After finishing work on their last weapon the Hekler'Kok design team noticed that they had a missing niche in the weapon catalogue, a full length sword for those who might be more melee inclined. In order to fill this gap the design team began work on making a sword and decided on a vibroblade for its better cutting ability compared to a regular sword.
As always the team first began by choosing the materials for the blade. They originally planned on using Quadanium Steel for the blade but found it was rather heavy and instead decided to use their patiented Titanium-Alusteel for its blade and crossguard. After that they plated the blade and crossguard with cortosis weave to give it a resistance to lighsabers. The grip and sheath were then made out of Plastoid for its lightweight and durability and the wrapped the grip in Synth-Leather to give the user a better grip.
After all this the team needed to decide on the features before sending out to production. They added a upgraded vibration cell to give the blade a better cutting ability. They bonded the blade and crossguard with a Quadanium Alloy to give it more durability. A crossguard was added to better facilitate bladed to blade combat and lastly they included a self-sharpening sheath to help the blade keep its edge.
