Intent: To give Black Sun's mercenary, pirate, and private military army a robust, heavy firing weapon to level the playing field against better trained, well equipped military forces. And as a blaster weapon that can deal with the Force users and their Lightsabers who often deflect slower firing pistol and rifle variants.

Description: The Hellgun combines durasteel alloy in its main components to provide strength and maximum durability and firing time before overheating. The rate of fire is rated to 700 rounds a minute, but tweaking the governor is possible. At this set fire rate the power pack will last 30 minutes of continuous fire. But the weapon will overheat after about 2100 rounds or 3 minutes, so firing should be done in bursts (Recommended maximum 1 minute). Coverings and casings are Plasteel, light weight but durable.
