- High Stopping Power: The Hekler'Kok design team found that even the almost ancient design was very accepting of modification and were able to give a boost to stopping power
- High Rate of Fire: In an effort to capitalize on the pistols high stopping power the design team also gave the pistol a high rate of fire
- Heavy Recoil: Due to a combination of the pistols light weight and high stopping power and rate of fire the pistol has a high recoil as a drawback
- Large Size: The CBP-01 is a rather bulky pistol and therefore is a little unwieldy to well wield at first and takes some acclimation
As quarterly projections came in the Hekler'Kok team began to realize that while they were achieving their project gross profits they weren't seeing the increase in profits they had hoped for. In response to this the team decided to produce a line of blasters to try and supplement the company's profits. However being primarily slugthrower designers the team had very little clue of what went into a good blaster they were forced to acquire more members to the team. These members suggested to start the other members of by revamping an old design rather than making a new one.
This decision led them to search through dozens of blaster designs before settling on a almost ancient design used during the Mandalorian Wars. Although the design was nearing five thousand years old the Hekler'Kok team settled on it because it was easily modifiable which would be perfect for the need to update it to modern standards. After picking the design they as always began work on the materials to be used in the blaster's construction. The grip was made out of Plastoid to save on weight and its durability while almost everything else was made their patented Titanium-Alusteel Alloy, everything except the barrel lining which was made of Chromium to reduce wear and tear.
After this they needed to decide on the features that would be included in the blaster. Like always they included the ambidextrous controls that were standard on all Hekler'Kok weapons. Next they added a textured grip to allow users to better handle the weapon and finally the added a integrated variable zoom targeting scope to allow better accuracy at distances.
