Hello, but with a question or two

Hello, hey, what's up, greetings, salutations, hola, etc etc!

I am new to the forum and look forward to getting to know everyone after seeing how friendly everyone was in other welcome posts. As the title suggests, I have a few questions that I hope can be, will be, and don't offend anyone to be answered.

I was curious about how the whole writer/character profile thing works on here. I didn't see any form of explanation into if we create multiple accounts but only one is the main writer or if you somehow create other accounts through the writer one. Anyone care to explain it to me?

Also depending on how the first question gets answered, do I just create a character bio in the character creation forum and wait for an approval sticker?

Thanks in advance for any answers I get!

A little about myself now that the questions are out of the way. I have role played on both video games and in a forum setting before, so I have some experience. I have always loved the star wars universe and while I am not nearly as well versed in it as others, okay most of you, are I really wanted to start RPing again and in the star wars setting. I look forward to our future interactions together!

Hello and welcome! I'll start with the second question first. Once you have a character account (like this one) and you post a biography, just jump ahead. No approval needed here.

The first one is a little technical to explain, but your writer account is the base account, which you can use as a character if you wish after setting it up as a character. Or, you can create a character account. If you look at your writer profile page, there is a button near the top that says characters. Click on that and it will bring up a pop-up window with the option to "Add a subaccount." This profile I'm posting with is a subaccount. From there, you can create a second account specifically for a character.

Thank you for the input! I had a feeling that character button was how you did it, but I wanted to make sure before I did something stupid and ruined my writer account. I will be sure to create my subaccount and get that bio out asap.
