- Rapid Deployment: Considerably faster and more agile than the average main battle tank, the Hellhound is perfect for navigating difficult terrains and punching through enemy lines, and is fully capable of altering its heading in mere moments.
- Versatile Loadout: A modular design allows the Hellhound-series to be outfitted with no less than four different weapons configurations, broadening its market and easing production, though this is obviously not something that can be done outside factories and advanced maintenance facilities.
- Automated: All Hellhounds feature some degree of automation - either to aim and assist the driver, or to completely control the vehicle, depending on the model, with even the S-model possessing an autopilot, if not one rated for active combat.
- Shield-Reliant: Sacrificing anything but light armour plating for speed, the Hellhound relies heavily on its shield and is thus vulnerable to solar ionisation cannons and the like; furthermore, the shield is weaker at the bottom, leaving it vulnerable to land mines.
- Automated: Though the S-model should be usable even with the droid brain be knocked out, the A-model is effectively a droid - while well-shielded from ionic weapons and EMPs due to the materials used, it remains an exploitable vulnerability.
The first true military vehicle produced by Glimmersteel Interstellar in its bid for the profits of war, the Hellhound-series is heavily inspired by Erakhian designs of yore and features automated systems purpose-built by TriTech cyberneticists as well as the finest weapons systems Glimmersteel engineers could fit onto its sleek frame. Fast and agile, it nonetheless packs quite the punch, its versatile configuration broadening its mission profile.
As part of the TriTech conglomerate's attempts at providing a thorough and compatible military catalogue, the Hellhound is designed to easily store no less than twelve S2 Super Battle Droids in their storage configuration, allowing for the deployment of even more firepower once the tank has broken through enemy lines, making it very useful indeed for commanders favouring Tonkajkarza (Sith word for Blitzkrieg) and similar strategies.
