Hi everyone! I am a huge Star Wars fan but this is my first time playing a RPG game so I am excited, though pretty intimidated. I have a lot of characters floating around in my head and I am just hoping that I do a decent job creating and playing with them and I do not make any big mistakes. I am particularly interested in the minutia of the SW universe as well as exploring the unknown. Please feel free to message me about anything.

Welcome to Chaos, man. Being it's your first RP ever, I'll give you the best advice I've ever been able to offer folks: Motivations and Mentors. Find people that are willing to teach you the ins and outs, or to be role models for good RP. People that you can trust to point out that whatever scheme you just cooked up probably aint the greatest. But if nothing else, Motivation. What's motivating your character? Why is he doing what he's doing? Why does he believe what he believes? Keep thinking along lines like that, and honestly don't be afraid to turn down RPs with folks if they don't make sense for your character.

Welcome to SWRP: Chaos!

You'll find plenty of great people here who will no doubt be happy to give you a helping hand. Back when I first started, Chaos was intimidating to me too and that was with years of roleplaying on other sites beforehand so I can imagine how you're feeling, but worry not, over time you'll learn your way around and hopefully find a good place that suits you and whatever Characters you choose to create!

As a general first stop, if you haven't already, be sure to read over the Site Rules. This is a good step to ensure you don't "do anything wrong", though most of it is common sense really. Another good app to check out is Discord, which Chaos has it's own channels for member communication as well as most Factions having their own individual chats as well. It's a great way to meet new folks, if you're not already set up there.
