Cocked, Locked and a Smoking Barrel
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Given the success of the four previous variants of their new polymer cased cartridge the Hekler'Kok design team sought to once again expand on their flagship product with a new variant. It was decided that something that could stop a vehicle if need be would be a good market to try and muscle into per se. What they chose was a incendiary round that can burn through vehicles and destroy important components.
Like all the other variants many different designs were played around with. The first idea was to simply hollow out the core of the bullet and fill it with thermite, this was quickly found to be ineffective as the spark did not always light the thermite. Next was the same idea but adding some type of small explosive to the core as well to help with ignition but this was also nixed because the space the explosive took up made the incendiary effect almost non-existent. The final concept was a similar but also different design though. The core was once again hollowed out and filled with thermite but this time the core was covered over with the polymer used in the construction of the cartridge, dyed red to denote it as incendiary, and then a small explosive tip was added.
- Intent: To further expand on Hekler'Kok's new flagship product with another variation on it

- Various Cartridges:
- Rifle Cartridges:

- 5.56x45mm
- 6.8x49mm
- 7.62x35mm (.300 Blackout)
- 7.62x39mm

- 11.63x43mm (.458 SOCOM)
- 12.7x99mm (.50 BMG)
- 14.5x114mm
- Lightweight: Due to it being constructed out of polymer rather than a traditional brass cartridge it ways about fifty percent less than a traditional cartridge
- Cheap: Since the cartridge is constructed out of polymer rather than a traditional brass cartridge it cost about twenty-five percent less to produced than a tradition cartridge
- Suppressable: Unlike most conventional blasters it is actually rather simple to suppress the noise emitted by slugs and slugthrowers
- Less Heat: Due to the mechanics of polymer cases the heat is directed towards the barrel rather than the action, causing less wear and tear on the weapon
- Universal: The ammunition is not limited to Hekler'Kok slugthrowers and can fired from any as long as they can chamber the proper caliber
- More Effective Against Organics: Due to the incendiary nature of the cartridge it is highly effective against organic targets
- More Effective Against Vehicles: Due to the incendiary nature of the cartridge it can easily burn through metal giving it a edge against vehicles
- Loud: On the other hand when the slugthrower is not suppressed it will make a decent amount more noise than your conventional blaster
- Not a Space Saver: Unlike blaster packs slugs are larger and will take up more space
- Not a Weight Saver: Slugs weigh more than blaster packs and will take up more weight
- No Pistol Selection: Due to the fact that many of the pistol cartridges aren't large enough to hold the required thermite no pistol cartridge are offered
- Lower Range: The extra weight added to the pistol lowers the range it can travel effectively
