into his face. At the edges the hair curled more than ever due to the sweat. Xion's brow creased in concentration as branch after branch from low hanging trees reached out scratching him. His empty sockets stared forward but if he had eyeballs he was sure they would be more than filled with anger.

[member="Xion Vala"] and others.

Krest moved up beside the blind man as they walked, a frown settling on his own face. It was much to humid for the ma in red, but they had a job to do. "Seriously kid, where are we going? And you need to relax yourself. I can feel your anger like it was stabbing me in the side." The Grey mentor shook his head a bit before he cast a glance around the area. Rainforest like. He hated it.

[member="Krest"]

The words of the Zabrak did not comfort nor calm Xion he knew he shouldn't let his anger get out of hand, but at this point it was getting pretty hard. He was the one carrying the mining equipment after all, and he was the youngest out of all the ones there. Type of poodoo was this? Feeling a pain in his head now Xion began a few breathing exercises and opened himself to the living force. He felt the cool energy flow into his body and let it wash away his anger. It soothed his body just as it had his mind relieving him of the soreness while he was in contact with it.

Up ahead he could see the Vine snakes in the force as they awaited for them to pass beneath. Xion knew he would not bring harm to the animals but he was not so sure about the ones accompanying him. Reaching out and touching the animals with the force Xion soothed the snakes ensuring that they were in no danger and that Xion and the others meant no harm. As he calmed them Xion would slowly entice the animals to sleep and ignore them. "You're the ones who wanted phrik. The mines here have been long abandoned. Nature has claimed what was once hers." Xion whispered to the Zabrak as they reached the top of the hill.

At the top they could see the mine a short distance away. A lone mine with trees and fungi growing all over it. "As I said that mine has been abandoned. Even chased pirates away on my last trip." Xion assured the Zabrak before offering for him to lead the way. "Just don't attack the wildlife. This is their home and we are the guests."

[member="Krest"]

Krest had his own mining gear, however he had brought with him a floating cart to carry not only the supplies, but the ore once they had gotten them. [member="Xion Vala"] was the leader of the walk, and honestly the red man was trying his damnedest to -not- anger him. Turns out he was failing. Hard. "I'll keep my hands to myself, but I doubt Bar'reth would agree." The Bal'lir, basically a giant tiger, was already off on his own, exploring the jungle. It was closer to his home than any of the other planets Krest had taken him to, and he was more then sure he wanted to explore, and hunt.

[member="Krest"]

Smiling at Krest's comment Xion began the march down the hill. "I don't mind your pet being allowed to roam and do as it wants. It belongs in a place similar to this. I would implore you to leave it here but I can't say to much about it as even I have strills waiting for me back on Yavin. Oh how they enjoy the wilds of that planet." Xion rambled as though he were some old man that had been living in the forest forever even though it had only been a few months at the most. He still cherished every moment on the planet as though it would be his last. "One thing we all have to realize. Me, you, other humanoids. Is that we caused this damage to the galaxy, just as we need homes so do the creatures of the wild. We can't keep expanding just in the hopes of gaining more power or having an edge over each other. One day that will change."

Leading the way down the hill they approached the dark cave. Xion did not need a light as he used to force to see, but he did not know about Krest. "Let's get this done." Xion said as he made his way into the cave. The air was stale and smelled of fungus and the sound of water dripping could be heard. It had to have rained recently.

Krest held up his free hand up, it literally coming to life with a flame. The flame itself was fed by the force, not in a drastic killing it way, but in a rather normal way. The force used to feed the flame would exit as whisps of smoke, changed but not dead. "How far in is the Phrik?" He seemed to avoid talking about his beast. It wasn't that he didn't want to leave Bar'reth, but the cat didn't want to leave him. He wasn't just a pet, but family.

Followed after the two in front of him focusing on the flame in Krest's hand, listening to their conversation but not speaking up. He had to agree with Xion, so-called superior species had forgotten their place in nature and had taken to exploiting it instead, something that shouldn't happen in his opinion.

Stepping over a large root that emerged from the wall on his right and speared into the one of the left, he asked, "Anything in particular either of you want me to do?"

"The Phrik isn't much deeper in, a few meters at the most unless its been mined more since the last time I visited." Xion said back to the others before pushing his way deeper curious about the flame the zabrak had conjured. It drew his attention what the Zabrak could do and use such a natural element for. Much less using the force to conjure and fuel such a thing was interesting. "As payment I want knowledge on such a technique and any others related to it." Xion said. What he asked for wasn't to much considering all the trouble he had to go through to show them a empty mine where they could acquire phrik. That's not even counting having to keep the Vine snakes calm and from dropping upon them. "Also be careful, Vong have taken up residence down here sometimes and they aren't exactly nice to visitors. Especially when they're mining..." Xion warned taking a few steps into the mine.

@Krest @Zavzen Sae'ryx

"I am not worried about the Vong." In truth he wasn't. Stepping behind [member="Xion Vala"] , he would let the boy lead on simply because he knew his way around. Which was far more than the Zabrak knew himself. He would cast a glance to [member="Zavzen Sae'ryx"] before motioning for him to follow. "Once we get to the ore, help me mine it. Then it'll just be a matter of getting back to the ship, shouldn't take too long." He had ignored the blind mans request for training in fire shaping. It wasn't that he didn't want to train him, just that.. It may be a bit too soon to teach him how to control fire.

Zavzen sighed as they continued on through the tunnels. The constant sound of echoing drips of water coupled with freezing cold drops landing on his head had given him a headache that was constantly getting worse. He couldn't wait until this was done and he could rest on The Eternal. When he had heard that there were Vong in the caves his hand had dropped to Saviour's hilt, ready to draw it in case of trouble. After sighing again he reached up to rub at his forehead, careful to avoid his horns, and asked, "Anyone know how much longer we will be walking?" His voice was strained from the pain in his head. He stumbled again as a tree root grew from the floor.

(OOC: Sorry if this was a useless post, I'm stuck for ideas at the moment)
