E T E R N A L - E M P R E S S
- Intent: To create a new elite military unit to the Eternal Empire. This will serve as an NPC and PC unit. And to expand the EE's military units.

- Role: A special unit that can be used for many different tasks, bringing together members of the fleet and the army. Thus, they form an elite team that can be deployed either on the ground or in space combat.

- Unit Name: Hellhounds
- Affiliation: Eternal Empire
- Classification: Multirole classification
- Special Ops./Black Ops. | Commando | Striking team | Recon | Fighter Pilots
- Description: The Hellhounds wear armour made in the Eternal Imperial style; however, this is somewhat different from the previous ones. It looks a lot scarier. The armour also features the symbol of the unit, the armour is always a bit darker in colour and matte due to the polymer than the usual Imperial armours. Their weapons and equipment are always the best in the empire and rely heavily on technological innovations.
They got their own barracks and training centre in Wulfngard, typically spending their time here in the capital, that is, on the capital planet. Of course, this does not mean that they only perform tasks here, because they can be deployed on any planet in war. They have many kinds of qualifications, so they can be used in almost any field or task. In behaviour, the traditional form of military behaviour can be expected, as stated in the military doctrine of the Eternal Empire.
This is the first group where the Empress has spectacularly abolished the personal cult. It is very common in the Eternal Empire for the army to worship the ruler. This was mainly in the time of Tacitus, but L'lerim banned all personal cults just before the third Panatha incident (Enclave invasion). Thus, this team is also loyal not to the ruler but to the Eternal Empire itself, no matter who is the Emperor or the Empress. They serve the Empire, not the ruler.

- Combat Function: Due to the nature of the unit, they do not really belong to either the army or the fleet. The Hellhounds are directly under STRATCOM, not even the Imperial Assembly can decide whether to use them. All this was necessary so that they were really used in the most appropriate place and not wasted them everywhere. Last but not least, people come in from so many different places that it would be impossible to classify them under a particular organisation.
They usually fight separately because they are sent to places that are for them. They are excellent for commando tasks, reconnaissance and raids. For a variety of tasks where Special Ops or Black Ops practice is required. For this reason, even the protection of target persons (bodyguard duties) or even hunting down the target or assassinating them fit perfectly into the unit's profile. If necessary, they can even be used as fighter pilots in swarms in space.
They use a variety of melee and ranged weapons in combat. They can also get tanks and other vehicles if needed. In space, they typically use a small craft, they do not need larger ships, they are only present there as auxiliary units to do their own task. They fight the army when needed, although they are given unique, special tasks on the battlefield, which they perform as a group rather than directing an army or other units.
In any case, if there is a task where a fast, highly trained, and ruthless unit needs to be deployed, where the situation requires special attention or just intervention, then Hellhounds is perfect for these tasks. - Force Abilities: Telepathy | Force Fear | Psychometry | Former Psi Corps members only (1 per squad)
- Elite Army: The Eternal Empire's Hellhounds are highly disciplined in combat, making them much more difficult to rout than regular soldiers. Unlike the other groups, they are also trained for ground, air and space battles, so they can be deployed on any front.
- Heavy Weapons: The Eternal Army's military doctrine of Storm War places heavy emphasis on combined arms tactics and overwhelming firepower. The Hellhounds reflect that and are equipped with a variety of much heavier weapons than most galactic militaries typically field.
- Well Equipped: The Hellhounds use and receive the best and most advanced equipment in the Empire to always form the most prepared formation.
- Loyalty: All members of the regiment are loyal to the Empire until death, their loyalty is unquestionable.
- Manpower: Like the vast majority of organic units within the Eternal Empire's Military, the Hellhounds suffer from a shortage of available manpower, limiting the number of potential recruits and reducing unit size and the overall number of groups that are available.
- Elite: The best of the best come here, which means one has to meet many different criteria to be a member of the Hellhounds. This also reduces their number and limits the groups that can be deployed.
- Slow Training: In the Eternal Empire, someone already needs two years of training to be an Ultranauts, and someone who gets into this group will receive additional training, so the full training will take several years.
- Neutralisation: Hellhounds use a lot of high-tech and electronic equipment. As a result, they may lose a significant portion of their equipment in an ion storm or in the midst of a strong EMP attack.
The Hellhounds are a relatively new unit, a group within the Eternal Empire. Their creation was much needed because of the recent and forthcoming wars. First, the war with the Sith, the conflict with the Mandalorians, and then we didn’t even mention the war against Maw, which is about to begin with the support of the Ashlan Crusade.
But the real reason Ingrid L'lerim ordered the established of this group is the events in Ession that took place during the Warlock trial. It became clear here that Wolfguards alone are not enough, but others may be needed. For a group that can be deployed not only on Earth but also in the atmosphere or in space. This was necessary as the fleet has also become increasingly important recently.
Countless personal files were examined to see who would be suitable here, and of course it was possible to apply. However, it was clear that it would be difficult to find people. I mean, there were a lot of applicants, but few who were suitable for the job. Because those who came here had to have many different skills and even face countless additional training after being admitted. They are likely to be trained continuously for many years to come.
The goal was a group that could really be deployed under any circumstances and at least as well trained as the best Mandalorian fighters to fight even with them. Each member was trained to drive different vehicles, to drive spaceships, to do technological things, but also how to kill Force users. It was for these reasons that even pilots were included in the group from the fleet, not just members of the army.
Psi Corps agents, of course, were also on the team, as telepathic communication and the support they provided were essential in the Eternal Empire to get a great batting team. However, the presence of the Wardens of the Shroud is not at all common, there is no such person in the basic teams, they will not be included in such a team (they are much high-ranking people and officials), of course it is possible for a Knight Warden or Lord Commander to lead a team on missions, but they never members of the Hellhounds.
The Eternal Empire is in no hurry to train the Hellhounds, it is not important for them to have dozens or thousands of members. They should be few, but they should really be far more prominent than any other group within the Empire. They will almost certainly be an integral part of future missions and wars, both inside and outside the borders of the Empire.
